So I’m the owner of the Mustang I used to be a salesman at a ford dealership I used to test drive these cars all the time but mine came in and happened to run a lot harder than all the other ones I drove it was way quicker than any other gen3 I drove that was new I was also the first to test drive mine once I felt how quick this one was compared to the others I bought it.. when I test drove it I drove it with 2 family members in the car for the first time and it was quicker than any other Mustang at my dealer driving them alone
It's unreal. "Camaro got gapped". They were even at 150 and the mustang pulled a little up top. No one appreciates a decent race, just bashes everyone's builds.

The Gen3 Coyotes continue to impress. For it to perform like it does N.A. and hold its own against such bigger displacement engines is definitely a feat worth recognizing. And we don’t even have to mention how well they perform boosted. Also as for the “factory freak” stuff this is the difference between an engine that was broken in right vs any other run of the mill version of that same engine. With modern rotating assemblies yes the engine will be OK if you just buy the car and start driving it, Change the oil when the car tells you to etc. But if you take the time to Properly break in your engine, which isn’t difficult, you end up with a machine that performs on a level above.
You say loses to N/A camaro, but your failing to mention that its a fully built H/C camaro that makes 700 plus hp, against a stock gt500... thats apples to oranges buddy.@RobQuincyl24
Camaro is tuned by the best tuner out there for the LT1 platform with more mods, mustang is tuned by some company I never even heard of before. This further confirms that Ford is king. Being a die hard chevy fan like myself I hate to admit it.
Just depends on the cars. It’s back and forth with the 2 platforms. You can take 10 different LT1’s and 5.0’s with 10 races and it’ll be 5/5 guaranteed. They’re too close to say one is always faster than other.

Also I don't have to cope because ford is still on top. The 5.0. Coyote doesn't need to build the engine or make big power NA. You can just slap a supercharger, or turbos on a stock engine and make 950 wheel hp and that's on the safe side. There is people pushing stock engines well past 1000 hp. Actually the gen 2 and gen 3 coyotes both have cars with stock un opened engines in the 7s. So yeah now you can cope lol.

Not sure about the Mustang but my buddies have 2021 10 speed Camaros..ones an Lt1 the other 1le. Both did headers..cai ...Lt4 manifiods. The LT1 owner had his intake ported and and added a ported throttle body. Same shop did install and dybo ....the Lt1 only made 3 whp more and 7 ft lbs torque. Sime mods are questionable. Good run here tho

Definitely, part of that is because it can rev to about 7800 rpm, something the LT1 can't do safely.
