Glad to see you are keeping the shop in the garage still! Smart man. I've seen way too many people go out and get all tied up in expensive leases for shops, trying to make the "big time" too fast. Those costs are unfortunately sent down the line to the consumer. Keeping the shop realistic is financially wise!
I know what you mean and it’s definitely nice been home, but I’m not gonna lie it would definitely be nice to have more space. Plus I have a few strategies that I would use to pay for the shop without raising prices, the most important being not getting a shop that I can’t easily afford.

Yo grind that seem down throw some seem sealer/bondo in it and repaint. No one can see up there anyway but you definitely want to seal it.

I would start sanding it with 80 grit sand paper before using a grinder. Too much heat would cause a hole. If you do have holes, use fiber glass, sand that down and then use body filler, sand with 80 and finish it with 120. Prep the area for primer or paint or both. Don’t leave it exposed. Body filler will absorb moisture. Sand in an x pattern if you can , this technique takes makes sanding faster and let the paper do the work.

@@blowingdiesel When you clear the paint off of the drip rail, put new seam sealer down and it should be good to go. Mine did the same thing.
