Much respect for the amount of work you put in to making these videos. I’m sure managing your pack, cameras, a dog, and gravity wasn’t easy- but you did it well and in a very beautiful place. The coffee shot was my favorite 😊
Brings back good memories! Did this with family and friends, had the rocks at baby Bedwell to ourselves, simply amazing! Tried to get to Creamnbut turned around JUST in time before a crazy storm hit us. Really felt for the folks crammed into Bedwell or on the way to Cream, it would have been brutal for them.
Thanks for sharing. I can't wait for my journey on the Island at the end of May. I'll be visiting friends in Victoria. Then I'll be going up Island to visit Fam and friends. I def want to go fishing as I have never been before.
Baby Bedwell Lake is the prettier of the 2 camp spots but adds more to your hike to Cream Lake if that's your destination. Bedwell Lake and then day hike to Cream Lake and back is My favorite hike on the Island. The fog you see rolls up the Bedwell Sound from the west coast, cool spot.
Love the video, Nina. Looks like a challenging but great hike. I live in Vancouver so I haven't done much hiking in Victoria but it's on my list of places to hike. PS: Was I just unaware of a really nice day out 3 days ago or is Victoria just significantly different weather? haha
It will be great if you could share the hiking||camping plan as well. Could link up videos for a trip and more ppl may benefit from that, and get more likes! (I think you deserve more -)
Hi Maddie! This was last summer in August. I’ve read that there is still snow on the trail up to Cream Lake until June. I’m not sure about Baby Bedwell though. May might still be a bit early
I would love to meet you and your dog. I have a disability and I have a walker and I have a camping form that allows 4 adults and 4 kids to camp for free in any BC Provincial Campground and I am looking for new friends that can take me

Which time of the year did you go? Such a beautiful hike!
This was late July I believe
I spend my July month each year doing that, those year focusing on the west koots.
