Technically Alhaitham is now the first in command (as the acting grand sage) and has the same element as Nahida (Which follows the same trend as Jean with Venti, Ningguang with Zhongli, and Miko with Ei). The second in command is the Mahamatra himself, Cyno. Who in fact IS an electro. So no chains were broken.

Except, aside from Inazuma it has always been second *Non-Archon* in command and even with Inazuma you can argue that Sara would be second in Command to Yae Miko. And Sumeru has Cyno to fill that role.
Actually, now that I think about it, the second in command to the Archon seems to always share the Archon's Element. Jean is Anemo, Ningguang is Geo, Yae Miko is Electro and Alhaithem is Dendro. He really doesn't break any trends if looked at that way.

No. The Second in Command in Inazuma is not Electro user its the Commisioners. The main one is Ayato. Ayato has a higher Ranking than Sara and Yae. Yae still needs to talk to Yashiro Commission for approval to start a festival
@@vanthursday yet yae miko just as much helps run inazuma let's say any disasters would happen like the vision hunt decree, she goes to ayato to help get her plan into action but she also has a lot of power in inazuma
So I'd still consider her second in command (technically) while ayato is the head of the yashiro commision and work to put yae mikos ideas to effect (he talks about this in "about yaemiko" how he often puts her ideas into action like he works under her but is an important asset as well to her)
Well for the ressitance the second in command is gorou to kokomi and i highly doubt bediou is the second in command to the resistance
Jean isn't the second in command though. She is the acting grand master, Varka is. He could very well potentially be a non Ameno and it ruins what you said

The reason why he appears to look small is, because he artificially makes himself smaller to make others around him not feel bad about their height. Actually a true story. No copium. Trust me
I don't know what research you're talking about. But from my own research, Xiao's name comes from a demon(?) that can change its own size at will. Although Zhongli's reason of giving him that name lies in another. But with this in the picture, Xiao can either be in the chibi squad or grown up squad. They probably made him mid because of that. Or maybe they're just thinking 2 tall male character is enough for each region......

@@-eri_txrtle- Xiao's name *Xiao* doesn't mean swiftness. It's his Adeptus name *General Alatus* that has the meaning of swiftness. I searched for a video of Osial fight in original Chinese just because I can't find any connection between 魈 and swiftness. And it's proven that they really don't have a connection when I heard he said “夜叉之名” which means his Adpetus name/title. English translation left out a word and that one definitely caused confusion. He has three titles “金翅鹏王” which is translated in English as “General Alatus” which is used for his position during Archon wars , “降魔大圣” which is translated into “Conqueror of demons” for his job in general and the last one is which most people of Liyue knew of him as “护法夜叉” translated as “The Vigilant Yaksha” , the protector of Liyue.
Alatus means having wings or winged from what I've learned so it's also relatable with swiftness in English too. On the other hand 魈 has a different meaning, Rex Lapis might've chosen it because of how Xiao has went through a lot of hardships just like demon(youkai) “魈(Xiao)” did. And it's a real fact that the demon has ability to change its own size at will.
I really like him so I did many searchings on him as I can. There's still a lot of things I've learned about him, that let me connecting him with those religious stories in real life. I don't have many knowledges over other characters as much as I know about Xiao.
As a Xiao main, I took that personally-

Wait, in Mondstadt Lisa's just the librarian. The real 2nd in command should be Kaeya. He even took over Jean's duties when she's out vacationing in the golden archipelago. Also, technically Jean is 2nd in command as the acting grandmaster, just taking over Varka's job while he's out on an expedition.
I think that "2nd in comand is electro" theory is highly far fetched

bc varka is the actual grandmaster and jean is just his timed replacement
The theory is more like ‘the closest companion to the first in command’ is electro rather than ‘second in command’ that way it makes a lot more sense
@@Seraph0723 well, I wouldn't say it makes more sense. It surely does help when it comes to Jean/Lisa and Raiden/Yae Miko, but it doesn't work at all in the rest of Tevyat. Ningguang doesn't have any close friend, and there isn't really any interaction between her and Keqing. Not even mention Sumeru, where Althaitam had zero interaction with Nahida
@@kapimati__ dude ningguang and keqing have a very important relationship with each other, but that wasn't even the character I had in mind, beidou is the companion of ningguang, not only are there close with each other but their duality is of great importance for liyue, they are both seen as protectors of land and sea etc.
also the theory is just for fun and giggles, we know it is not really a thing because sumeru breaks that cycle anyway

Alhaitham is honestly amazing. His playstyle is quite fun, he's brilliant (which I adore,) and he has a wonderful personality. He was a must pull for me.

I love how all of the characters are unique and has own their unique skills even if some of them are similar each other still character's aesthetics, personalities shine over the similarities. They all have their differences along them. I love how Hoyoverse puts so much details for their characters even if they are free.

THERE'S NO SUCH THING AS ELECTRO SECOND COMMAND!
In Mondstadt, the grandmaster is Varka. Jean is only an Acting Grandmaster.
In Liyue, all Qixing share equal position. They're designed to not have a leader AT ALL because they're originally serves as Morax right hand (like Tri-Comission to Baal). Both Keqing & Ningguang share the same status.
In Inazuma, the head of state is the Raiden Shogun. However, the management of the nation falls to the Tri-Comission. Every commissioner are equal by status & position as explained in Ayato's Story Quest. Like the Qixing they also don't have any leader.
Although Sara belongs to Tenryou commission she isn't exactly part of it. The current leader for that is Kujou Kamaji. Sara's true position is a General of Shogun's Army which directly work under Inazuma Shogunate (like Milelith & Corps Thirty).
For Yae, Grand Narukami Shrine is a neutral organization. She serves Ei as a familiar not as a Guuji. It's like how Ningguang paid Beidou to work for her as an individual not as a Crux Captain.
There's no need to argue this bc the whole electro second in command thing is a headcanon people made up. It's very little to do with lore/techinicalities and more to do with how we perceive the authority of current playable characters based on their story relevance. Plus, it's just a pattern people noticed and there's nothing wrong with having fun with it.

I think everyone knows who will be added to the standard banner next: Albedo, being one of the oldest geo characters is growing less popular. There is also no geo 5* on the banner. That makes him a candidate for standard banner. Although to counter my theory, they might not add him. He has story relevance for khanriah! Hoyo’ might be waiting it out until he gets some sort of plot twist or he “eventually” looses control. Tell me what you think
you're forgetting the fact that they're forbidden from adding an event character to standard banner. If they do appear on standard, hoyo needs to specify that on their release (just like with tighnari and dehya), otherwise they could get literally sued for it. If we do get a geo standard char, it will be a new one.

Actually in Mondstadt the 2nd in command is Kaeya, not Lisa. You can find that information in one of Jean's character stories.

Female characters has 3 which is kid (klee, diona,etc), teen (xiangling, keqing, etc), and adult (beido, lisa, jean, etc) while Male characters only has 2 which is teen (bennet ,xiao, chongyun, etc) and adult (itto, zhongli, thoma, etc). All the kids body type are female and none male

The electro thing is kinda a stretch but you could technically say that Lisa, Keqing, Sara, Cyno are the second in command after the “representative”, then we have a Pyro character who is kinda welcoming us Amber, Xiangling, Thoma/Yoimya and Dehya
And Cryo who gives us a quest(?) Kaeya, Ganyu and Ayaka, currently no Cryo characters from Sumeru so, ig the hydro charas are rich and meet us with some short of mission that they can do alone but for some reason we gotta help Mona, Xingqiu, Ayato/Kokomi and ig Nilou
