At 7:00 - ish. In PLA, the Heavy Ball line (Heavy / Leaden / Gigaton) will apply their special bonus when catching a target unawares, OR while in battle. That said, the Ultra Ball (at always 2.25) is still better than a boosted Heavy (1.25) or Leaden (2), while *not* being better than a Gigaton in any case (2.5, 2.75 boosted.)

This gave me a great idea you should open more Pokémon card pack and beat the game only using the in game equivalent of those cards
