    That oh so subtle smile in the intro when you say "No, I'm not joking".
    Glad to hear that awesome people are reaching out to you to preview the good stuff! I feel there is a lot to unpack in this plugin, since it's a "hub", but do you feel the Fortin Nameless plugin still has its use? From what you have worked with, how does the Nameless stack up against some high gain amps in this plugin?

    • @KeyanHoushmandLive
      @KeyanHoushmandLive  4 роки тому +15

      This is much more versatile, there's a lot more options at your disposal and they all sound great. The Nameless is more of a one trick pony. Except the trick is the best trick you've ever seen a pony do, ever.

    • @KeyanHoushmandLive
      @KeyanHoushmandLive  4 роки тому +1

      The tones captured within the tone packs were done using real amp setups, recorded and profiles by a Kemper or axe fx. With this plugin you are then able to load those profiles that were based from original real amp setups.

    Nice man. Have a question. When you record guitar in your DAW does the recording line up with the metronome? Since you're recording with an audio interface and there is latency involved, I'm just wondering if your recorded tracks perfectly line up, or do you need to manually drag/line them up yourself? Thanks.

    • @KeyanHoushmandLive
      @KeyanHoushmandLive  4 роки тому

      When I do demos, I hit record, turn the metronome off and just leave it recording across the whole video while im playing around with the plugin. At the end I stop recroding and the export it.

      I used to feel the same until I got the own hammer and ML labs IR's mixed with Neural DSP. Closest thing we've come to in the box yet! Also helps a lot to plug the guitar into my neve then into my 1176 but make sure keep the gain at unity to the same level the guitar would be without it and I also don't compress with the 1176 at all really... Just using it for the analog tone it gives my D.I.
      Neural DSP is the best so far out of everything I've tried.. loading the IR's is where it's at tough! I think a lot of the problem is the whole "moving the mic position thing" which gives too many options and probably makes it impossible to use just the IR they started with. Not sure.... All I know is we are getting close... and at the end of the day (or night) it's all about the song anyway! Remember how bad Creed's first record sounded? Those guitars sounded like an old Pod. lol But it sold millions of copies because Mark played with all of his heart and he melodies were infectious!

      @@nolanneal yeh thats the better solution my neve or api with a maxon tube od in front, but i use a prism tian too the conversion makes the diff, still 35 years ear training reveals the truth, music quality is worth it, when people get laxed they fall into the consumer trap tech quantity of irs more than simple quality an izo box is the way to get the extra 20 percent, then its down to engineering, once you have done it a long time you know iron and tubes cant be a mimic regardless of lazy folks want it easy want it now, no fun in that shit :)

    • @Bcwilderness
      @Bcwilderness 4 роки тому

      @Zach alan fair opinion, im more for quality over quantity, a lot of music today sounds weak with sims, depends how much you value music as a producer i do, the 20 percent most people cant hear engineers need to hear as mixing etc is a craft and decades spent learning how to record amps proper adds value to music imo, enjoy the sims :)

    Man , this tone hub has disappointed me a lot. Neural dsp kills this, I understand what they are trying to do but there other plugins like the Will Putney suite is so much better. How in the world do you get these tones on this tone hub. I play through it and it’s terrible. I mean it really don’t sound that good in this video, but it sounds better than what I am doing. I wish I could sit down with people like you and hear what your hearing.

      Torn Horizon so much of the tone is the player, the guitar and the pickups. What guitar are you using?

      Lol, this demo sounds awful. When I play andy james tonehub pack, i get the same sound he used in exodus album which is the best tone i have ever heard on guitar. You definitely make something wrong. Its your playing, pickups and you dont know how to use eq

      @@adalbertusignatius4967 I can use an eq just fine, my pickups are instrumental sfty3 which are better than any Seymour Duncan, Dimarzio, Emg, or Fishman. When I blended different amps from the packs it started sounding great but far too much tweaking and choices for me to deal with so I sold it. I got something like neural dsp and nembrini, or plugin alliance so when you load it up just a few turns of a knob and a great ir and you have a great tone

      The tone comes from the guitar, the pickups, the strings and amp not the player. The player has the dynamics and the skills to make that tone be the best it can.

      @@prognosis77 when this fits better in your mixes, it is fine. But for example neurals plugins are very limited. Only one amp per plugin. This gets boring very quickly. It also highly depends on the mix. With the Andy James pack I purchased, there is this Archon Lead preset and I have never found a plugin where you can play a high gain lead tone on your neck with that clarity like on this amp. And the Marshall JCM 800 preset in this pack is also very hard to beat by another plugin. In Andy James Backing Tracks I have found nothing which fits better.

    Soooooo tired of the same metal tones... with that king of gain, it doesn’t matter the quality of the plugin... once in a mix, nobody it’s going to notice. Sorry, but it’s so difficult to find a demo of breakup tones or classic ones! It has to be my fault!!!!! Thanks anyway for the demo and effort!!!!!!✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️

      There wouldve been some influences from that for sure, given that its a Kemper tone manager and this is a Kemper tone loader.

    this thing don`t sound like axe ,or kpa ....it sounds like old software amp tonematching after kpa or axe ,dull , and boring sound ,,,clearly this statements about axe and kemper sound - is another marketing bullshit ....
    Neural DSP plugins are a thousand miles away from that ..in terms of realism and quality )...

      Yes, because his demo sounds shit. I have every plugin out there and get the best sounds from tonehub. Same sound like Andy James ones he did with the kemper. When its not the case for you, you dont know how to use it.
