15 x 34 is 510 so after 34 jumps of the fence you would have seen very close to 512 Eevees. My point is you get to odds after 34 jumps of the fence at max boosted odds. 91 jumps without charm since you are guaranteed to see 15 Eevees everytime. That make sense?
The odds for the eevee still don’t change it’s just you are hitting odds faster, the way you phrased it in the video came across as 1 in 100 eevees would be shiny which is not the case. It’s every time you jump the fence you get 15 checks hitting the normal odds faster. Still a great video/guide for fast hunting.
That's my bad if it came off that way, but that isn't what I meant. I'll try to word things better and make things clearer in the future. Appreciate the compliment!
An even better way to reset outbreaks is to just set your switch time back by 1 minute. You don’t even have to close out of the game to do it. Eating a level 2 encounter sandwich for the outbreak you want and resetting in an area where that Pokémon can spawn also increases odds. Did over 200 resets for an umbreon outbreak, went to the psychic town, ate a level 2 dark sandwich and got the outbreak in 6 resets
Dang 200 to 6 is a huge difference. At the time resetting the game was just a personal preference, but I totally understand how much of a time difference time skips can make now. They really help you get resources when doing raids. I don't even think you have to change the time. You just go in the time and press okay and things still change
If you eat a normal encounter sandwich before resetting dates you'll have better odds of an eevee outbreak. Also, that's not how odds work. Each of the 15 roll at the same odds so you can't group them like that. Each eevee isn't rolling at 1/34 odds. Otherwise great job at finding the best eevee spot!
Oh that's cool about the sandwich. And I'm not saying every Eevee is 1/34 after charm and sandwich. All those odds are for each check (jump over the fence) to find a shiny Eevee. I only say it once at 2:09 but it applies for all the odds. Also thanks! It's an awesome spot.
@@IamAncient Yeah the sandwich trick works for all types too.I understand how your process works of breaking it down in terms of the odds of jumping over the fence, but that is wrong when it comes to probability and odds. Odds affect each individual factor, not the whole. You can flip one coin or a million coins at the same time, the odds for each coin landing heads is still 1/2. Think of it this way, if your odds had truly been 1/34 according to fence jumps, don't you think you would have gotten a lot more than 10 eevees?
First I don't have charm and didn't boost anything so it was 1/91 for me. I also get that each Eevee or each coin has their own individual odds, but you cannot tell me that if you flip a million coins the odds are still 1/2 that one out of the million will land heads, which is all I'm trying to say. My odds for finding one shiny eevee out of the fifteen that spawn after every fence jump is 1/91. Again I understand each one has their own odds.
All you have to do is. Open the map hop into settings roll the time back by 1 minute go back into the game and all outbreaks and raids have reset and you just keep rolling the time back by 1 minute until you find what you’re looking for.
I reset for this outbreak and got an eevee outbreak in *almost * the exact same spot, just a few feet to the left, but 75% of the spawns in that area were iggly/jigglypuffs and fidoughs :(
I tried getting this spot before only having to get medali and the scuffed spawn... it was excrutiangly painful, having soo many normals on Medali i will try this with normal encounter level 2 sandwich in hopes to get this outbreak.
Bro as an Eevee fan, this will make me more so happy. I absolutely will go to that location and get shiny hunt Eevee. Thanks so much for the info in this video!
I found a spot for gyarados and man i got so many my little brother was asking me to stop (16). So glad I don't have to rely on the sandwiches for hunts anymore. Wish ya'll luck on your outbreak spots!
@@IamAncient gonna be honest this shiny was personal, on pokemon go there was an event in which I spent some money for a 1/10 shiny chance per gyarados but after 30+ attempts I got nothing, my bro got one on his 2nd try lol
After 3 days of trying, I finally got the right eevee outbreak! Almost certain I've gotten every other possible location near cortando, and pretty sure the one in your video is the only isolated outbreak xD I'm just nervous about accidentally losing the outbreak by messing with the clock, or time naturally passing xD
Yo congrats! That's awesome! I'm assuming if you set the time back to earlier in the day you can keep the outbreak for longer but I'd wait till closer to midnight to try that just to be safe so you can do the outbreak for as long as you want before the day changes. Hope you get as many Eevees as you want!
turning the clock back even by 1 minute will reset your outbreaks for the day. That being said, you can take advantage of it. Change your date to whatever date you want, I use my birthday to have the chance to get the chosen one mark. Then change your time to 1 am. You can now freely hit the home button and change the time back by one minute. You don't even need to reset the game. This resets your dens and outbreaks, weirdly if you solo dens then your allies will have the same pokemon. I have been doing this for about two weeks now and all my pokemon are caught on the same day. I have 5 shiny chosen one pokemon
@@Bozopack Not exactly If the shiny rate is 1/91, that means with bad luck, you'll need to jump the fence 91 times to get 1 shiny If you take 20 seconds per loading of 15 eevee before you jump to reset spawns, you're looking at 3 jumps per minute, or, 90 jumps per hour With that math, if you wanted 10 eevees to be shiny, it could take up to 10 hours, or, 1 hour per
Gotta love those last second shinies. I was hunting Dratini in an outbreak. Got the 60 AND a sparkle sandwich. But at 11:58 a shiny Mismageous... 12 hits with no dratini. But the sandwich was made like 11:34 I have time! I didn't. 12:04 came and went without a dratini. The sparkle sandwich expired. But I see one at 12:07 anyway!! Diving underwater to run... After a snap save, prayer, and reload it came back! There, 5 ft under the surface, I lock on and make contact with a shiny Dratini for a successful catch before bed.
wait just a question do pokemon defeated like saves? Example: If i kill 60 dratini in a mass outbreak but then go to another different dratini mass outbreak like the next day. Do I still get that 1/1365 shiny odds or does it reset. Just wondering ty
I had an Eevee outbreak in the “perfect” area. Took me hours and hours until I got so angry I gave up. Sandwiches didn’t help at all. Plenty were spawning, but none were shiny. Even did the fence jump.
Omg I've been trying to get a good Eevee outbreak for hours, I just can't get it 😫 I got 2 Eevee outbreaks but they were in really bad spots. I don't think I can do this... so much pain. How the heck did you get this outbreak? It feels impossible 😭
I'm starting to think I was lucky to get it. What I did was save at the spot I was standing at ( 0:32 ) the day before and once I was in the next day I just soft reset. I saw I got that bad Eevee outbreak so after I got that I was just soft resetting until I got another Eevee outbreak or a Smoliv outbreak. I just happened to get that spot as my second Eevee outbreak.
@@IamAncient I just time traveled back and forth. I changed my date one day back, then one day forward and went into the game and checked the outbreaks. Someone else explained that method. I did that for such a long time and I was only able to get 2 bad Eevee outbreaks. Idk if I should keep trying with a normal encounter sandwich or just get an Eeveelution outbreak
I spent an hour and a half here. Reset 90 some times based on how I moved the clock. Saw 5 spawns of Mareep and had 3 of Eevee all in the spaces where it actually never shows. Sigh..... trying again tomorrow
there’s a similar location where you can do this with combee! it’s an outbreak just southwest of cortondo where you can jump into the fencing behind the gym :)
I have been trying this method for 3 days, standing exactly where recommended but doesn't matter how many times I refreshed the game, I couldn't get an eevee outbreak. My outbreaks seemed to stuck with certain pokemons, just in different locations. Did I do something wrong?
Hi! I just wanna ask if you still need to kill 60 eevee first before despawning and respawning the outbreak?? I hope I get lucky like you. now I'm resetting to get the eevee outbreak.
Im getting Pokemon scarlet and want to know how to get a shiny early game. Ive never played Pokemon before and I find all your videos so helpful thank you for posting great content
Hi! I'm late but I leave this comment on case it can be helpful. I started an only shiny playthrough a few days ago. I don't specially recommend it for a first playthrough but it can be fun. The first shiny took the longest as I decided to catch a shiny as soon as possible so I just walked around. It took about 4 hours, so you know. But there's tricks. Look everywhere, check even behind yourself because pokemons can spawn there. There can be 15 around you maximum. After the first shiny the easiest is the mass outbreaks. Don't need sandwiches as the first ones you could do won't be that useful, until the 5th gym badge (you'll get rice and eggs for encounter sandwiches lvl 2). It takes a bit of time but you may find some easy ones. Big advice, avoid those in water when you can because of the lightning and reflects but also because if you're looking for a water type a sandwich would be useless. And check before how the shiny looks like. For mass outbreaks, you want to kill 60 of that pokemon. You can do anything as long as the outbreak is still there. At 25 kills you'll get a message in the upper right corner, and another at 50 ("the apparition is reduced again" or something similar). After, you count up to ten. If you're really unsure you can kill a bit, just stop when you get "the apparition starts to dissipate" because after that it will disappear. That's about it. I'm at 21h and my team is, in order of capture : Jumpluff, Daschbun, Lycanroc (daily form), Primeape and Squawkabilly. All shiny. The funniest was squawkabilly because I just got out of a town to go somewhere and I met a herd of them five steps after going out, one looked weird with a pink wig. Anyway, I'm having so much fun with this. I hope everyone has fun shiny hunting too :3
From my experience, the game knows when a shiny spawns and will keep it there. I don't know how long it will keep it there, but shinies don't really despawn permanently for the first few minutes at the very least.
@@IamAncient yeah I think there's a strong possibility. The reason I think this is because all pokemon despawn when you save and quit the game, and a new version with a different nature and IVs will spawn when you reload the game. Not so with shinies. If you save and quit the game after finding a shiny, the exact same pokemon, down to the ID number, stats, IVs and nature will spawn. It would need to be tested with this particular method, but I'm pretty sure it's the same Eevee.
After spending 2 hours trying to get this outbreak, I’ve gone through 5 sandwiches. No luck. Only shiny Eevee I got was one that spawned while knocking out the 60 Eevee. I have no idea how I’m this unlucky
How were you able to get the isolated Eevee outbreak? I've been trying for three days to get it and I've had no luck at all. I've gotten mass outbreaks on the other side of the fence and in Meidali. How rare is the Eevee isolated outbreak? I only found 1 shiny Eevee in an outbreak in an outbreak in the normal type gym town
Great video, congrats on the eevees! Another good tip, I just learned, make sure you go to the same area/habitats for the pokemon that you're looking for. It will increase the odds you find the outbreak you are hoping to find! I found isolated outbreak of of swablu and caught a whole bunch of yellow birb 🐤 Now I am hoping to catch a bunch of shiny dunsparce... for the 3 segment haha
Oh also about the broken eevee outbreak.. I found broken qwilfish outbreak.. the water was too shallow, it was just magikarp. I actually kept convincing myself "maybe the tides change" then I realized nah just SV glitchiness lol Same w ditto/zorua.. their outbreaks are broken too..
Thanks! Swablu is an awesome shiny, never hurts to have extras! lol. Theres a great dunsparce outbreak if you stand on the path by the pokemon center in los platos and reset/time skip. It's not isolated but since they run away when you get to close you can despawn them really quickly
I'm late, but I found an outbreak of daschbun just outside of a city. So I got myself a shiny one, it was a fast way to check. And I found a shiny squawkabilly just 10 minutes later randomly without looking for anything. I'm doing a shiny only playthrough so it's pretty cool!
If you're talking about the patch with the first Charizard raids this was after that. Also I've been getting comments saying that outbreak is the only one that might work. Maybe it is in a slightly different spot. I am not sure
That moment I've reset at least over a year and the only eevee outbreak I found was smack dab in the middle of that olive football field. Internal screaming commenced.
That year threw me off for a bit then I realized you meant time skips lol. I think at one point I got a jigglypuff outbreak at the corner of the football field. Not a jigglypuff in sight
I love that ive done over close to 1000 resets for eevee and only 2 eevee outbreaks and i got that place for outbreak and i only found jigglypuff and igglybuff and none were shiny 😭😭😭😭
You can fully soft reset your game if your save file is on a previous day or you can just time skip. They should work the same. I just did soft resets for this one
I tried this method and indeed it does work. I have many Shiny Eevees from all previous games including Legends Arceus but they were encountered by sheer luck. This felt like Idk I suppose it felt like an inevitable encounter if that makes sense.
Can you tell me how to do this with houndour. Shiny Houndour is my favorite. I really want one. The only shiny I have is the ghost dog but the puppy ghost one
@@IamAncient they are different. I've managed to get outbreaks of Eevee on all sides of the olive rolling field except the top side where you were in the video. So I figure I've just been unlucky
@I am Ancient yeah I tried them out but I think some of the spawns are blocked by the olive rolling field because either none would spawn or max 2 would. I'll persevere tho because those shiny eeveelutions are worth it!
Yeah I know, you can also just change the day back to the same day if you don't want mess with hatch dates and shiny encounter dates and what not. It was just personal preference to reset that way
I tried this near Medali, then I tried it near Cortando and neither spawned any eevee. So I just went straight to the eeveelution outbreaks instead. I got a stupid amount of smolives, and not a single eevee for about 2 hours solid of resetting. With a normal sandwich lvl 2 buff going and standing right where I wanted to see them. RNG loathes me.
Idk why put i feel like standing right where you want the outbreak won’t work you just need to be around the area where their outbreaks are. Try resetting/time skipping in the actual town of Cortondo where I was in the video and see what happens
@@IamAncient I had been standing just outside Cortondo, right by the pokecenter. Same for Medali, outside town by the pokecenter. Maybe I need to physically be in the town?
I've been using this SR method for a while now for both outbreaks and auctions. Found a handful of apricorn balls at the auctions already by just resetting like this, but unfortunately the outbreaks I get on the day the auctions sell nice stuff are usually pretty lame 😆
@@IamAncient Unfortunately I haven't seen any Love Balls yet but the average apricorn ball seems to be going for around 250k depending on what NPCs you get. I got a Level Ball this morning for 200k because I was up against 2 kids but there is one woman who is absolutely relentless, lol! 300-350 sounds possible, I'm afraid!
I tried this with shiny charm, sparkling sandwich and 60 eevee chain and didnt get a single shiny 😭and to add insult to injury I accidentally saved and lost my herbas. I'm dying inside😭💀
Oh no, I’m sorry that happened. Did you do all that before or after getting the outbreak because you need to have the eevee outbreak in that spot for this to work
1 in 34? thats just straight lies. had this exact spot and that took me almost an hour and a half to get 1 (2 and a half sandwiches i might add with shiny charm)
omg did you know that its not guaranteed that you get a shiny eevee within 34??? some people will find a shiny in the first batch others take a lot longer thats how rng works
@@SinOfWrathh yeah i know how rng works dingus. I'm saying its kinda harder to pull off going more than over 3-4 times the odds. it took me like 120ish encounters to get one.
Try the outbreaks! Make sure you are despawning the pokemon and be pay attention. The shinies can disappear so quickly I've failed a few right in my face.
ngl...i tried using the fighting variant of the sparkling power lvl 3, title lvl 3, and encounter lvl 3 sandwich to help me find shiny riolu....that failed epicly but in turn i came across a shiny torantula. (sorry if i misspelled the name...)
As someone who literally plays violet from 10 am to 5 am the next day, I only have two shinies even from outbreaks. And the chance isn't 1/100 it's usually 1/1k
There a chart somewhere online that could help you out if you look for it. It’s like 1 cucumber, 1 pickle then 3 of the ingredient for the certain type and any two herbs mystica. Once you find the chart it should be easier to follow
I have an eevee outbreak near medali town. An isolated one too. Been going in and out of the town as a reset. Not a single shiny. Got a shiny charm too. Not sure whats wrong
Oh dang! You're getting 15 spawns at a time?? Just might be unlucky. That has a chance to explode since you're getting spawns super fast using the town. Best of luck!
@@IamAncient Update!!! Got over 6 shiny eevees through it! It paid off at the end hahaha! Got really lucky on the 2nd day of reset and yes it was 15 eevees per spawn. Thanks for the video bro! It helped alot!
If you're encountering 15 pokemon at a time and each pokemon has a 1/1365 chance to be shiny, then the odds that a shiny appears is not 15/1365. Instead, the odds that a shiny appears is 1 - the odds that every pokemon encountered is not shiny, or 1-(1364/1365)^15, which is very slightly lower than 15/1365. The real odds are still slightly above 1/100 odds.
Well I Guess I'm The Unluckyist Person At INTENTIONALLY Getting Shinys As I've Been Doing This For Multiple Days Now And I've Got Nothing, The Outbreak Is Even In The Same Spot As You, So Hopefully I Find It In The Next Few Weeks! 😊👍
Did you force the outbreak? I mean, you just kept changing The date. But did you use a normal sandwich, got to the right spot or something? Mate, I've been trying an eevee outbreak for days and I couldn't find any :/
I didn't even change the date man I just soft reset once I was in a new day. I've never done a time skip in this game. Once I was in a new day I just soft reset in the spot I was at ( 0:32 ). The first Eevee outbreak I got was the bad one I talked about in the video and the second Eevee outbreak I got is what the video is about. So it is possible. I guess I just got pretty lucky getting that one as my second Eevee outbreak. From my experience outbreaks can be found in the same spot multiple times so it's just a matter of when not if to get the outbreak. Good luck! Hope you get it and hopefully this comment helped a little.

Well I didn't think about it until after the first 4 lol but in my head it was this also I didn't catch enough after those four for all the Eeveelutions but these are for the balls I did use
Premier Ball - Eevee
Moon Ball - Umbreon
Friend Ball - Espeon
Heal Ball - Sylveon (though I wish I had a Love Ball)
Nest Ball - Leafeon, but could kinda work for Jolteon too
Dive Ball - Glaceon

Think of it this way, if your odds had truly been 1/34 according to fence jumps, don't you think you would have gotten a lot more than 10 eevees?
First I don't have charm and didn't boost anything so it was 1/91 for me. I also get that each Eevee or each coin has their own individual odds, but you cannot tell me that if you flip a million coins the odds are still 1/2 that one out of the million will land heads, which is all I'm trying to say. My odds for finding one shiny eevee out of the fifteen that spawn after every fence jump is 1/91. Again I understand each one has their own odds.
@@IamAncient The fallacy is thinking you can reduce the 15/1365 to 1/91. It's still 15/1365, you can't reduce it.
All you have to do is. Open the map hop into settings roll the time back by 1 minute go back into the game and all outbreaks and raids have reset and you just keep rolling the time back by 1 minute until you find what you’re looking for.
Oh yeah I know, that was just my preference at the time is all
Very cool video about mass outbreaks in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, nice job 👍
Hey appreciate that Lumy!
Good luck!
Trying to get this mass outbreak to spawn has been impossible for me.
You mean the Eevee one? I've heard some success stories so it's possible for sure
Yeah same I can’t get the outbreak
Bro as an Eevee fan, this will make me more so happy. I absolutely will go to that location and get shiny hunt Eevee. Thanks so much for the info in this video!
Of course! I'm always glad to help where I can. Good luck getting the outbreak and on the hunt! Hope you find as many as you want!
I found a spot for gyarados and man i got so many my little brother was asking me to stop (16). So glad I don't have to rely on the sandwiches for hunts anymore. Wish ya'll luck on your outbreak spots!
Whoa! 16! That is a ton! You got an army over there!
Almost certain I've gotten every other possible location near cortando, and pretty sure the one in your video is the only isolated outbreak xD
I'm just nervous about accidentally losing the outbreak by messing with the clock, or time naturally passing xD
If his odds are true of 1/91 you should get all 10 in like an hour
turning the clock back even by 1 minute will reset your outbreaks for the day.
@@Bozopack thats not how the odds actually work. Seeing more pokemon increases your chances just by sheer volume of pokemon u can see.
@@Bozopack Not exactly
If the shiny rate is 1/91, that means with bad luck, you'll need to jump the fence 91 times to get 1 shiny
If you take 20 seconds per loading of 15 eevee before you jump to reset spawns, you're looking at 3 jumps per minute, or, 90 jumps per hour
With that math, if you wanted 10 eevees to be shiny, it could take up to 10 hours, or, 1 hour per
Yo nice! Sometimes saving can actually save the shiny! Congrats on the shinies!
@@IamAncient oh wow. I finished typing that and thought, "that's way too long, no one will ever read it."
That's for taking the time to hear me out!
It's Saturday. I've got like 3 projects due next week. But am I gonna finish 'em? Absolutely not. All play and no work makes me a shiny hunter.
I can't in good conscience endorse this... but I respect it lol
oh my goodness look at my shiny little vee's!!! congrats on your shiny foxes!!! and thanks for another helpful video, Ancient!
Of course! I was hoping you'd like this video lol
THANK YOU! i tried it and it WORKED!! In 1/2 hour i got three shinies (no shiny charm)
Odds are per Pokemon. So regardless of how many are on the screen it is still 1/1365.
Never said anything different to that. Check my pinned comment, go to 2:09 or both
wait just a question do pokemon defeated like saves? Example: If i kill 60 dratini in a mass outbreak but then go to another different dratini mass outbreak like the next day. Do I still get that 1/1365 shiny odds or does it reset. Just wondering ty
No if it’s a new day and new outbreak the odds would reset so you’d have to KO 60+ again
@@IamAncient ok ty
What condiments did you use for the sandwhich?
I had an Eevee outbreak in the “perfect” area. Took me hours and hours until I got so angry I gave up. Sandwiches didn’t help at all. Plenty were spawning, but none were shiny. Even did the fence jump.
Nice video man and the Nameon LOL
Thanks man, after Eevee I felt like they had to have names lol
Omg I've been trying to get a good Eevee outbreak for hours, I just can't get it 😫 I got 2 Eevee outbreaks but they were in really bad spots. I don't think I can do this... so much pain. How the heck did you get this outbreak? It feels impossible 😭
Im in the same boat ite frustrating af ;(
I'm starting to think I was lucky to get it.
6 hours so far and not a single eevee outbreak that wasn't in a area that prevents them from spawning.
there’s a similar location where you can do this with combee! it’s an outbreak just southwest of cortondo where you can jump into the fencing behind the gym :)
Oh snap that must make it much easier to find a shiny female! Thanks for the info!
@@IamAncient yep! i’ve only gotten two males but i’m sure you can pull off a female and maybe make a video too!!
Dude that's so true. You always say that about finizen! And you're absolutely correct!
I do be saying that lol
I have been trying this method for 3 days, standing exactly where recommended but doesn't matter how many times I refreshed the game, I couldn't get an eevee outbreak.
My outbreaks seemed to stuck with certain pokemons, just in different locations. Did I do something wrong?
I'm set for Shiny Eevees through Gen 14
Like, sub help a brother out!
Hi! I just wanna ask if you still need to kill 60 eevee first before despawning and respawning the outbreak?? I hope I get lucky like you. now I'm resetting to get the eevee outbreak.
Yeah, if you want the best possible odds you got KO 60+ before doing the fence jumps. Good luck getting the outbreak! Hope it shows up fast!
Nice! Congrats 🎉 Great Video btw 👍
Appreciate that YoungMerc!
Im getting Pokemon scarlet and want to know how to get a shiny early game. Ive never played Pokemon before and I find all your videos so helpful thank you for posting great content
Thanks for such a nice comment! Hope you really enjoy the game when you get it

Chances are you'll find a Shiny Lechonk in no time
I hope everyone has fun shiny hunting too :3
Ah yes, the shiny pop just when you're leaving the area. Had that yesterday with a Tropius
Those are some crazy odds! Also love the little names you gave them!
Lol I know it's wild and thanks. Those names all fit the moment 😂
Odds are actually still the normal 1/1365 without charm or food power. Rather than the 15/1365 its 15 1/1365. Best odds with food and charm are 1/512
CONGRATS ON 8K ANCIENT!!!
Yo thanks Chef!!! 🥪
From my experience, the game knows when a shiny spawns and will keep it there. I don't know how long it will keep it there, but shinies don't really despawn permanently for the first few minutes at the very least.
You’re telling me it might actually be the same one??
@@IamAncient yeah I think there's a strong possibility. The reason I think this is because all pokemon despawn when you save and quit the game, and a new version with a different nature and IVs will spawn when you reload the game. Not so with shinies. If you save and quit the game after finding a shiny, the exact same pokemon, down to the ID number, stats, IVs and nature will spawn. It would need to be tested with this particular method, but I'm pretty sure it's the same Eevee.
I'm definitely getting my army of eevee tonight ty 4 the vid
Hope it went well/goes well!
Cool. How do you do this in violet? Not all of us are fortunate enough to buy 2 glitchy AAA price games.
Dude what are you talking about? It works in both games. Eevee is in both games. I only have Scarlet. Hope you're doing alright.
@@IamAncient its a semi exclusive, meaning it spawns much less often in violet.
i was doing this but ended up with an eevee outbreak in the middle of that field where they can’t actually spawn
After spending 2 hours trying to get this outbreak, I’ve gone through 5 sandwiches. No luck. Only shiny Eevee I got was one that spawned while knocking out the 60 Eevee. I have no idea how I’m this unlucky
Wait you had the outbreak, used sandwiches and got nothing?!?
How were you able to get the isolated Eevee outbreak? I've been trying for three days to get it and I've had no luck at all. I've gotten mass outbreaks on the other side of the fence and in Meidali. How rare is the Eevee isolated outbreak? I only found 1 shiny Eevee in an outbreak in an outbreak in the normal type gym town
This must have changed ... This spawn gave me nothing but Jigglypuff.
Are you doing the Eevee outbreak or are you just going to that area? It has to be an Eevee outbreak for the Eevees to show up there
Great video, congrats on the eevees! Another good tip, I just learned, make sure you go to the same area/habitats for the pokemon that you're looking for. It will increase the odds you find the outbreak you are hoping to find!
I found isolated outbreak of of swablu and caught a whole bunch of yellow birb 🐤
Now I am hoping to catch a bunch of shiny dunsparce... for the 3 segment haha
Oh also about the broken eevee outbreak..
I found broken qwilfish outbreak.. the water was too shallow, it was just magikarp. I actually kept convincing myself "maybe the tides change" then I realized nah just SV glitchiness lol
Same w ditto/zorua.. their outbreaks are broken too..
Thanks! Swablu is an awesome shiny, never hurts to have extras! lol. Theres a great dunsparce outbreak if you stand on the path by the pokemon center in los platos and reset/time skip. It's not isolated but since they run away when you get to close you can despawn them really quickly
Imagine if the tides changing made the pokemon spawns change, that's next level detail also stink some outbreaks are broken
So I got the eevee outbreak in the location you got but I keep getting jiggly puff and others
Are you sure it was the good location behind the football field thing. That sounds like one of the bad Eevee outbreak spots
@@IamAncient I’m very sure it was the football field thing.
yeah im having the same problem im behind the football field too
@@IamAncient I’m aware there was an patch for the game, was this video made on the latest version or a prior one?
If you're talking about the patch with the first Charizard raids this was after that. Also I've been getting comments saying that outbreak is the only one that might work. Maybe it is in a slightly different spot. I am not sure
That math isnt checking out btw. Its 1/55 for a shiny each time you jump the fence. Not for every eevee
2:09
yo do you stream or anything?
I do, I haven't in a couple weeks but I will at some point lol
Nice video can you please drop the date where you got eevee outbreak? Unless it doesn't work that way but I don't know
Yeah I am not sure if it would help, but I was resetting and got the outbreak on Decemeber 10th, 2022
@@IamAncient Yeah, that field has a really huge no-spawn radius around it, as well as despawning anything that runs into it. Very unfortunate.
I love that ive done over close to 1000 resets for eevee and only 2 eevee outbreaks and i got that place for outbreak and i only found jigglypuff and igglybuff and none were shiny 😭😭😭😭
This is now my favorite ever Yt video when I have time I'm getting a bunch of shiny eevees
That's so nice, I hope when you try it you get the outbreak quickly and get a ton of shiny Eevees!
I have been resetting outbreaks for 2+ hours and cannot get this outbreak 😭
It is possible! Keep trying and you'll get it. Someone already told me they were able to get it so it is possible for sure
You don't have to close your game. Just change the time while it's open, it still works.
How many tries did it take you until you got the Eevee outbreak isolated
About 30 something resets I think. I got a bit lucky. It should be easier if you make a normal encounter sandwich and do time skips
I've had the exact same fails two times. Spawn and despawn in only a few frames. Heartbreaking
It really sucked, but can't believe it showed up again next check. Hope you were able to reclaim!
So u need reset the day without close the game or U need reset the day within close the game?
You can fully soft reset your game if your save file is on a previous day or you can just time skip. They should work the same. I just did soft resets for this one
THANK YOU THIS HELP ME LIKE SOOOO MUCH!!!
No worries, glad to be able to help a little
I tried this method and indeed it does work.
How Many times u had to reset to get the outbrake i did it like 150 times and Not 1 eevee outbrake spawned
I want to say I did it between 25-30 times, but I wasn't really counting. It felt pretty quick after I got that first bad Eevee outbreak
I've already done the first outbreak. Does this mean I might not have a chance at the second outbreak?
Just so you know, it's quicker to set your switch 1 minute back in time with the clock without closing the game it resets them to
Oh yeah I know, I totally do that now lol especially for the raids
@@IamAncient good to know
Can you do this early game? I really want a shiny eevee for my playthrough, but I’m not sure im able to since I haven’t done the bug gym
Im sure you still can whenever outbreaks are unlocked, just make sure you have Eevee in your Pokédex first so you know when you have an eevee outbreak
you don't need to close the game, just set your date to 1 minute in the past, the outbreaks will refresh, it's faster
Notice that shiny igglybuff at the start showing the smoliv
No way that was shiny
I've been resetting outbreaks for this and I'm at the end of 2023. Am I just ridiculously unlucky?
Youre not alone, bro 😢
I'm not too sure, are you getting some of the same outbreaks in the same spots you've seen before or have they been all different?
@@IamAncient they are different. I've managed to get outbreaks of Eevee on all sides of the olive rolling field except the top side where you were in the video. So I figure I've just been unlucky
If you get one on the other sides try it out and see what happens, they might work as well! I just never had the opportunity to test those
@I am Ancient yeah I tried them out but I think some of the spawns are blocked by the olive rolling field because either none would spawn or max 2 would. I'll persevere tho because those shiny eeveelutions are worth it!
I’m going to try later to get the last 3 eeveelutions .
Cheers for the tip, but you can actually just change your date one day forward instead of resetting
Yeah I know, you can also just change the day back to the same day if you don't want mess with hatch dates and shiny encounter dates and what not. It was just personal preference to reset that way
Does KO'ing 60 eevee's increase the odds according to other youtube videos?
Yeah it does, all the odds on the video take the 60 plus KOs into account
What’s the date for the outbreak
“That be… RNG” ancient got bars
lol thought it might be a nice line
I'm not sure how much of a difference it would make, but I was standing in the town when I was doing the resets
I've been using this SR method for a while now for both outbreaks and auctions.
Found a handful of apricorn balls at the auctions already by just resetting like this, but unfortunately the outbreaks I get on the day the auctions sell nice stuff are usually pretty lame 😆
Yo that's awesome, yeah I bet the odds of getting a good apriball and outbreaks are low lol. Is it true that one love ball can be $300k??
@@IamAncient Unfortunately I haven't seen any Love Balls yet but the average apricorn ball seems to be going for around 250k depending on what NPCs you get. 1 in 34? thats just straight lies. had this exact spot and that took me almost an hour and a half to get 1 (2 and a half sandwiches i might add with shiny charm)
omg did you know that its not guaranteed that you get a shiny eevee within 34??? some people will find a shiny in the first batch others take a lot longer thats how rng works
@@SinOfWrathh yeah i know how rng works dingus. I'm saying its kinda harder to pull off going more than over 3-4 times the odds. it took me like 120ish encounters to get one.
Ok, how do people do that? I've been playing for 2 weeks now every day and haven't seen even one shiny pokemon :(
Try the outbreaks! Make sure you are despawning the pokemon and be pay attention. The shinies can disappear so quickly I've failed a few right in my face.
so just reset my game until i get that outbreak?
I don't understand what you mean by saving a day from the past.. I can't get eevee to spawn on that location
Just if your last save December 23rd for example you could soft reset for new outbreaks. You can also do time skips if you want
this is super helpful bc me and my friends or doing whiever gets a shiny first without shiny charm wins

I couldn't tell you exactly but based on my raw video files it looks like around 8 in the morning is when I was doing the resets
As someone who literally plays violet from 10 am to 5 am the next day, I only have two shinies even from outbreaks. And the chance isn't 1/100 it's usually 1/1k
Idk how to do shiny sandwiches so incredibly unlucky here :/
There a chart somewhere online that could help you out if you look for it.
Best of luck!

i frickin love eevee.
thank you.
Yo no worries, I'm glad if I could help even a little
If you're encountering 15 pokemon at a time and each pokemon has a 1/1365 chance to be shiny, then the odds that a shiny appears is not 15/1365. Instead, the odds that a shiny appears is 1 - the odds that every pokemon encountered is not shiny, or 1-(1364/1365)^15, which is very slightly lower than 15/1365. The real odds are still slightly above 1/100 odds.
Oh alright
Well I Guess I'm The Unluckyist Person At INTENTIONALLY Getting Shinys As I've Been Doing This For Multiple Days Now And I've Got Nothing, The Outbreak Is Even In The Same Spot As You, So Hopefully I Find It In The Next Few Weeks! 😊👍

Heck yeah

5?!? oh no lol. I hope you're able to eventually find that Eevee outbreak!
Isn't changing the time back faster?
Yeah for sure, just at the time it was my preference so I was just soft resetting. Don't think it makes a difference for what outbreaks show up
i've tried day skipping and resetting my game to spawn eevee mass outbreak in this location for 6 freaking hours!!!! its not working for me.
