This guy at the beginning, Adam Sztaba, was the conductor and the creator of the whole idea. He wrote on his social media, that he was looking for the musicians to play this song. The musicians were sent the notes and they played it separately using the metronome only and then they sent it back. The artists sang the song to the original music (strongly recommend btw) :) Then other guy was synchronising it all together. Greetings from Poland! :)
This song is very special for Poles. It's a cover, song is originally made in 1982 and perform by Bajm (Beata Kozidrak), when Poland was under the occupation of Soviets - all of the politicians was totally controlled by Soviey Union and Poland was communist country (but people in their hearts felt free and was fighting for it). So basically it's about daily life and problems under the regime, but it's in fact hidden message. It's protest-song, that was made to give Poles courage and stranght to keep going and holdon at the regime and don't forget the bright future is ahead. And finally, 7 years later, after long fight and riots, in 1989 we get our freedom back, and this song become a memorial of those times :)
It was not made online. There was 100's of musicians, and a lot of stars from Poland. Every each of them was recording by themself. Than in post-production they all were mixed together. It was made in a begging of lock downs in Poland. And the idea went from a head from the guy from the beginning of the video. Adam Sztaba it's his name. I feel proud that i was working with him a few times, and I will always feel great fullness for what he did with that piece. Dziękuję Adamie
The song "Co mi Panie dasz" was written in 1982 by Beata Kozidrak, the vocalist of the Bajm band. (If you understand Polish history from 1945 to 1989, you will understand the lyrics of the song ). During the COVID-19 epidemic, composer Adam Sztaba prepared a new arrangement of the song. 732 musicians participated in the online recording. Private individuals recorded videos playing various instruments, and then they sent them to Adam, and his team edited the video clip. Professional vocalists who took part in the recording: Cleo, Dorota Miśkiewicz, Piotr Cugowski, Kasia Moś, Igor Herbut, Andrzej Piaseczny, Olga Szomańska, Natalia Kukulska, Ewa Farna, Kuba Badach, Kasia Wilk, Natalia Nykiel, Ania Karwan, Sebastian Karpiel, Patrycja Markowska, Damian Ukeje. If you're interested, before Adam Sztaba, other great Polish vocalists created covers: Edyta Górniak, the duo Gaba Kulka & Czesław Mozil, Dawid Podsiadło with Tomasz Organkiem. Depending on the performer, covers have different performance styles. Take a look on UA-cam at the original rendition: 'Co mi panie dasz' by Bajm in 1983 and compare it to the covers :D autor @pychu1987

A to POLSKA właśnie !
Well, I found it funny you said that there is no black people within orchestra. Maybe if you speak of USA, west of Europe where they have lots of different nationalities everywhere, this could be racist. But you have to remember that we don’t have many immigrants, also we never had colonies, so from where should we take take this people? This doesn’t mean we are racist or anything like that, we are simply mostly polish. Not every country is comparable to the others, but we still love all the PEOPLE.( Katarzyna Gnyp)
Yes! When I was in Poland, I saw a person with a darker complexion only once. I love all people (skin color shouldn't matter). it is important what kind of person you are, maybe because I am from a small town, but when I was in a bigger city, I also didn't see people of other nationalities (maybe tourists). Poland was very poor and occupied every bit. We were attacked a bit, Russia on the one hand, Germany on the other, partitions took place, we lost our independence ... There were many attempts to destroy Polish culture and language, and for a long time Polish was not on the map. Unwanted communism, closing to the rest of the world, we were occupied, robbed and poor for a long time, which made us not attractive to foreigners ... When someone wanted to move, he chose Western Europe (Great Britain, France, Germany) and North America (the United States), and not Poland, which was poor and there was communism in it. All this meant that there are not too many people of other nationalities in Poland, which does not mean that we are racists :) many white people. They just don't live there, and if they live, they don't live in a very large amount. The fact that there are not too many foreigners not to change the fact that we are friendly to everyone, no matter where someone is :)
