Ah yes Rollback netcode drops inputs all the time as opposed to Delay based where the random slow downs due to distance or connection quality that can actually be proven to drop inputs doesn’t drop inputs. Of course, Philliam. How silly of the FGC.
Fun fact, all the top tiers in SF6 DO NOT PLAY THE SAME. JP is a Zoner, Deejay is setplay, Ken is a Shoto, Chun-Li is a Footsies character. If you know about all of these archetypes you know they're not the same. But you know, I'm not "THE GREATEST AMERICAN STREET FIGHTER 2 PLAYER (in 2005)"
He is so convinced that rollback netcode is the reason why he can't hang in Masters, its almost comical. I honestly wish the Cannon Brothers sue him for slander, that would be absolutely hilarious.
The only reason why this won't happen is two-fold. First is that DSP has no financial value, the second is because in the big picture of things is that Phil is practically non-existent in the FGC. No-one who plays fighting games believes Phil in the slightest.
Oop warhammer reference! Also, it drives me up a wall every time he pauses and smacks his lips like an animal. I couldn't stop myself from screaming at him if we were in the same room. Between the snorting, smacking his lips, and burping like the alcoholic he is, I feel bad for anyone in his vicinity. I'd go nuts.
As someone who 'is' a street fighter/FGC person, yes. Phils SF4.5 and 6 were my favorite things. Being able to laugh at him struggle, identify things wrong, lie straight to the chat's face and then have replay footage on hand to prove the exact opposite and even being able to personally tell exactly why he got hit is the main reason i started watching detractor content about him in the first place. His tekken stuff is boring as dirt, although the Marvel Vs Capcom stuff was hilarious cause everyone just ran through him constantly. Same with Dragonball but those didn't last nearly as long as i would have hoped.
I do hate however, that this neanderthal has 4 characters hit master and i have yet to hit one. But thats more of the fact that the SF6 ranking system is a complete joke now. And i'm bad but my point still stands.

When I first discovered Darksydephil and his detractors, I actually started to feel kind of bad for him. I kept thinking “Why can’t people just let him play his little games with his little community and be happy?” Sure, he was kind of an asshole back in the day, and is generally full of shit, and terrible at games, and might be a little bit stupid, but is he really hurting anyone? But then I quickly discovered the true depth of his depravity. He still is all of those things and more. He 100% deserves to be where he’s at and he has no one to blame but himself. It’s kind of fascinating to watch. You absolutely do the best job of breaking down exactly what’s going on with him pointing out all of his bullshit. It’s actually very sad. With very little effort, he could vastly improve his content and grow his little community and be happy, but he just doesn’t. He’s gonna be doing the exact same thing until he dies, and we’re all gonna be here when it happens. It’s hard not to feel bad for the guy.
20:36 I don't remember if any of his dents recommended a video on rollback to him for his react streams. But if they did, you bet he would skip most of the video, say the guy explaining it is stupid and wrong, then clicks off still thinking he's right. insanity.
He did a Cannon Bros video on DSP Reacts. Well, if listening for 20 seconds, slandering the guy and talking about how rollback netcode sucks and then going to the next video without even listening to the actual explanation of how it works.
@@nunyabizniss3451 ok thanks, now I remember that stream. The absolute irony of him saying people slander him on a daily basis , while slandering someone with nothing but a "trust me bro".
The whole Tekken ‘doesn’t drop ma moves’ is probably because it’s a fundamentally slower game than Street Fighter. The fastest normal move in SF is 3 frames and in T8 it’s 10 frames
When he's talking about the lag, notice how he specifically mentions how many ms Tekken had, while being vague about SF6? Also, for those who don't know, the average blink of an eye is 100ms. So DSP is trying to say that with pings FASTER THAN THE BLINK OF AN EYE, his reflexes are so quick, it's dropping his inputs. Yeah, right.
LMFAO!. Mr.Toadstool in the chat at around 11:55 * Chews Water * Big ups to Toadstool. Hahahahahahahahahaha. AND, Big ups to Atlus for the continuity with the Fallout!!
The fact that he, a 40+ year old man, is complaining about being "upset" at a video game, just sums DSP up doesn't it?? Pathetic baby behaviour, I was more mature at 18 than Phil is at 41
The thing is, DSP could totally learn the bare basics for each character. It takes, at most, an hour of sitting down in training, going through the move set and checking out the moves. It took me ten minutes to do the combo challenges for Raven. It took me a further half an hour to go through the moves. It then took me 20 minutes (but more like an hour because I was super invested to learn) on using both to put together my own personal shit. It's not optimal at all since I don't understand half of Tekken's 8 systems. I dunno how to make optimal combos (outside of using a Tornado move once per combo and doing it twice stops it) I dunno how to make a combo continue after that, but I'm learning that a Down-Back 2 hits people off the floor into a bounce. Okay let's explore this a little and off I went. My point of the tirade is that he could totally, learn some shit that works for online. He could totally involve his community into exploring things, but people like DSP, the LTG's, the 6Arakin's refuse to use the tools given to them. Hell I watched Maxmillion when GranBlue Versus Rising released of him messing around with Siegfried and it was super fun and enjoyable to see him have so much fun with unga bunga sword man. As someone whom is super new to the Genre and wants to make it a staple in my gaming rotation like how I used to play For Honor almost nonstop since it released. I feel like I'm just natively better than DSP, because I'm willing to sit down in the muck to work things out.
28:44 Averagely good in Tekken is the yellow to red rank range. Phil knows nothing. It’s rather impressive yet baffling that he was able to get as high as he is.
DSP is the type of guy who would keep a personal vendetta against another 3rd grader, and 20 years later when he sees your mom in Walmart pushes all the shelves on top of her.
Dsp got filtered in red. The ranks where people start knowing the game better and you have to start trying to learn the game better. When it takes effort and doesn't get easy wins he's not interested anymore.
In fighting games, character tier rankings only matter in the highest level of play. Because everyone is at such a high skill level that it really does come down to certain things like frame data and how easy it is to input something or a particular move has a unique property that makes a difference in a specific circumstance. But he has never been that good where it would matter.
9:19 This is fighting game basics, mixing up and all that. Not just stuff limited to rushing style characters, which most characters are still capable of in most games. Just Phil refusing and being incapable of learning and blaming everyone else.
Smuggle the rattlesnakes in and use them as a weapon to run the prison from the inside. If you got them to Venezuela im sure you could get them into prison. And thanks for the tenner boss 🙏
Now that he's rage quit Tekken, I give it three weeks before he's playing Street Fighter 6 again and saying the exact opposite thing, that it has much better hit detection and less dropped moves than Tekken. Phil's narrative changes depending on the moment.
Impressive, since youre not a fighting game expert, that you noticed Phil not knowing what moves are even happening on screen when he plays Tekken. He can't know if his moves are dropping or not.
I hate the "I don't have the knowledge to fight these characters" argument because this game literally has one of the best tools to learn to deal with moves in the replay feature that tells you what you could do against certain moves. And you can even take over the replay to try it in that match too
But it’s the lag, netcode, it’s dropping my inputs, my joystick isn’t working. How can a replay help when the characters aren’t balanced. The game devs. are 13:26 idiots. The game is cheating…..
Great Video Atlus. When he brags about being above all the entry level players, I thought ab him in the beta and getting 13-0 from ny Chris. LOL "Does he not play Streetfighter!" He is a sore loser also.
DSP is a top-tier fighting game player. The problem is that the tier he lords over is the scrub tier. When he gets into matches with players on and above his level, he gets bodied
That is only partially related to the video but who actually enjoys watching Phil unironically. He does the same song and dance every time. This wagequit was announced beforehand and he does this all the time. Who are the people who unironically watch this guy? Is this a kink or something? Serious question

Ah yes Rollback netcode drops inputs all the time as opposed to Delay based where the random slow downs due to distance or connection quality that can actually be proven to drop inputs doesn’t drop inputs. Of course, Philliam. How silly of the FGC.
The biggest of ups. Had to do it to him SLIME
Dspolitics is gonna be so fire 😂
Fun fact, all the top tiers in SF6 DO NOT PLAY THE SAME. JP is a Zoner, Deejay is setplay, Ken is a Shoto, Chun-Li is a Footsies character. If you know about all of these archetypes you know they're not the same. But you know, I'm not "THE GREATEST AMERICAN STREET FIGHTER 2 PLAYER (in 2005)"
He can't help it that he went from 4th in to 40th place in Teken 8 in a blink of an eye.
Also he freaking wrong, Guile, Ken, Cammy, Ryu, Juri. they all play differently the only rush down characters out of my list is Ken.
When you're gin-brained DSP, everyone is a rushdown character 😂
Don't forget for a guy that keeps talking about older SF games he have yet to play in Fightcade.
Did Phil work for a helicopter company? He mentioned it once on a stream and never ever brought it up again.
If only
phily willy is the definition of "ghuyyyys don't worry, they're laughing WITH me chat ACKACKACK" no phil..... no we are in fact laughing AT you. always have been, always will
Thank you, my friend, for providing entertainment during my lunch break.
Of course, boss 🙏
Professional. Based on his logic he was a model student, simply for attending.
It’s rather impressive yet baffling that he was able to get as high as he is.
you know what they say. Hindsight is 50/50
DSP is the type of guy who would keep a personal vendetta against another 3rd grader, and 20 years later when he sees your mom in Walmart pushes all the shelves on top of her.
Dsp got filtered in red. The ranks where people start knowing the game better and you have to start trying to learn the game better. When it takes effort and doesn't get easy wins he's not interested anymore.
Damn I decided to wear high end in ear monitors for this video. That was a burping mistake in my ears
In fighting games, character tier rankings only matter in the highest level of play. Because everyone is at such a high skill level that it really does come down to certain things like frame data and how easy it is to input something or a particular move has a unique property that makes a difference in a specific circumstance. But he has never been that good where it would matter.
“I’ve come to the conclusion that it isn’t your fault.”
I’m CCNA network certified. I always sit up when we get DSP network admin
9:19 This is fighting game basics, mixing up and all that. Not just stuff limited to rushing style characters, which most characters are still capable of in most games. Just Phil refusing and being incapable of learning and blaming everyone else.
DSP is insane with his "lower ping drops more of your moves" cope. He is outright lying about rollback netcode.
I got caught smuggling egyptian rattlesnakes into venezuela and they gave me life what do I do
Smuggle the rattlesnakes in and use them as a weapon to run the prison from the inside. If you got them to Venezuela im sure you could get them into prison. And thanks for the tenner boss 🙏
@@AtlustheBookkeeperboss I tried but they put me through the rattlesnake detector. im fucked
Philly-boy is desperate for validation as a veteran pro-gamer kahntent creator.
SF move inputs and timing are much tighter than in super turbo, but Phil just wants to blame the lag.
That's what you fail Bookkeeper, DSP isn't an adult style human being. MAYBE he's an adult style alien 👽 but certainly bot an adult human.
As the days continue, im leaning more towards alien
There are no mirrors on his home planet 👽
@@AtlustheBookkeeper I've maintained for a while DSP is an alien in a Phil Burnell human skin suit.
@@RED_Theory038 No reflection in water either? 🤔
@@Nathan_Coley no water either. Oceans of unrefined gin. Truly the roachoid biology is fascinating.
Now that he's rage quit Tekken, I give it three weeks before he's playing Street Fighter 6 again and saying the exact opposite thing, that it has much better hit detection and less dropped moves than Tekken. Phil's narrative changes depending on the moment.
damn, I hope you don't overdose on pig for us! big ups
DSP: I run my own business.
Also DSP: I can't take the time to learn the nuances of a game I actually like because of the schedule, dood.
Justin Wong agrees got me lmao
The GOAT of gout and excuses.
34:18 *Phil used projection it's super effective*
Poor Kat. This guy probably finishes so fast.
There was nothing he could do, he did everything right. His nuts just rushed, dood.
31:25 shit like that
Impressive, since youre not a fighting game expert, that you noticed Phil not knowing what moves are even happening on screen when he plays Tekken. He can't know if his moves are dropping or not.
Whut! There's a part2? AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH KAHMAHN! ...I'm so kahnfuhsed
My b 🙏
17:38 Wait I thought SF6 had a better online connection than Tekken 8 but now SF6 has a worse online connection than Tekken 8 so which is it
I genuinely CANNOT understand how DSP doesn’t realize that Tekken 8 also runs on Rollback netcode.
Cause he’s an idiot.
This guy literally jus described his EXACT Gameplay in Tekken...
3:00, he was going to say “hilariously sad” wasn’t he?
I thought he was going to say hilariously funny. But that doesnt make sense so he said funny after
Games that are more dsps speed/style are walking sims, no thinking no competition no challenge just stick up and win yay!
KAT AGREES (Categories)
That is only partially related to the video but who actually enjoys watching Phil unironically. He does the same song and dance every time. This wagequit was announced beforehand and he does this all the time. Who are the people who unironically watch this guy? Is this a kink or something? Serious question
he's been on this huge vendetta against the FGC since tekken came out its pretty entertaining
thanks for the upload :)
ive watched a decent amount of him playing tekken 8, and i really think that game is too much for him. it looks like he only presses the same two buttons, or is getting combo'd lmao. kinda like how BG3 is too much for him.
I could have sworn this video went from being 3 hours old to 6 minutes old.
Uhhhhhh no?
@@AtlustheBookkeeper mobile is weird on yt these days. Great video tho bro! The Tekken arc was so hilarious.
Keep it up Atlus love the content as always :]
Appreciate that 🙏
DSP speaks like every sentence is part of a one sided argument he is having in his head.
It's easy to argue in an empty room.
I mean, getting all those characters to master is like qualifying for Capcom cup five years in a row and refusing to go. It's not a flex because you're actively dodging smoke.
DSP doesn't understand that sf6 and tekken have the same netcode. They both have rollback. Lmao.
