    I have been printing in BambuStudio for months, I put this on for background noise more than anything, but I've learned so much in just the first 20 min. Your presentation style and in-depth coverage of each feature is basically EXACTLY the quality (or *higher*) than paid courses I've taken for various topics. This video is an absolute gift to the community and I can't explain how much I appreciate that you'd be willing to put this amount of time and effort into teaching people. Amazing work, thanks again!

    Bought my printer in June - just setup in Sept. Already sent a few to print but the algorithm on TikTok sent me to this.
    Great beginner tutorial - wished I watched this as a starter instead of trying to figure out the interface. Would have saved me time.
    For anyone reading this: the 1hr 10min is worth it as a primer.

    Thank you so much for this great tutorial Nick.
    I just got my hands on the Bambu Lab A1 mini and bought a bunch of Filaments. I've only used the Bambu Mobile App and printed available models, now I'm starting my journey into 3D Modelling and printing my own stuff. With your help, this is so much more efficient - I'm stoked to join the community and recommend your advice here on YT to my fellows.
    Have a great day and happy printing!

    Commenting to thank you for such a masterful 101 class for this beast of complex software. Also to please the UA-cam algorithm gods. I enjoyed the phasing and just enough level of detail to understand the common use of these features.
    Only suggestion would be to move the quick summary of importing a model to printing to just the beginning as that is usually what most newbies such as myself want to do and get more in depth details on what is happening under the hood later (i.e. while a model is printing); as most of the models from MakerWorld already come with sane defaults and you may want to tune them later for specific needs.
    Other than that really appreciate your time and effort of sharing your knowledge and passion with us. Keep it up!

      Congratulations on your new Bambu Carbon! A great starting point for 3D printing. For modeling software, many users recommend Fusion 360, Tinkercad, or Blender, depending on your skill level and needs. I've been using my P1S for 8 months now but never went deep on all the settings. Your videos are well done.
    EDIT: Where's the link to that 3D Warship print in your video thumbnail?

      haha that warship is AI generated. Just suppose to represent going from a plain benchy to a benchy warship.

    Question: When on a Pause, can you lower the bed to have better access to the part? Like adding magnets.

    • @bambamprint
      @bambamprint  3 місяці тому +1

      Great question, Yes you could do that using the custom Gcode for that layer. I have honestly never had an issue with space even with very small prints.

      @@bambamprint I never use pause so I do not know if the bed and the hotend stays close to each other or if they move apart like a preset offset. Not sure where to look to add Gcode at that point. Perhaps something for a future video :)
      Thanks for answering.

    I really want to buy a bambu p1p or is it p1s . But i want to see practical real world application use not some goofy boat or little doll being printed. Can some one make a video of scanning to print of an actual part for use and no gun parts please.

    • @bambamprint
      @bambamprint  2 місяці тому +1

      Thank you for your interest in the Bambu P1P/P1S printers. I understand you're looking for practical, real-world applications of 3D printing beyond items like dinosaur skulls or figurines. Many 3D printer enthusiasts are hobbyists who find practical value in a wide range of projects that might seem purely decorative to others.
      However, 3D printing is indeed capable of producing functional parts and tools for everyday use. I'll take your suggestion into consideration and look into creating a video that demonstrates scanning and printing an actual part for practical purposes. I appreciate your feedback and hope to provide content that showcases the versatility of 3D printing for both hobbyists and those seeking more utilitarian applications.
