@@ArtofDef I jus went to get sum stand oil to try it. They didn't have any. I got sum galkyd. I been up in the air about which route I wanted to take on a paintin I'm fixin to do. Gonna test out sum dif mediums beforehand! 🙂

Keep building your channel mate and working on your techniques. I would strongly suggest you dilute your stand oil mix significantly more than the ratios you are using, should never use stand oil direct from the jar to paint. Normally start at a ratio of 1 part stand oil to 1 part mineral spirits, 50:50 ratio and play from there but generally try not to go beyond 50% stand oil in any mix, say 30% stand oil, 50% linseed oil, 20% mineral sprits is also a good mix.
If you do this you will find you still get all the advantages of stand oil and would even still be able to flick on your stars at the end with the paint. All the best.

Which one tends to yellow more over time, and is it still worth using them, especially in whites or blues?
1 part stand oil to 2 parts mineral spirits and 1 drop cobalt drier
