      If you live in huge and exclusive subdivisions. You can achieve whatever you are looking for cause they can afford the modern and adoptable lifestyle. But due to normal circumstances as a 3rd World country. Filipino knows how to sets priorities and remains living in cultural practices.
      As foreigner. You should have to adopt and learn differences on norms, beliefs, foods, weather, culture, religion, barriers and practices. Everytime i go in some places. Local or overseas. I tried to enjoy the experience of being a foreigner to foreign land. Be thankful and appreciative for the opportunity.

Just be sure to have your fully vaccinated card from the big 4 if necessary (Astra, Pfizer, Moderna, Janssen) as that is their preference now for tourist visa.

      @@missplainjane3905 well my 1 week stay on my first trip, I got lost in Kyoto for a good 3 hours until I heard some people speaking in tagalog and I asked them for directions on the nearest train station that's tokyo-bound so i can go back to the hotel. second trip, a couple of binge drinking around roponggi and visited some shrines in asakusa. the funny thing is, even after all the street food and ramen that I ate, I still lost weight because of walking. those drunken nights at roponggi make you thank an open ramen shop on late nights. suggest you plan your trip and have an itinerary ready. a week of stay is not enough and i definitely suggest 2 to 3 weeks of stay if you plan on checking out everything.

    I’m so glad you enjoy your study in the Philippines.
    Universities hold high standards of teaching which attracts students all over Asia and even from the Middle East countries.
    Your English is really good for a starter 👍. Philippines is really a fun country to study.
    Freedom of expression, individuality is universal. You can express your opinion without fear.
    I’m also impressed how fast you’re learning the English language 👍.

    Living in the US for the past four decades and moving to Manila a few months ago, I miss taking long warm baths at bathtubs. Bathtubs are a luxury in the Philippines. It's just the norm that taking a bath using a bathtub takes up more resources than a shower. A water heater is regarded as a luxury as well.

    I've been here in Japan for 2 years now.
    Here's the things that surprised me most:
    * Trains are like open toilets, you don't want to make any noise.
    * If the train is crowded: 1.) PUT your bag infront of you. 2.) If you're a guy, make sure your hands are above waist level. When the train wobbles, and it will, and you accidentally touched someone's lower area, there's a good chance that people will think you're a 置換.(Chikan - Molester) (セクハラ Seku Hara - Sexual Harrassment)
    * The amount of times I got asked "What is your job?" whenever I get invited to someone's home.
    * SO MUCH PAPER.
    * SO MUCH COINS. If you're a guy, bring a wallet with a coin purse.
    * SO MUCH WALKING.
    * The price of Pets.
    * HUGE vegetables and fruits.
    * The price of vegetables and fruits.
    * 貧乏ゆすり (Binbou Yusuri / lit. Poor Man's Shaking) - Involuntary leg shaking is frowned upon.
    * 1 spray of perfume= perfect. 2 sprays= too much. 3 sprays= people will avoid you.
    * If you have tattoos, big or small, prepare to be stared at. (and not in a nice way)
    * Convenience stores have Halo-Halo. They suck.
    * If you have runny nose, you better sniff it back up. DO NOT BLOW your nose in public.
    * DO NOT Point with your fingers.
    * The first heart attack every foreigner experiences here: 緊急地震速報 (Kinkyuu Jishin Sokuhou) Early Earthquake Warning System, EVERY phone will get it. The alarm sound doesn't help at all. On the contrary, it actually induces more panic.
    * 花粉症 (Kafunshou) Pollen Allergy.
    * Vending Machines in every corner.
    * Dental Clinics in every corner.
    There's a lot more, but have fun exploring them. Manner & Etiquette is just something you'll learn, in most cases, the hard way. "Why are people staring at me? The heck did I do?"
    まなちゃん、母国の文化や習慣などのことをネットのみんなに伝えてくれてありがとうございます。愛羅武勇。 笑笑

    Bathtub are more common in hotels or rich or sometimes just an optional thing in someones bathroom but usually we don’t really use it..coz most the people here take bath in the morning and no time to stay long so bathtub is useless but we also take bath in evening after work we call it half bath, we don’t wash our hair just our whole body but we still not stay long in the bathroom..

    The wifi is really slow TT but it really doesn't interfer much with contacting someone from abroad.
    Tuition fees are definitely not cheap, at least for me :'>
    And bathtubs are not common in the Philippines, for me, since I really don't see them in any houses. Having a bathtub in a house is more of a shock to me, hahaha!
    And yes, the water is cold, especially at night. That's why people boil water in a kettle, pour it in the bucket or 'timba', and add some cold water to it to make it warm.

      Normal na kasi yang tubig sa atin kasi mainit ang panahon sa atin sa kanila kasi lagi talaga gumagamit ng mainit kaya kahit nasa pinas sila malamig parin sa kanila ang tubig kasi nasanay silang may halong mainit. Gaya dito sa h.k kahit tag init dito gumagamit parin ng heater. Dati bago palang ako dito sa tag lamig lang ako gumagamit ng heater pero now kahit tag init gumagamit parin ako ng heater kasi nasanay katawan ko sa may halong init kaya kahit tag init pag di ako gumamit ng heater giniginaw ako. Na dati pag gumamit ako ng heater sa tag init hindi ko kaya ang init ng tubig kahit kunting init lang naman. Kaya sa kanila malamig na sa pakiramdam nila ang tubig na walang heater

    As a Filipino it is also weird for us to use bath tubs.
    We take bath every morning before going to work or school so we don't have time to relax in a bath tub.
    We always rush because of the traffic.
    Maybe it is because Japanese take bath in the evening after work or school while Filipinos take bath in the morning.

    My teachers table too, has so many pictures especially if there student class is so memorable, they'll stick it to their desk, because they love that class section.

    Yeah I am a filipino. And I do relate to all of these especially sa the slow wi-fi or internet hahahaha 🤣 but here in philippines, instead of using wi-fi sometimes, we use or buy like load or data because sometimes it's more convenient, hehe, just a little advice. Thanks Mana and Everyone!! ❤️❤️

    "always chatting"
    That's very true. 😂 You could even find out government secrets on conversations. You could even find out what people at your home do just by chatting with your neighbours 😂😂

    The WiFi speed here in philippines is so slow, there may have been an improvement but, I think the internets have been becoming more faster than PLDT (also called PLDC for a very low WiFi Speed that you can get disconnected from a game) But still it's not much fast, I hope Philippines have a better WiFi connection in the future, Stay safe!!!💖💖

    Ahahaha, you are absolutely right with the WiFi! Internet speed really sucks big time. I live in NCR but even here, the internet is only half decent most of the time ( trust me it can drive you crazy especially when you are working from home). Anyway, good job ladies - I was smiling the whole time watching your video. Keep up the good work!😁

    I think Metro Manila has the fastest internet speed. I'm in Quezon City and watching your videos doesn't buffer at all. I can upload and download quickly. By the way I'm always using data (Smart). Because our Wifi (Globe) are slow. Using data was better.
