- Although I saw this news when it dropped on Monday, I instead focused on Pikes Peak and Bugatti Tourbillon pieces, so now we need to talk about the phenomenal performance records just shattered by the Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut. Finally after a 24 year run, a car has finally matched the 0-227 mph time in particular of my favourite vehicle of all time - the bonkers MTT Y2K Turbine Superbike, itself a Guinness Record holder already.

Koenigsegg is one car manufacturer I really wish PD would add to GT7 or GT8 in future.....no one recreates cars as accurately as PD, graphically speaking.....and with a bit of tuning, you can make most cars handle similar to their real life counter parts....that combined with PSVR 2 is literally the closest I (and most other racing game fans) will be able to go to driving a Koenigsegg 😂
Kinda wish F2P GT. Might as well as costs are so high at this point.

Agreed no game create the detail pd does on cars, i would go crazy to see koenigsegg added to gran turismo. Psvr2 with that jesko would be insane

The fact that it took almost a quarter of a century for a production car to match the MTT Y2K performance speaks volumes of how much ahead of its time the bike was. And let's remember that the bike is way, way less safer than any car, regardless of how fast (or slow) it is.
Exactly, lol. And you can pick one up for around $110k versus millions for a hypercar. MTT was actually selling their baby blue ex-demo Y2K for that before it got stolen. The new 420RR is over $300k now, and as far as I've seen still unproven, officially at least

Koenigsegg is the brand i want the most to be featured in gt7.
Hey buddy, we got confirmation that the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve will be coming to GT7 1.49 update. Don’t know when the update comes but the Canadian track will be in the 1.49 update.

Its not confirmed that i have seen yet, but its very likely.

Chiron SS that set the 304 mph Record it's 0-250 mph isn't tested
But it's 200-260 mph is as fast as Jesko absolut
I wonder that the Chiron SS 300+ will do from 0-250 mph
Maybe 19-20 seconds
@@Smzxeit will be slower than jesko. Think about it the chiron is like 30-35% heavier than jesko with about the same amount of power.
@@andreasmoller9798 weight doesn't matter Chiron SS has AWD and it's more aerodynamic
Since the 200-250 mph is absolutely similar on both cars
The AWD should have quicker 0-62 0-100 0-150 mph and Chiron SS is over 1 second quicker than Jesko absolut from 0-150 mph
0-180 mph is similar
I think this can go either way

Chiron SS is much quicker AWD more Torque it's much quicker from 0-62 0-100 0-150 0-180 mph
Top end very similar 200-260 mph
Above 250+ mph Bugatti is faster
This is truth can't be digested by some clowns
Bugatti still takes the 1# spot for me being the FIRST production car to hit the 300 barrier!
No production car has hit 300mph so far.
It doesn't count because of 2 reasons:
#1 the car that did it didn't have a production run and was a one off special
#2 for a run to be verified and count it has to be done in both directions. Bugatti did not do that with the 300+.
