Wow you just gave me hope my left side is weak due to a stroke and I want to learn to weave, I loom knit a bit it helps to strengthen my fingers I think weaving will help also.
@@arthurlynnkanuha5730 I’m not good at checking comments but this was special. You can warp from both sides and with either hand. It’s a matter of slowing down and teaching ourselves. I had to do this when transitioning from continental knitting to English style. It’s easier when you can control different colors in each hand verses twisting. So it’s the little things!
Don't let anything hold you back. Weaving is loads of fun and with practice you can make it work. I might recommend a belt with a keychain doodad (can't think of what it is called!!!) so that you can use a pulley system so that your stronger hand can do the work.
you all prolly dont give a damn but does anybody know of a way to get back into an Instagram account..? I was dumb forgot my password. I would appreciate any assistance you can give me.
@Keith Emilio I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and Im trying it out now. I see it takes a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
I am so late in responding. You will see on the reed the holes and then the longer openings. It is easier to run the yarns though the holes when you are warping the loom. Then when you are ready to separate the threads you can pull out one an the other is less likely to jump out as well. I hope you found the answer long before this one.
Thank you. Well-presented. Very helpful.
Can’t thank you enough. Great video ❤wish there was a 2nd part … how to weave .

Thank you!!! I learned several different ways of doing things.
Thank you! I am just starting to weave but can only use one of my hands, I'm determined to make it work!

This video was helpful in many ways, but I'm still confused about the holes and the slots. Camera angle was not helpful at that stage.
