Thank you for this video as my 2005 Merc 115 2stroke has this very fuel filter and there are not many videos to watch. My only feedback would be to ask to never stop filming to see the entire process. As a new boat owner, this video was great and has instilled additional confidence in me to stop overthinking this and to just go and do. Did the motor act funny at all upon first start up as the fuel processed through the new filter? What made you pick the filter you did? I ask because some filter prices vary wildly from $13 to $50 for the same filter (some included the filter key and most did not) and this made me question the cheaper priced filters. To help me pick, I went strictly off of the number of reviews on Amazon and paid for the $50 filter and then paid $9 for the key. Great tip for hand writing the date on the top as a reminder - and saw this on your oil filter too. Thank you again for making the video!
Yw, yes id like to film it all but im horrible at editing and it takes boat..loads of time. Im a one take wonder... i need a new computer.. don't over think filters either, quicksilver saves money and is identical. Gl
Great video. I just can't hear well, is it for the 350 or 300 model or is it the same? I have a Mercury 300 verado and I am wondering after how many working hours is the best time to change them?
Hello, on my fuel filter where you write the date I have original writen FALS, on the old and the new that I change quicksilver part. Can enibadi explain me that??

Thx, Mine was a 300 but I'm 90% sure a 350 is the same.
Don't forget to add anti seize lubricant to filter threads. Very important.
