Sadly, we, Filipinos, must practise that sense of URGENCY OF TIME
Indeed sir theres nothing to be proud of filipino time
True we always like to meet on time talaga because we dont want to waste their energy and time
Who does that, with all the terrible road traffic, Filipinos now actually arrive too early, lol.
but between time n trafic i think trafic got the most of people time.
Big check
japanese are always curious about our culture, but we are curious about japanese culture i want to know it >.
We love each other 🥰🥰
it's really really nice
Chitanda Eru would be very excited about this.
RIGHT? HAHAHHAHA

I love the discipline of Japan but I don't like the seriousness. Too intense. Filipinos can be too chill that we can end up being lazy. A balance of both cultures is ideal.
Same with Communism

I’m Filipino but I think my personality fits more on Japanese culture.
That’s why Japan is progressive. You value time.
Watch Japan Abroad too their channel is great and they have good video content particularly about Japanese.
Filipinos:mama wait lang (nagmml na pala hahahahha)
Right, but the downside it that they are one of the countries with the highest stress. People are always busy and life is fast paced. It's opposite with the Philippines but the downside is, Filipinoes tend to be less ambitious and easily satisfied so a lot of people are laid back and not very motivated.
Kai Zen
That downside can be easily solved. I’d take progress with stress.
@@redsoil5 sure, live how you want to live. no culture or lifestyle is better than the other if the person living it is satisfied and happy, what more is there to say.
"OTW" famous Filipino reply, but still in the house getting ready 😆

It's good to see foreigners praise my country, Philippines. It makes me feel like a proud Filipino.
I can hear Mana keep saying "Calture shuck"😂 CUTE VOICES.
Japanese are culturally polite and disciplined while we Filipinos are so carefree and happy that we even spit on public places. It's mostly our elders who are both giving us bad and good influence, but hey at least we are living content and *Masaya* even with the hardships going on.
When I first heard the word "time", I was laughing af cuz that's the number one difference between the Philippines and Japan. Filipinos have what we called Filipino time 🤣 it's a Filipino culture that setting official time but arriving late or delayed hahaha I think, the reason why Filipino has this kind of culture because most of Filipinos have habit of "petiks" (It's a Filipino slang word of procrastinator, being sluggish or chillin') and also traffic jam are one of the factor why Filipinos couldn't handle their time properly
However, as a Filipino, sometimes I was annoyed because my friend(s) didn't arrive on time; While waiting, I was bothering if they will come or not but thanks, they came after I waited for a minutes or even worst an hour(s) 😰😌 but I admit sometime I came late like what they did 😅 but as we have that culture, we adapt it and quite common thing here in our country (even though it's a bad practice and has some negative impact in our lifestyle)
Actually, Filipinos are so really amazed regarding to Japanese time management because I, myself, imagine how my time expectations arrived exactly. I also admit that one of my envious thing in Japanese people is they are puctual and they manage their time properly , not only as individual Japanese but also as a whole ( when it comes to transportation like trains, buses etc they arrived on time, exact time. I heard, some headlines of Japanese newspapers are talking about the apology of a train company because their train arrived late. I was totally wow! really shocked, amazed and thinking "Does it really exist?")
But after all, despite of having some factors ( like forever traffic jam everywhere in the ph lol jk) that Filipinos affect their being punctuality , Filipinos are trying their best to get on time because we value time and we also believe "Time is Gold".
"on my way" but really just stepping out of the shower.
accurate🤣
On my way... Nakahilata sa higaan naglalaro ng mlbb hahaha
I think most filipinos relate to that, including me.
Oyeee 😂
True
Very Filipino when we say "we're on our way" when in reality we've just woke up on our bed 😅😅😅
Hehehe!!! 🤣💕❤️
Wow! 😱 Thanks for noticing me Mana chan 😍
Actually, the Filipino time is actually a value we inherit from the Spaniards. Try to visit places like Mexico, Colombia and even Spain. They also have that sense of time. I believe that before the arrival of the Spaniards we are also pretty strict with time management but when they came we adopted their values.
On the way to bathroom hahaha
I think in PH School culture here is like Anime School Culture specially in High School..
Yep
Hi I'm a Filipino! Thanks for promoting the Philippines!!!!🥰🥰🥰 Philippines also love Japan and your culture. Especially your animes!!!🥰🥰🥰
Proud filipino here 🙋♀️ thank you for being honest to our country 😁
Im Filipino but i act like a Japaneese. Many people always think im a Japaneese because of looks and personality
Fun fact filipino got the filipino time from the Spain spanish are also late all the time 🤣🤣🤣 and also OTW (ON THE WAY) AND ( OO TEKA WAIT) 🤣
Padre Damaso so Proud
Wait saglit lang. Hahaha :)
stop shifting your bad habits from the spanish.
Skl,
The word “Teka” actually came from the Japanese? It came from the Japanese word, “ていーうか” (teiuka) which also means “wait” or “wait a sec”.
Just thought i should share lol
@Chika the vietnamese also have the same habits, also malaysians and thai. indonesians too. and it they have nothing to do with spanish culture
We are family oriented in the Philippines.
I am a filipino but when it come’s to time management, I am very strict about it. I meet a few japanese friends here in negros island as I noticed, and as expected they are so punctual. Mabuhay japan and philippines!
Mana san always giving us good vibes and every video she uploaded was so gorgeous ❤️
"Filipino Time" sometimes have different causes why it happens. The most common one tho' is waking up late😅😅😅 if the agreed time was in the morning but if the agreed time was a little bit in the afternoon then variables starts to set in🤔🤔 like hard to find transportation 'coz there are too many passengers, accidents happen on the road, road emergencies (ie. sudden machine malfunctions for transportations, tires blasted and etc.) and many more. The usual "alibi" of Filipinos for me, which is the traffic" is not that valid for me tho' (sorry my fellow Filipinos🥺🥺). It can happen to you one time but after that, you cannot give it as an excuse again. It's like you know that your area is traffic prone but you still stay up late at night watching Netflix or Viu or grinding at online games,🤭🤭 you will really end up late again no matter what you do.🤭🤭 Yes traffic is a big problem in the Philippines but with proper precautions and time management, it cannot be your kryptonite.🤘🤘
Nice video our cute Mana!❤❤🥰🥰 Thank you for sharing your thoughts about some culture shocks that Philippines and Japan have, I always watch your videos and I love your cute, jolly and happy going attitude! "Be in the moment" "live by the day" i hear that a lot in Ph.
sa pilipinas lang sure ka?
@@rassalas4638 may sinabe ba ko na sa Pinas lang? I said I hear it A LOT in PH, not in PH alone.
Filipino should learn english to a deeper extent. Shallow understanding leads to misunderstanding. That's strawman right there
Its so good when u hear mana voice😍
Please keep on doing your videos! I really love this content
Wow... so proud of you mana,... And thanks for appreciating our culture.. love your videos very informative and fun to watch..
We love you also ate Mana😊😍💖..Filipina fan💕
The family reunion includes my grandparents siblings, everyone's partners, all their children and grandsons/granddaughters or cousins and second cousins, so all in all that's 50 or more people. But that's only on my mother's side, there's another family reunion on my father's side so that's another 50+ people 😆
Elegato Caprice if it is also a party, if you invited 100 People add aonther 50 plates because there are people who are invited by the incited.
Filipino happy!
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
BOI YOU HAVE 100 FRENS😂😂😂😂
we are not serious in studying we believe in miracles
I only have one brother, but I have a lot of relatives and friends. My dad's 20 member family is in Iloilo, Visayas, Philippines. Then my mom have so many family members! Alot of them live in different places. So right now, I live in Negros Occidental, Visayas, Philippines. Whenever there is an event like Christmas, new year, a family member birthday, Halloween and more events, all of my relatives come to our place, even tho they live so far from us, and also my friends I met online or my cousins come too. So it gets easily crowded in my place. So yeah, it's normal for Filipino's to have a lot of family members. I love how alot of people all around the world are so curious about our culture, well we Filipino's are also curious on other countries culture too! But we don't worry about time, I mean here in my hometown, we celebrate birthday at night and sometimes in the afternoon, because we prepare at morning. I am really a deep sleeper because like I woked up at like 7:00 or 8:00 am.
It's called "Filipino Time" that's why we're late HHAHAHA.
true hahaha
true true true HAHAHA
My wife has lived in the U.S. for 48 years and is still on Filipina Time.

Hi there, new subscriber here. As someone who is of mixed culture myself (Born in HK but I grew up and lived in the Philippines) What you guys had pointed out is very true. Although, as what other people here had mentioned, every society has their own ups and downs.
One thing I deeply appreciate about Filipinos is how positive they can be. Situations which would cause a breakdown for most people, Filipinos? they just suck it up and move on with their life. I admire their optimism about things and positive outlook in life.
As for Japan, the thing I really admire about you guys is how polite and respectful you are. No matter if its a person of different culture or race.
Anyways, all the best to you and your channel. Stay safe always.
