- Sorry I’ve been gone so long. Let’s catch up. With everything that was going on in my life over the past couple of months, I was in a dark place. A budding friendship of mine ended with the passing of Jason ‘Leinfors’ Parker, which I thought might make it darker. But I look back on our conversations together, and instead, I’m inspired. I want to talk about where I’ve been, what’s been happening, as well as give a farewell to Leinfors.
I wasn't sure if I should do the return and memorial to Leinfors in two separate videos, but his passing is largely what pushed me to return, so I decided to make it all one video.

R.I.P. Jason Parker, I'm just a terraria player but what he did for the game was immense, and I loved his outfit the most. Really a tragic thing to happen to someone so kind.

I was chatting with a friend when I got the news about Leinfors. It hit me pretty hard as everything I’ve seen/heard/interacted with him has been amazing and when I heard that he had passed I was at a loss for words, I really did not know what to say at all.
I’ve also been using a piece of his dev set for a long time so I’ve always felt a bit of connection with him that way.
It’s truly big loss for the everyone and I wish his family and friends the best.
Leinfors R.I.P.
I remember when I worked with him, I was the builder at Relogic and he often worked with me on ideas and such. I kept complaining, "Man I wish we could build with all the unique backwalls" and he pushed for them to be craftable, later "I wish we could build with all the rubble..." at the time he said it would basically be impossible... then a few updates later he managed to do it. He was a legend, he was a mentor to me, but more importantly, he was one of my best friends. The world is a little darker without him in it and I'm going to miss him dearly.

Wow, when it rains, it pours. I’m sorry to hear about your family’s loss and health scare. Leinfors will be missed as well, for all of his dedication to the game and its community.

You should feel free to take as much time away as you want. We aren’t owed any of your time or explanation as to why you leave. I’m still glad to see you back though. Hope life doesn’t through you any more curveballs and you can get back to doing what you enjoy!

Sorry to hear about your grandparents, losing a family member can be very chaotic and stressful on top of the emotional pain, I've been there myself. I'm glad to hear that you're feeling better now!
I also didn't know Leinfors that well but it sounds like he was a treasured member of the relogic team and the terraria community. Wishing the best for his family and friends

I recently got back into Terraria. I've been following Chippy for some time (mostly for his updates and tips and tricks videos). He also once highlighted some really sweet builds. I only just came to your channel today, watched one of the build videos about improving basic wood houses. I've done a lot more impressive builds because of videos like that and I wanted to see what else you've done which lead my here.

Thank you man... My grandfather and grandmother have been in and out of the hospital for the past two or so months and my grandpa is close to dying, while my grandmother has stage 4 cancer in a few different places.
I didn't know this was what I would get opening UA-cam while eating breakfast on a Sunday morning but I needed it. They've been some of the most influential people in my life and I've been so overwhelmed by this whole situation.

Its very sad to have lost Leinfors and my deepest sympathies go out to the Relogic family. As for your personal struggles Khaios, I'm really sorry for what you have been going through. I can relate a lot as I am still struggling myself after the death of my grandfather in July last year. I am glad that Jason was able to help inspire you to give yourself the motivation needed to get yourself moving again, although bittersweet as it may be. You have been greatly missed and although I know that sentiment doesn't help when you are stuck in a dark place, I hope it will allow you to keep moving forward.

I'm so sorry about your loss bro. I know it's hard, I really do, because I've experienced the same loss, except it was 4 Instead of one for me when I was very young. I know I'm new, but I hope that things will get better for you.

Welcome back, I hope you are starting to recover from such a difficult time, leinfors passing was a massive blow to everyone in the community but he will live on within terraria, within the people who were inspired by terraria
As a close friend of Leinfors, his passing made me rethink lots of things, terraria always was and always will be my confort game because of him, all the joy he brought for all this years will be unforgetable. Thank you for this warm video, as an old fan of your work I truly am so happy to see that other people will always remember him as fondly as i will. I'm so sorry for your loss mate, I am also quite sad that leinfors has pass away I was devastated when I saw the post they made on the forums...
This gave me sad memories of the past. Of the people and pets I've lost on this journey, all the people that have also went threw this had the same feeling. But there's no other direction, besides going forward.
