Very proud watching that my country is already being recognized in the wine industry!! 2024 is a big year to mexican wine , in June of the current year the Councours Mondial Bruxelles will happen in Leon Guanajuato , Mexico. So im hoping you can came and film again in Mexico but now in Queretaro , that right now is the 2nd state in Mexico that is very popular for the great wines that you can find here !!! Love your videos !! Thanks for sharing all the cool places around the world ...
How does this channel not have more subscribers? This is a television-quality show. Writing, content, host, direction...could easily be on Travel Channel or similar. Cheers to making such an informative look at the valle! My wife and I were married at Vena Cava's hotel (La Villa Del Valle) in mid-2018, and having been to the region a dozen or so times before that, we're making our first trip back later this week. Can't wait to see what new surprises the valle has in store. This served as a great hype video for our trip.
Jason, thank you so much for the kind words! We work really hard, so it's always great to hear the work is appreciated! Hoping one day we'll be on some sort of channel for sure! The Valle is growing so fast, I'm sure there's a ton of new things since you've been back. I'd love to visit Vena Cava, I got to the know the owners a bit and they invited me to visit; so it's definitely on our list for next time. Have a wonderful trip, and thanks again for subscribing! (PS; I've got all the locations we visited, as well as other recs, and the wine from the episode for sale, on the website page visforvino.com/ensenada-mexico in case you want to check out any of the wineries!)
Exactly! What Jason said. This video is incredible--so impressive in its quality. I'm kicking around the idea of a trip to Valle in November. I typed, "valle de guadalupe baja california" in the search box in UA-cam and this video was the first hit. Vince was made for the camera--so personable. I'm sold on Valle now. Already forwarded the link to a few friends.
@@DavidDavid888 Thanks so much David! I’m so glad you found the channel, and hope you get to visit the Valle soon! Appreciate the forwarding of the show to friends; it’s the #1 way we grow!

One of my new favorite bottles is Teziano by Norte 32. An almost 6 year old Nebbiolo wine made at a 6 person wine operation started by a former AeroMexico pilot.
Absolutely great job capturing the essence of Valle de Guadalupe. Perfect blend of keeping it accessibly friendly, while not downplaying the complexity of the local wine arteries.
We’ve been going to the Valle for years. What an amazing episode highlighting this wonderful region. One negative about this video is that it will drive more people to the Valle! For a while it was a well-kept secret for us. 😅
Thank you for including ourselves in your video I just wanted to add that we also give information of ensenada and activities for families ride in the horse carruage

Fantastic video, leaves much to be desired. I just recently discovered some gems from here on a trip to Quintana Roo. Never knew about Mexican wines before it. This video shed a lot of light. I will be sure to make a trip
Wow...awesome video! By far my favorite video showcasing Valle de Guadalupe wines and food. Hope you will one day do a follow up video/trip to explore other Valle de Guadalupe wineries. I've had wines from Vena Cava, Santo Tomas, and Lechuza. My go to wineries are Vena Cava and Monte Xanic. I was in Ensenada back in early 2019 visiting relatives and we didn't get a chance to visit the Valle but we did have lots of vino from the Valle. Was planning a trip last year to revisit my relatives with a planned trip to the Valle but that didn't happen for obvious reasons. Luckily, I have access to Mexican wines as I, too, am in Southern Cali (suburb of L.A.). Anyway, again, awesome video and glad you enjoyed your trip and the persons you met (and introduced to us were great). Keep up the great work and so glad you are back. Salud!
Thank you so much! We loved this episode as well. And you’re right, so much great wine to explore there. We hope we can be back soon for sure. And so close to SoCal, I never knew! Hope more people take the short drive over the border, it’s worth it. Good to hear from you as always, thanks again!

Awesome documentary guys..! I was at a wine tasting at Planet Hollywood Cancun last November and at the end of the tasting, our sommelier told us they were all Mexican wines from the Baja and we were amazed by the quality! I was at another tasting years ago in the same area and it wasn't that at all. Fantastic night. I am looking forward to get there in the Baja next and see it for real as I have a dream to invest in this universe where it can be more affordable than up here. I live close to a nice wine valley under a big time development called the Okanagan here in Western Canada where winemakers are coming from all over the world. They now grow almost everything you can imagine and they're winning world blind tasting competitions. Maybe you should look at it :). If one day you decide to come around, don't hesitate to contact me as I could help you. I know some great people in the wine industry in the area. :) Cheers 🍷

All the Mission/Pais I have tasted has been red wines - was this Mission a Blanc de noirs or is it a white mutation? Very cool video! I have a friend from Mexico who brings me Mexican wines, will have to ask him to search for some of these!
We love your show and we're heading down to Ensenada next week following your track :) would you mind sharing the name and contact info of your body the wine tour guide?
Partially! Exporting is generally expensive with all the regulations and taxes, and MX isn’t an incredibly wealthy wine area, so it’s tough for the mostly small producers of the region. CA also sees it as a threat to their wine industry. You can’t even bring wine you buy as a consumer in MX across the border to CA when you drive back (except a single bottle per person). Also, the Mexican government taxes the wine heavily, so it makes it tough on the producers to have enough margin on the wine to make it worth exporting.
I watched this video, and I really enjoy your stuff. But the statement that compares the number of Baja wineries to California is completely stupid. You said Baja has over 100 wineries and that compares with California. California has nearly 5000 wineries. The US has over 11000. I backed up this video and watched it over and yes that's what you said. Really???
Hi David! Glad you're enjoying the episodes! I think you missed a word there...at 5:06 I compare it to "Lodi" California, which is a wine region in inland California (thats much more well known than Baja even though its the same-ish size was the point I was trying to make). Because your're right, it is definitely not as large as all of California!
