This means a lot Dom, thanks 🙏 so much. I couldn’t do this without the support of each and everyone of you and comments like this push me creatively to keep getting better and bring more value. Thanks-Jeff
Can’t thank you enough for commenting and what’s amazing to me is that I got to tell the story of a wine region that is really just starting. Can you imagine documenting wine regions In France or Italy when they first started? I’m so grateful and inspired by their story.
Jeff, thanks very much for producing this video, very informative. I'm a London-based wine host and just getting into Mexican wine at the moment. Cheers!
So glad you found my videos. I have a 3 part series describing the Valle and each episode discusses certain aspects of what makes truly amazing. Couldn’t do this without the support and feedback from everyone. I appreciate you taking time to comment and let us know how we are doing. Cheers, -Jeff
Great educational video amigo , this video and the other one made me feel I must be there ASAP ..... I actually canceled my trip to valle for the current situation but as soon as this is over Valle here i go !!
So glad you enjoyed the videos Gustavo. I definitely feel your pain about cancelled trips and hope the current situation gets back to normal soon. Keep me posted on how your trip went and what wineries you visited when you get back. Please say hello to some of the winemakers for me also. Cheers, -Jeff
Dear Jeff, thanks so much for taking the time and making an effort to make this documentary series on wines from Mexico and Tequila. I really appreciate that you are showing a positive side of my home country. My wife and I love doing wine tours; we have visited Napa Valley and the wine country just north of San Diego. I currently live in Austin Texas, and I would recommend you to visit the nearby wineries in Hill Country, especially Fredricksburg TX. Thanks again for these magnificently made videos; the quality of the content and photography is superb! You just won another subscriber. Also thanks so much for your service in the US Armed Forces. God Bless :)
This put a smile on my face brother thank you! My next stop is actually the whiskey trail in Texas. My goal is to bring value and education to the alcohol they are drinking. There is a story behind everything and my job is to bring that to life in my way. Still learning a lot as this is a journey of not only me learning all about beer, wine, and spirits but also how to create episodes and be in front of the camera. I’m excited for what the future holds and our episodes we have are only going to get better. Can’t thank you enough for the support. Cheers, -Jeff
Thank you very much for this wonderful video. I am from Tijuana, Baja California and I have lived in the US for over 25 years. I try to explain to people in US just how unique the wines of Baja California are, but it is not easy. In one of your Baja videos the lady from Fauna says "we re as Mexican as anyone else in the country, but we are completely different". That is so true, and it translates into our cuisine and our wines. Very high qualify, but also very unique. If people have an opportunity to visit this region, I highly recommend it. Do it now before it grows so much that it becomes a mini Napa. This place is really magical.
Thanks so much for the message and it made me smile so big! The Valle is such an amazing place. The cuisine, food and right off the ocean, it is so magical. I can’t wait to visit again. Thanks so much for taking your time to comment, it’s really nice to read this. Thank you 🙏
Reminds me of the vines my great grandparents grew on the Navajo reservation. Now it is just hardened clay but this gives me hope that I can reclaim that land to grow vines again
I love the Valle, the food, the wine and most of all the people...it's truly a magical place that defies all the standard 'classifications or labelling' it just 'is' - and it's special for that reason, Valle you just keep doin you!!
Awesome vid! I've had a few of those wines and they are great. You should travel and go to the oldest vineyard in all the Americas Parra, Coahuila, MX Casa Madero... at least they it's the oldest.
Thanks and really glad you liked the episode. Part 3 is coming out next month which features food and the future of the Valle. Appreciate the info about Madero. Cheers and thanks for taking time to comment. -Jeff
Get out of here! I grew up visiting my grandmother in Valle de la Trinidad which is only 2 1/2 hours away from Valle de Guadalupe. I had no idea Valle de Guadalupe was hiding a slice of heaven.... Amazing content once again !!!!!
Such an amazing place. Any one of those wineries and winemakers in the episode are some of the best in the Valle. The wines and hospitality are top notch. I cannot wait to go back and visit. -Jeff
I hear you and the fact that they are all working together and sharing lessons and failures together is what is going to make the valle better. So Glad to share this story.
herun adhikari unfortunately I had to cancel 6 episodes during this time. I’m creating short clips every week of old episodes but I plan on putting out one new episode a month until everything gets back to normal. I can’t thank you enough for your support.
Yes they are, I’ve found them throughout So Cal! It’s hit or miss and better to find them at BevMo for example instead of the regular grocery stores. Cheers, -Jeff
So does that mean in certain areas of the world you are lituaraly bound by those limitations or is that only when you have certifications that obviously have rules. So could one make his own wine or spirit for that matter and just try to sell it like it is? Ps has ony of these people ever used chicken tractors between the vines?
Great information thanks for sharing. I know a few wineries and restaurants had wells on their property when I discussed briefly with them about the water situation.
All of your videos are worth it to watch them on TV , thanks for everything
This means a lot Dom, thanks 🙏 so much. I couldn’t do this without the support of each and everyone of you and comments like this push me creatively to keep getting better and bring more value. Thanks-Jeff
