Holy shit. My old man passed 17:08 away craps (7) years ago. I didn't discover until way too late that this game was the only thing I've ever seen him passionate about. He was a Roller. I'm now learning in his honor. Of all the many videos I've watched, this is by far the most comprehensive easy to digest, and also by far the smartest. No fancy visuals or clickbait or gimmicks. Just a cool dude who's great at what he does. Thank you for this. I'm going to try this strategy next time and hope he sets the dice for me. 🎲🎲
as a former dealer you agreeing with pretty much ANYTHING this guy said is nonsense and you should feel terrible for lying to promote his channel for whatever reason you are using to do it.
Thanks for an easy explanation. Simplifying and breaking down is what new players need . In the beginning craps can be a very intimidating game. I love craps. I even learned a little more from your video. Great job!
Steve, I am a rookie and used you 135 across and regressed to 54 across after 2 hits on my cruise ship today. I was able to win 300.00 very quickly and colored up and cashed in. Thanks for the tip. The table was pretty full and I really looked like a pro in front of the other players using your system. I’m looking forward to playing the system again tonight.
I popped another 300.00 on the last day of the cruise with your system. I only had a 300.00 bank roll and would not recommend doing this system with less than 600.00. I was lucky to have a good start. Also, didn’t play very much. My winnings came from hit and runs. My wife likes to play 10.00 minimum black Jack so the majority of the evenings were spent doing that, and I would sneak away and play the system. She was shocked when I would come back with so many chips multiple times.
Love this explanation! Ive been at the craps tables and (knock on wood) have yet to leave the table with a loss. I mostly play the minimum and place the 6 and 8. i pocket all the gains and dont start increasing my bets until im playing with house money.
interesting been shooting craps for over 50 years and never played your favorite strategy. I am a don't player normally, BUT if I gat on a "hot table" or my cold table turns, I have no problem going right way. Next time it happens I am going to try your strategy. I always try to get my money back before getting to aggressive. I agree with you 100%, be serious with your money, play with the houses. My theory is you will never get rich gambling with out a worlds worth of luck, so aim to have a fantastic vacation that doesn't cost you anything. Still ahead after 50 years. Never won a fortune but never loss a fortune either.
I'm in Vegas at the moment and applying loads of things I learned from this video. I've watched it at least 4 times. Playing over at Oyo for some $5 minimum action. I go $27 across and press until the shooter hits the point, then I pull back to one unit and start again. This evening I turned a $200 buy-in into $500. February 6 update Just turned $400 into $900. 😁
No such thing as “house” money... Once you have won that money, that money is yours. That is what gets some in trouble. Now, having said that you are giving great advice here. But, people need to remember that a place bet can be taken down whenever you wish. It is not like a contract bet on the pass line or the come bet. If they remember this they can press a bit and that is okay but there is nothing wrong with pulling those place bets down when you have already made a lick on a hot shooter and wait until you feel another hot roll is coming. And like you said you need to vary your strategies according to the shooter (You have setters and you have random rollers) and how they roll the dice. At the end of the day no matter what you do it is gambling and the house “edge” is going to beat any strategy you throw at it in the long run. All a craps shooter can do is try and outwit the house in the short term and walk away a winner. And no worries, that house “edge” will always be at the casino waiting to even up the score... Good Luck everyone! We are gonna need it!!!
"You have setters and you have random rollers" ..There is only one difference between the two is where the dice start the split second the shooter lets go of the dice they turn into a RAMDOM SHOOTER
Completely agree. It's comparable to those videos that say, "I was a real estate guru but now I'm going to show you how to do what I did!!!" Yeah, right...you were making millions but you decided to switch your profession to marketing in order to share your big secret lol. The house ALWAYS wins. Like the old saying: the casinos weren't built with money from all the winners.
whoa - this video is phenomenal. at first glance, i was like this is not what i wanted. then when u started to speak the truth and break everything down -- GREAT STUFF
Every bet on the table has an edge for the house. The more bets you place, the bigger the house's edge. It doesn't matter how you combine your bets, each additional bet gives the house additional edge.
Exactly, each probability is independent of each other. The house's edge is easy to look up. Don't Pass with Free Odds bet is statistically the best chance of winning.
We had Casino night at my office. I had no knowledge as a beginner. Played the field most of the night but after watching this video, makes sense to switch strategies.
Mark, I loved the explanation, it really helped me. I used to play the iron cross and stopped for the same reasons you explained. Then I started playing the field and again you nailed it, I lost more than I could win. I've subscribed and will watch more of your informative strategy lessons. Thanks a again!!
I tried this system/strategy. It worked beautifully. I did the 135 made my money back, put the rest on the same and went for 7 rolls before I 7 outed. Made $450!! Thank you friend.
Hi Mark, I thoroughly enjoy your lighthearted, funny, yet very informative videos on playing craps. I started to listen to your advice on paying attention to whats hot at the moment. The other day 6's and 8's kept hitting so I started laying $$$ down on them and it worked. Numbers, at least for me, start hitting a pattern and I'm learning to follow whats hot at the moment. It's working in my favor so far. Also have started to put my winnings aside and playing with the house money which has been going quite well. Anxious to try your method of putting money across the top like you described in this video. Thanks for your advice! See ya at the crap table if you are ever in Reno, NV!
Every single throw of the dice in craps has an expected value below what is being bet. Every single one. There is no way to "beat" the game. You might come out ahead in a given session, and you might come out behind. That's because of the standard deviation--the variability involved in random, independent events. Some bets at the craps table are better and worse than others, but they ALL have a losing outcome. The only way to come out ahead is to get lucky. But if you play long enough--and that includes going away and coming back--you will eventually lose it all. That's how casinos make money. The dice don't care if one person throws them 100 times, or 100 people each throw them once. (Or otherwise bet.) It's the same thing and will result in a slight edge (and profit) for the casino. So, have a good time. Just know that you are gambling on random events you have zero control over, other than the choices you make regarding the types of bets (and, thus, the house advantage over you).
Some people gamble for fun , and u can walk away with money instead of spending it at the bar or a sporting event etc having fun and nothing to show for it. Atleast u have a chance of walking away with extra money, never gamble more than u are willing to lose that day
The issue is that there can be and are hot streaks and cold streaks that are randomly distributed over time in approximately equal over the long run. Sonif you go witha buddy one of you plays the Do side and the other the don't. You'll lose 2x as fast from the house edge, but variability will have been lost.
@@adamlynch9153 There have been claims about that, but not any real evidence. And don't you think casinos would change the rules about how the dice were tossed if that was actually true? If there was actually some way to legitimately beat the house, people would flock to it. Casinos would then have no choice but to adjust to prevent it. It is impossible to run a casino if there is a game where the odds favor the player. Historically, there have been two exceptions to this rule. For a long time, low-rent (sawdust joints) casinos ran bingo parlors. These often operated at a loss. But the bingo sessions were one hour one, one hour off. Players, typically, played other games (with a house edge) during the "down" hours. But now, bingo typically favors the house (by lowering the payouts). The other exception is blackjack, because it is the only game not based on purely random, independent results. Because once a card is played, it is not played again until the shoe is shuffled, a player can keep track of what's already been played and have a good guess at what is left to play. Because the house pays 3:2 on blackjacks, knowing that there are more aces and face cards coming increases the odds of a player getting a blackjack. Thus, the player raises his bet when those odds are in his favor. (The dealer is also more likely to get blackjacks at that point, but they only take your bet 1:1.) A player who can play perfect strategy, keep a running count, convert it to the true count, vary his play based on that count, and vary his bets when the count is favorable can turn the house advantage into one that favors the player. So, why doesn't everyone do it? First, it's hard. The vast majority of casino patrons are not "advantage players"; they're gamblers having fun. Second, it takes a lot of time to rack up a decent amount of winnings to make it worth that time. Third, it takes a bankroll so you can survive the inevitable losing streaks--even when the odds are slightly in your favor. So, why do casinos tolerate card counters? Well, they don't, really. First, they have a right to ask any player to not play. Even though card counting is not cheating, they can refuse play from anyone. So, they'll often "back off" a card counter if they detect it. (Normally, a dealer or a pit boss will notice the swings in betting.) Also, a lot of casinos have started switching blackjack payouts from 3:2 to 6:5. This renders the game unprofitable; the odds are now against the card counter and, thus, not worth playing. But the average gambler doesn't care about this distinction, so casinos get away with it. Baccarat is the other game with dependent events, but the payouts so favor the house it can't be beaten. Everything else--slots, craps, roulette, video poker, keno, sports book...everything--has a built-in house advantage. People who think they can beat those games with some sort of system are just fooling themselves. (Sports betting can be beaten, but the house advantage is so huge it's impossible except for the best experts who can see when the odds offered excessively favor one team over the other.)
@@richdouglas2311 you’re wrong about video poker. It’s one of three professional gambling categories. The other two being blackjack and in person poker.
Yes--- regress your bets a.k.a. Ronnie Regress versus Peter Press. Two of the worst bets on the table are the pass line and come bets. Both are "two-part bets" and they only pay you even money on the first part of the bet. Good Luck at the tables!
A great and necessary video as so many people play the IC or press to the moon. Like you I never press until I am risk free and even then I am pretty conservative only adding $5 each on the 4 and 10 when I hit a box number. I like the 2x return and by only pressing a small amount, it's less painful when big red shows up.
Few things I try to teach new players.. 1. Never play a line bet unless you are shooting its a contract bet that cannot be moved placed on or off and takes 2 hits of the same number to win. 2. Bets working on the comeout roll as there is no advantage/disadvantage to it 7 still has the same 1-6 chance but those other 30 combinations will still pay. 3. Regression is the only way to guarantee a win so bet big enough to win what your strategy costs to play. 4. Chip rack management.. Your portion of the rail has 4 sections use them to keep profits and buyin and current shooter money seperate. 5. Discipline.. go with enough money for x amount of shooters and once that's done GO HOME!! A 5 dollar profit is better than a 1000 dollar loss chasing more.
Don't work your place or buy bets on the Comeout. You have to make room for the 7's. Nobody ever had a 45 minute roll without some Comeout 7's. If you want to capitalize on a hot shooter, don't get greedy, and leave your bets off on the Comeout. One seven when they're working and you have to now hit at least 4 more numbers to make up for your greed.
The $135 across technique is one of my favorite strategies (I learned it from your Tik Tok account lol). It'll bite you sometimes, but it can also make you a good deal of money. I've tested this strategy a lot, and it's a lot of fun to play. Keep the great vids coming!
You can win BIG $$ at a table every one say is COLD!! Just bet DONT PASS/ 7&CRAPS BOTH PAY LIKE 7-1 / Hard 2 & 12 both pay 30-1 !! So just bet on the Shooter LOSING !! THATS IT!! IVE MADE 1000'S JUST beating DONT PASS!! thats it!! While the rest of table was beating they head on wall rolling 7out every 3 rolls .I even passed my roll 3x that night didnt want to change the flow!! .. JUST READ THE TABLE !!!
I use a similar strategy. I play 220 inside and after 1 hit regress to 110 inside. After the second hit just go with the same bet. I'm almost out of the hand (win $70+35=105 and you have $110 at risk) Next hit I will press 1 unit and I'm ahead. From this point I press at least 1 unit every time. I rarely move out to the 4 and 10 but if they are hitting I will throw a bet out there. This can work on a $5 table too. Start with $44 inside. After the first hit regress to $22 inside. After 2nd hit take the same bet. Now at this point you have to be a little more conservative on pressing. I alternate press and collect but after 2 hits you have won $21 (14+7) and have $22 in action so you are only risking $1.
I've started playing a modified version of the iron cross that's really paid off for me. I place the six and eight for $60 each. Hop the five for $10, ($5 each) and bet the field for $35. Almost EVERY ROLL, I racked AT LEAST $25!!! Sorry about using all caps but I was excited. LOL The guy who taught me this, calls it, "The Quarter Pounder with EZ". I happened to get on a table with a guy who rolled a MASSIVE roll and made $709 profit AFTER dealer and waitress tips. (I place bet for the dealers)
Gotta admit that 135 you demonstrated was an outlier. I counted about 17 rolls without a 7! Awesome video bro. And YES, Craps is the best and most exciting game at the casino!
@@brizzlex1919 I've had limited success with different strategies but the kicker boils down to the fact that statistically over time playing craps, black jack, roulette or any other type of Las Vegas style game you will lose. You can beat black jack but you'll get shut down pretty quickly by the pitboss etc.
Playing don't pass with laying maximum odds is mathematically the best way to play In my mind it was also better then playing the PASS LINE because if as a DON'T player you are on a good streak the table is cold and the game might break up forcing you to step away and not give back your winnings As we know the longer you play it's mathematically certain you will eventually lose
alot of solid points made here in this video to which i have said to myself many times. very good change in thought. the biggest point i took away from you here is the importance of clearing out your bet and replacing you bets back with only the house money. your biggest risk was only the original 2-3 rolls. from there your collecting. great idea.
The very first time I played craps, I won a bunch of money. It was in Atlantic City 28 years ago. I just did what the stickman told me to do and he made me a good chunk of change :)
You’ve got yourself a very very good video here to highlight critical factors for newcomers to craps. Very good video. Just the feeling the table point alone is worth its weight in gold. And those people that don’t take some winnings? I’ve seen that as well. Watched a guy drop 4 large in about 15 minutes because he was full pressing on quick 7 outs.
This vid is amazing!! Im deffinently tring the 135 regressing to 54 strategy next time im at a casino. Iv had 50:50 luck so far as far as winning and losing goes. Today I tried pressing ended up losing 300. Is what it is. Tring ti be a better shooter as well, not sure if dice setting is working in my favor yet. Great vid, keep making them I’ll keep watching them!
I won $600 on the field then lost $500 on it because i got gready. Thank you for the simple to understand the simple breakdown of why it's a bad idea. iit was only my second time playing yesterday
The best way to play the iron cross, is to press and either take down or regress. Start with $51 (3 units on the 5,6,8) amd $10 on the field. Each of the first 3 hits you press up the 5,6,8 then you got to either change your strategy by either pulling down or going 22 inside or something like that.
I like it… but I always start with 6& 8 o& feild bet, if 6 or 8 hits I replenish feild… if feild hits I use it for 5& 9 then wait for them to come in and place 10 & 4 then collect everything untill my initial investment is off the table and I run the press and collect strategy… I like the 135 across idea tho I’ll give it a go: thanks buddy. Great video for new players for sure; keep it up!
"On the long run the field bet is not a good bet" Good, now, extend that to the rest of the table and you'll see that all bets are bad bets. "Why beginners fail at craps?" Because it is a game explicitly designed to take your money over the long run. Maybe some people get lucky, some come and some go, but the house always wins in the end. That's how they stay in business.
Why not 6 numbers rather than 5 on the first 2 bets? That's another BS strategies. Blah blah blah... Have we all heard of the line "it's the roll of the dice"? I.e. it's the luck of the draw. It's ain't no strategies. This is the high risk game. Putting up $162 to win $35 or rarely $50. It's about managing the money AND no one knows when it is gonna be hot.
Let's say your strategy is only play pass line or don't pass with max odds behind. It takes the 1.41 pass and 1.40 don't pass house edge down below 1 percent. If you have proper bankroll explain how that is high risk at that point.
I've gone on heaters at the South Point, the old Stardust and the 4 Queens where I rolled the dice for about 3 hours each time, the last time being @ the 4 Queens New Year's Eve 2010 going into 2011. The table ran out of chips and they had to bring more to the table! Funny part is my mom (RIP) was next to me the entire time and never put $1 on the table becuz she didnt understand the game! That's how often those types of rolls come around lol glty!
Sir, I have been a dice dealer for 25+ years and I have to tell you that was well done. There is no magical way to shoot the dice. The only thing I would have added is in most casinos the shooter has to hit the back opposite the shooter. At my casino you must hit the back wall 99% of the time or the box can pass the dice. Rare but it happens. Anyway well done and smart. I must say most players don’t have the discipline to do what you showed. It’s very sound strategy. Yea we don’t call ourselves crap dealers it’s always dice.
It was a good video, but he left one really important thing. He talks about house money, if it in front of you it is your money. The house money is in the bank other than that good video
Mark, practiced your system for a while on Wizard of Odds. Currently taking a cruise so thought I would give it a try in real life. Bought in for $300 left with $2000 after about 3 hours. I'll go back tonight and see if the luck continues.
Love it. I just got back from my local BOAT! YOU know how our Catholic leaders must set an example ! An at least park around the back!! Lolololol??!!?? THAT was an JOKE!!??!! ANYWAYS!! As i left the HOLY WATER had BLESSED my night! The Lord ,lololol, had blessed my games tonight an i WON $5000!! So of course i donated to FATHER MARK right there in the parking lot , with cash!!!. Lolololol Well it keeps me entertained,an it keeps the gossip fresh at the struggling BAPTIST CHURCH , That just moved from East Texas, into a Very VERY CATHOLIC surrounding!! For GOD'S SAKE,there are 2 drive through liquor stores on the street the church is ! An a drive up daiquiri shop 2 blocks over. I think i may have got off topic. Soooooo. Thank you because of you .we won a little over 5k$ Profit!! I guess my question is when do u stop if you winning, an if you start losing when do you stop als?? I hate giving them back the money i just earned !! It really really hurts!!! I like to pull back my bets to my original buy in !! Put all other wins in pocket !! An play out those chips just like fresh that day!! If i win good! If i lose i lose !! Its just another day!! I use to get SO SO MAD ,an played with emotion an lost every time !! Hardest thing to learn EVER!!!
I’ve played craps 2 times in a casino and 1st time I didn’t know what I was doing and ended up still making a little profit, 2nd time I turned 40 dollars in to 126 so happy I got lucky but now it’s time to actually learn so I can win real money
Yeah you’re spot on with this video. Former crap dealer and gambler here and you are correct about reading the table and changing up strategies. One more thing many players don’t understand is that you don’t have to have action on the table for every single roll of the dice. If it’s bad or the next shooter had a good roll his last time out…sit back and wait for him versus hoping this guy who shot a point then crapped out next roll last time is gonna turn on a heater this time.
Same strategy I use but at a bigger scale. Anyone can win on a hot table, but those that can win on a cold table are the ones that can do this as a living.
Thanks! But since I'm cheap and careful - I'm gonna try your strategy but take down everything on anything that hits other than 6 & 8 - once I spread $10 (and $12 on 6/8) across the 2nd time - I'll leave money on 6 & 8 if they hit - but take everything off 4,5,9 or 10 if those pay off. Regardless of a HOT shooter hitting numbers - I only want to go so long before taking stuff down -especially if it already hit. Appreciate that interesting high risk start idea. Fun to do if ahead.
My first attempt at craps was in the hallway of the TDY barracks at NAS Keflavik back in 1976, and in about 20 minutes I lost $150. I haven't played since.
I just went to Vwgas for the forst time last week. First time I have ever gambled, let alone played craps. I made $740 betting strictly the pass line, taking odds, and betting the field. Glad I saw this video breaking down that I was just extremely lucky and didn't win because I was actually betting wisely.
You were betting wisely (except for the field). The pass line and odds have the lowest house edge (besides don't pass) of all bets at the craps table...
Nice….get your money off is a great tip ….read the table…is another one …..confidence is another ….have a time session….know when to walk away….bet bet bet Have fun …you goal is to play with the house money
Good video Mark. I have been playing the dice table for over 46 years. My friends all think it's a complicated game. Not if you make a few simple bets. BTW - seems there are 3 types of tables: hot, cold and choppy (win-lose, win-lose etc). These are the only bets I make: pass line with odds and place the 6 and 8. I have played the don't pass before, and you can win on it also. I ignore all other bets and it often works for me. The key to tell any player is if you win some money $ 50 - $ 100 or maybe $ 150 or higher, leave the table with your winnings and maybe leave the casino. A table can be hot, but it will always to return to cold !
Well said. I use this same method. I play pass, don't pass, come, don't come and I place the 6 and 8. Sll of these bets have a housevedge of no more thsn 1.5 per cent or less. I always take or give odds because the casino has no edge on the odds bet. When I get ahead about 20-30 % of my buy-in (usually $200) I leave and go do something else.
Man, Iron Cross people would hate seeing me at a table... I am a "wrong bettor" and I *LOVE* hearing my magic words... "Seven, Line away" I do offsetting pass/don't pass come/don't come then lay odds. I lose one bet at a time, and win all at once and can leave the table after a big win.
There is no such thing as a "hot" or "cold" table. Each toss of the dice is a random event that you cannot predict. Yes, there are streaks that occur, but they occur randomly without your ability to predict them. (That's the hot and cold stuff.) We can only determine whether a table is "hot" or "cold" in retrospect, where it does no one any good.
@@richdouglas2311 I understand what you’re saying, and in the long run things will even out to the averages. However just like in basketball, there are runs. If you haven’t seen a cold table you haven’t been playing craps long enough. I’ve been at tables where the dice has gone around the table twice without anyone making a point, and I’ve also been at tables where they had a 41 roll and a 27 roll within 3 shooters, and nobody had a roll less than 8. Yes, hindsight is 20/20, but cold tables can be easiky judged by asking players who are already at the table and looking at everyone’s mood. Yes the table can flip, but I start out on the don’t come until I am proven wrong.
@@iptvclub1575 Yes, of course there are "runs." I said that. But you cannot tell in advance what will happen. The only way a table is hot or cold is to look back on what has happened. Each new role is a random, independent event. Thus, it is equally "hot" and "cold" with each roll. A "hot" table can suddenly turn "cold" and vice versa, with no one being able to predict when. In craps, past performance CANNOT in any we predict future events. Ever. You're kidding yourself if you think otherwise. Just one of the self-delusions gamblers entertain because they simply cannot control nor predict the outcome.
Yea I would favor maybe a Rack and Press alternating strategy and yea the Iron Cross is for sure not the best strat for Craps its easy but risky especially for a lower bankroll player. Play the Pass line and the 8 and 6 if your a newb with odds on points behind the line for 8s and 6s. Pocket your winnings and you could probably do alright. If you wanted to get fancy you could then maybe place on the 5 and 9 for 1 unit if you hit a few numbers.
Best strategy in craps is to play the pass line and come bets with max odds (this allows true odds payouts not casino BS reduced payouts). Nearly eliminates the house edge entirely. You need a big bankroll tho to withstand a negative swing and suggest playing at lowest possible limits so you can maximize odds betting. If you do this properly you can play for hours and have a great time
@@scrim67 - Actually, he's wrong. The Don't Pass is around one 100th of a percent better than the Pass Line. Read 'Scarne On Dice', he breaks it all down in an understandable way with figures and shows exactly what the deal is on every bet. John Scarne was the best.
You mean you don’t win as much right? Flat bet or your original bet will pay even money. You have to lay the odds as statistically you are a 2 to 1 favorite as far as winning vs. losing. So if you lay the odds after the point you put down 2 chips to win 1 chip.
I've always wanted to play craps but seems intimidating. You make it seem so easy. I know all the times I've been in a casino that's where the action is.
I'm new to playing craps on live table, been playing it on a screen. I like your 135 across strategy. Will definitely practicing that method. Can someone explain the press and how much you press?
The only thing Matt forgot to mention is place bets are off on the come out roll. The come out roll is when you are trying to establish the point. Great job explaining Mark. The take one press one is a solid strategy. If the roll is hot enough you won’t be standing there with a $30 6 after the 6 has hit 10 times lol.
I have to tell you that I went to the casino yesterday, with a $200 bank roll. I played the "one hit wonder" and the "don't pass line". And I lost $100. BUT I WAS ABLE TO PLAY FOR 3 AND A HALF HOURS ON THAT $100. Man, I blew more than that on movies at the theater, per month, prior to the pandemic. Thank you for showing me how to play those strategies.
Damn right.. I lost $100 tonight too but played for 3 hours and lots of entertainment. That same $100 in a slot machine would have been gone in 5 minutes.
I do an iron cross with a twist, but only when im shooting. I put 24 on the 6 and 8, 20 on the 5, 18 on the 9, 15 on the 4 and 10, then a 10 dollar field. 5 dollar horn for every one i see. It pays, but only when i shoot, I guarantee 10 rolls minimum.
great video! new to craps, been noticing the laws of averages with the random chance in the game. seems that the field does get hot, and when it does, thats when you can bet or bet bigger, but until then betting sporadically hasn't been the worst idea. betting just the pass line everytime... seems like a eventual loser from what im seeing. sure cover the 6 &8 for the extra 10 chances. looks like a big part of the game is to just be in the moment and know that the dice are hot or cold. when hot, take calculated risk, when cold, stay humble. dont take on risk you dont understand. it also seems like when on a hot roll, its okay to say this roll has been hot for a long time, and pull some money down, bid red will show up, it always does.
Every single bet on a craps table is eventually a loser. Every single bet has a house edge, and every single additional bet you place increases the house edge. There is no statistical basis for the idea that the field can get "hot." The odds that the field will hit on any given roll remains 5:4 no matter what. The house edge on the field is much higher than the pass line. You will lose on the field 5 times for every 4 times you win. On the pass, you will lose 251 times for every 244 times you win. That's nearly as good as a coin flip and its the best basic bet you can place on a craps table.
Holy shit. My old man passed 17:08 away craps (7) years ago. I didn't discover until way too late that this game was the only thing I've ever seen him passionate about. He was a Roller. As a former dice dealer of 18 yrs you explained quite well. Good job
as a former dealer you agreeing with pretty much ANYTHING this guy said is nonsense and you should feel terrible for lying to promote his channel for whatever reason you are using to do it.
Thanks for an easy explanation. Simplifying and breaking down is what new players need . In the beginning craps can be a very intimidating game. I love craps. I even learned a little more from your video. Great job!
Thank you for the tip! I used your system and it worked beautifully! I managed to make $450 in Vegas this past weekend!! Thank you again!
Steve
Playing craps on a cruise ship is fun. There are not any rules on rolling the dice.
February 6 update
Just turned $400 into $900. 😁
Not very good rich, you will lose in the long run, sounds like your cheep.

Pocketing the winnings works for me and keeping my but in on my rack til it's gone.
Yeah, it's not philosophy. Everyone gambler knows what "house" money is.
whoa - this video is phenomenal. at first glance, i was like this is not what i wanted. then when u started to speak the truth and break everything down -- GREAT STUFF
This was my first time seeing how craps is played and I learned so much. I’ll keep learning but feel confident enough to give it a go. Awesome video.
Every bet on the table has an edge for the house. The more bets you place, the bigger the house's edge. It doesn't matter how you combine your bets, each additional bet gives the house additional edge.
BIG FACTS!
Exactly, each probability is independent of each other. The house's edge is easy to look up. Don't Pass with Free Odds bet is statistically the best chance of winning.
Best avatar ever
@tylerh1648 you're just losing slower up there on your high horse
And that is why the best strategy is to only play the odds behind the pass line. That is a straight odds bet. No house edge. Best bet in the casino.
You dawg I love you! Lol! Been playing for years but you're the first that has ever broken it down that clearly!

Great strategy and fun to watch. I'm gonna' try this next time I'm at the table.
thank you for the love. let me know how you do next time you go to table
Awesome! I’m ready to actually gives this strategy a try! It will be first time in a casino environment!
I appreciate you taking the time to make this video I don’t play because I don’t want to lose a bunch of money to learn how
Every single throw of the dice in craps has an expected value below what is being bet.
There’s that one guy who perfected the consistent dice throw to where he’d get the outcome he wanted like a high percentage of the time.
Mark loved this video! Seeing the odds broken down the way you did really helped me understand why the field could be a bad bet. Also the pressing...
thank you so much
A great and necessary video as so many people play the IC or press to the moon.
60 =6 60 = 8 25 =5 = 145 ?
Some of the best advice ever "read the table - strategize accordingly" cool stuff!
I alternate press and collect but after 2 hits you have won $21 (14+7) and have $22 in action so you are only risking $1.
i can dig it
Man, stop playing like a scaredy cat. Get out there and put it ALL across the numbers and ROLL THEM BONES.

LOL
The guy who taught me this, calls it, "The Quarter Pounder with EZ". I happened to get on a table with a guy who rolled a MASSIVE roll and made $709 profit AFTER dealer and waitress tips. (I place bet for the dealers)
Mark, I’ve been playing Craps a long time and enjoy your videos. I always learn something. Thanks buddy!

Couldn't have come at a better time either right? Right when he's demonstrating a high risk strat.
@@brizzlex1919 I've had limited success with different strategies but the kicker boils down to the fact that statistically over time playing craps, black jack, roulette or any other type of Las Vegas style game you will lose. You can beat black jack but you'll get shut down pretty quickly by the pitboss etc.
Thanks Mark... I typically like to play against the shooter and this strategy will help me play when the table is hot
no problem man thank you for the luv
Playing don't pass with laying maximum odds is mathematically the best way to play
In my mind it was also better then playing the PASS LINE because if as a DON'T player you are on a good streak the table is cold and the game might break up forcing you to step away and not give back your winnings
As we know the longer you play it's mathematically certain you will eventually lose
alot of solid points made here in this video to which i have said to myself many times. very good change in thought. the biggest point i took away from you here is the importance of clearing out your bet and replacing you bets back with only the house money. your biggest risk was only the original 2-3 rolls. from there your collecting.

As a beginner this is a great easy to follow video based on common sense.

Thanks for telling why I rarely bet thr iron cross and field bet. Never has worked like well like odds and pressing my bets.
No problem
The best way to play the iron cross, is to press and either take down or regress. Start with $51 (3 units on the 5,6,8) amd $10 on the field. Each of the first 3 hits you press up the 5,6,8 then you got to either change your strategy by either pulling down or going 22 inside or something like that.
So, I follow your strategy and fail less. GREAT IDEA!
This was great brother thanks, will be checking out your other craps content!

Im a new player and just had a lot of success on the field...it looks so great..thanks for your help I learned a ton of tips
A quick search on wizard of odds for the iron cross shows a house edge of 1.136%. You're better off just betting the 6 and 8
You had me at "BBQ FREAK". LOL, great video
I love this strategy. I never played anything like it!!
I've lived in Las Vegas for 10 years and always went with 6 and 8
I like it… but I always start with 6& 8 o& feild bet, if 6 or 8 hits I replenish feild… if feild hits I use it for 5& 9 then wait for them to come in and place 10 & 4 then collect everything untill my initial investment is off the table and I run the press and collect strategy… I like the 135 across idea tho I’ll give it a go: thanks buddy. Great video for new players for sure; keep it up!
I like the way you roll and thank you for the love
Thanks for simplifying the explanation for original investment recuperation, then play on the winnings with no additional investment.

I like this style of betting!! Saving this video, thanks!!
That's why it's called gambling...but craps gives you better odds than the other games .

Thank you! I have never seen anyone explain the game as simply as you did here. Will definitely try the 135 method very soon.
The strategies increase or decrease the money you have at risk. To say there are none doesn't make sense.
Let's say your strategy is only play pass line or don't pass with max odds behind. It takes the 1.41 pass and 1.40 don't pass house edge down below 1 percent. If you have proper bankroll explain how that is high risk at that point.
I've been shooting in the hood,, and AC,, you have shown me a lot,, thank you 💯

That's how often those types of rolls come around lol glty!
thank is how they get you (and me)
Sir, I have been a dice dealer for 25+ years and I have to tell you that was well done.

Dude. Amazing. No offense. Dumbed it down for me and got it 100%. Keep makin the vids. That was awesome
Yeah you’re spot on with this video. Former crap dealer and gambler here and you are correct about reading the table and changing up strategies. One more thing many players don’t understand is that you don’t have to have action on the table for every single roll of the dice. If it’s bad or the next shooter had a good roll his last time out…sit back and wait for him versus hoping this guy who shot a point then crapped out next roll last time is gonna turn on a heater this time.
great comment bro. you are so right
That was a well explained video. I love Craps and you’ve opened my eyes to a fantastic strategy for a hot table.
I used this strategy yesterday at jacks casino in cleveland had my lady friend shoot the dice I won over $800 We couldn’t believe it. Thanks a lot.
You are most welcome
Same strategy I use but at a bigger scale. Anyone can win on a hot table, but those that can win on a cold table are the ones that can do this as a living.
The way you rollling it they would kick you out talking bout TOUCH THE BACKWALL 🤣🤣
Not sure how algorithm got me here, but damn that was a cool ass video !

Definitely playing craps next time I'm at a casino. This looks fun
it is the best go for it
I like your style I must try thanks for keeping it real
Ah man i have been there
loving this! Maybe they should call it the iron comp's strategy? You can play it conservative, move money, lose move money, but, get perks?
I like the content bro. Thank you. You are entertaining as well!
I just went to Vwgas for the forst time last week. First time I have ever gambled, let alone played craps.
I made $740 betting strictly the pass line, taking odds, and betting the field. Glad I saw this video breaking down that I was just extremely lucky and didn't win because I was actually betting wisely.
As long as you had fun you won. the extra money is a bonus
You were betting wisely (except for the field). The pass line and odds have the lowest house edge (besides don't pass) of all bets at the craps table...
Changing Iron to Steel only takes but to change your side and odds to come down with odds... You'll get closer
Nice….get your money off is a great tip ….read the table…is another one …..confidence is another ….have a time session….know when to walk away….bet bet bet
Have fun …you goal is to play with the house money
Bro..great stuff..like your vibe and advice
Man, Iron Cross people would hate seeing me at a table... I am a "wrong bettor" and I *LOVE* hearing my magic words... "Seven, Line away"
I do offsetting pass/don't pass come/don't come then lay odds. I lose one bet at a time, and win all at once and can leave the table after a big win.
Great video, you addressed a lot. The big one you missed is being afraid of playing the darkside. If it’s a cold table don’t be afraid of the Don’ts!
I feel that
Yea I would favor maybe a Rack and Press alternating strategy and yea the Iron Cross is for sure not the best strat for Craps its easy but risky especially for a lower bankroll player. Play the Pass line and the 8 and 6 if your a newb with odds on points behind the line for 8s and 6s. Pocket your winnings and you could probably do alright. If you wanted to get fancy you could then maybe place on the 5 and 9 for 1 unit if you hit a few numbers.
It's all about good energy on the table. Be the good energy and you'll be amazed at how much easier it is to think clearly without over thinking
I love the enthusiasm!
If you do this properly you can play for hours and have a great time
i feel this. but not my favorite way to play
Back when the Horseshoe offered 100X on the odds bet, the house edge was almost nothing if you stayed away from the shit bets.
This is the smartest comment on this thread
Any other strategy is mathematically worse
@@scrim67 - Actually, he's wrong. The Don't Pass is around one 100th of a percent better than the Pass Line. Read 'Scarne On Dice', he breaks it all down in an understandable way with figures and shows exactly what the deal is on every bet. John Scarne was the best.
@@skinovtheperineum1208 it’s fun to root with the group tho that’s a big part of the fun for me haha
This is the best youtube video ever made
I didn't lose big money as a beginner because I learned everything about the game before playing. No need to jump in blindly.
Same here. I think I watch about 40 different videos before actually touching the table lol
I read one comprehensive article, but 40 different videos works too...
Keep making content. Great teacher.
I’ve always been a don’t pass guy who loves when the point is 10 or 4; statistically, it’s a great bet, but doesn’t pay as much.
You mean you don’t win as much right? Flat bet or your original bet will pay even money. You have to lay the odds as statistically you are a 2 to 1 favorite as far as winning vs. losing. So if you lay the odds after the point you put down 2 chips to win 1 chip.
Absolutely love 6, hard 6, big 6&8 always Yo 11
I've always wanted to play craps but seems intimidating. You make it seem so easy. I know all the times I've been in a casino that's where the action is.
Just found your page! Love playing craps love learning new ways! Could you do a video on that $135 strategy
I'm new to playing craps on live table, been playing it on a screen. I like your 135 across strategy. Will definitely practicing that method. Can someone explain the press and how much you press?
Good luck! the first step is to go for it. it is so much fun
You will lose a ton of money betting on every number like that
The only thing Matt forgot to mention is place bets are off on the come out roll.
Right I use a come betting strategy to just disregard the short rolls and play for the long rolls.
i feel that bro. yes it does suck to lose but to play that long is a big plus
Great video. Just need 7 not to come out for 2-3 rolls in the beginning and the rest is gravy
