It’s nice to watch you as a couple traveling all over the uk and abroad . Keep up the good work and look forward to more videos of your next trips . Bring on next year already . 👍👍😂😂
Hi Ruud, thanks as always 😊 This area is perfect for the bike with lots of different route options, as we were just passing through this time only really got to see a small part of the Yorkshire dales 😎👍
This is my biking back yard .Buttertubs pass was named because the hole in the ground/cave is where the locals stored there butter to keep it cool in the summer before fridges . Just a little fact for you. That was hawes you were in and not Wensleydale . Epic video again . 👍👍😂😂
Thanks Dave -we love a good local fact 😎👍🏻. Yeah we realised that when we edited the video but was too late to do anything about it -I think so many of the shops had Wensleydale written on them we thought it was a town lol 😁. Glad you enjoyed the video and you live in a beautiful place 😊👍🏻

You do some long days, riding some of my favourite routes through the empty soft landscape of the Dales. Granite landscape in the Lakes but its limestone in the Pennines, it’s a great part of the world but very cold in Winter. Crossing between the different Dales there are some very steep narrow roads and wild empty moorland. The holes are ‘sinkholes’ formed by water finding weaknesses in the rock and gradually making an opening, I can remember my geography at school😉 PS. Love your description of ‘Wallace & Gromit’ in the village of Hawes, ‘cheeeeeese’. Very popular destination for bikers😀 Yorkshire Tea for ever!!!!
Yeah we do -well spotted 😊, when we travel so far to see places we want to make sure we see the most we can with the time we have (i think a lot of people don't realise that one day can be spread over 2-3 episodes 🤣). Yeah it really is a nice part of the country, done some great hikes there when we lived in the UK. Ahhh is that what they are -glad someone was paying attention in geography class 😁. Em has converted to Yorkshire Tea since a while now 😂
Hi guys, very pretty journey, and amazing drone footage as usual. Yorkshire tea, since I lived in North Yorkshire for a few years. Nothing compares to it ❤
Thanks Simon! Great to hear you are enjoying the videos. Haha never have we appreciates a supermarket as much as that one -we were famished and still had to do the Peak District 🤣.
That is an amazing road ,as Emma said so remote but so close to the big city, The work that went into the dry stone dykes is fantastic and to think it would have been hauled in on horse and cart and all by hand Great ride along again thanks 👍 Tea today is Tetly I used Mathew Algies for a while which were. Very nice but expensive , I make my tea in a pot ,milk in the mug first lol
Hi, yeah it really is an amazing road, in fact the scenery in general in Yorkshire is beautiful and we are so glad that it hasn't changed. Yeah the work that went into those wally is amazing ...but they are still standing today so well worth it! Hahah well if you are using a teapot that's totally acceptable -in fact encouraged 😂 Thanks for watching Sean and Emily 😊
Yeah it is a bit confusing as you say. It seems every other shop and business is called Wensleydale something . Yeah we lucky to have all this on our doorstep. We’re heading that way next year again on our way to Croatia and Bosnia hertzigova . 👍👍😂😂
Hi Dave, hehe is sure is. I think this tour was fast paced so we didnt really have time to stop and check the details of each place but we really enjoyed the tour and got to see so much of the UK and Ireland 😊. Hi from Oz. I think that town you were driving through talking about cheese was actually Hawes. We recently spent 5 weeks driving around Ireland, Scotland and England and it is great for both of us revisiting so many places we drove through in your videos. You would love riding through our part of the world in the Southern Hemisphere be it Australia (especially Tassie) or the south island of New Zealand, both have classic bike routes. We took a 1250RT round the south island of NZ over three weeks and it was just to die for. Keep the great vids coming and thanks.
Hey! Cool that you are watching from Oz! Yeah you are right, our mistake -too many shops with Wensleydale written on them 🤣. Nice to hear this playlist has brought back some nice memories. Actually OZ and NZ are in the Pipeline, not sure when but maybe 2026. The South island NZ trip must have been awesome! I (Sean) lived in NZ some time ago and it's about time Emily and I went together. Some exciting new projects on the way 😎👍
It's ok to put milk in first if you make your tea in a tea pot, which always used to be the case before bags of course. Are you two going to get a1300 GS at all? I saw the video of Sean at the BMW of road track. That was great. Great video thanks. 😃👍
Totally agree with you there -our parents are avid Teapot users too 😊 It's certainly up for consideration -would like to test ride it first although we are sure it's going to be great! The off road training was so much fun and the bike performed fantastic! Great to hear you enjoy the videos and thanks for your comment 😎👍

Buttertubs is so called because, as the story goes, farmers on their way to the market in Hawes used to rest there on hot days and would lower the butter they were taking to market into the potholes to keep cool.
oooh, not stopping at Tan Hill Inn - wottamisakatomaka! - Its heavenly, it has a real 'sou'l to it :) Particularly if there is driving rain or snow outside (which there usually is!)
If you want to see some amazing routes it can be great to head off from the a roads. Mind you in Yorkshire you really have to be careful about fuel. Very limited number of petrol stations and they often have very short opening hours. Enjoy your ride.
Hello to both of you. I have been watching your Chanel for the last 6 Months and must say that I love your content. Your vidéos and attention to détails are superbe, your drone vidéos are breathtaking 😮 I followed you 2 all around the UK and must say every place you went was more beautiful then the last. That was unexpexted. You do the kind of roads i love to do,small twisty roads in the montains and along riveres and lacs. Beeing from Québec Canada i only been to Europe once in Corsica but comming back next year to do the french and Italian alps and also Tuscany. Cant wait to be back and thanks for all your vidéos that keeps me dreaming of my next adventure 😊
Hi Joe, we nearly missed your comment. Thanks you so much for your kind words of encouragement, it's so nice to hear that you enjoy teh videos so much 😊. Corsica was a great choice of place to visit! We went there earlier this year and we were blown away by the island. We hope you have a great trip next year!
We are wearing Touratech gear, this suit we show in detail in the first episode of the playlist: ua-cam.com/video/HBi9llMO_zs/v-deo.htmlsi=VuorSu1uUAjQUN_l
Sean mate you load your bike with so much language. Are you aware GS and other bikes suspension was designed to 80kg rider (inc clothing, language and passenger). Did you think about upgrading your suspension with Touratech to your configuration. I believe you already pre-ordered 1300 GSA anyway so maybe its good to think about it for upcoming motorcycle. Greetings Tomasz
Hey Tomasz. the max payload for the R1300 GSA is 217kg. Our full luggage that we took to Norway including the actual Alu panniers and the camping equipment for two people (which we have further reduced) as well as a laptop and media equipment came to 47kg. Which leaves us well under the max permitted (which I'm guessing is conservative value from BMW) . Although it's funny that you mention the Touratech suspension as we were discussing this last weekend with a professional enduro racer. 😎👍
@SeanandEmily it's looks like you are in good hands then. I am thinking of swapping my 1250 GSA to Yamaha T7. Same time studying the suspension topic. We'll I am riding 99% solo and doing as much as possible off-road. I was just thinking about you guys riding fully loaded and how to improve your comfort and handling of the bike. 😊
T7 is ideal for single riding, with 2 it's quickly at the weight limit with a tiny bit of luggage. Heard these are awesome though ...maybe the world raid is a good option. The guy we were talking to has the raid with the Touratech Suspension and he loves it!
It's interesting the how different cultures drink different things. When I was in the states I was surprised by the amount of different coffee's to choose from (dripped) whereas in Europe coffee is mostly just a shot of Espresso.
@@SeanandEmily haha , yall probably cridged at tea drinkers here then. love yalls videos. could yall do a little mention of the fitting of yalls helmets. sizing, etc,,,,,

Well the weather was perfect so thought we would make the most of the great riding weather 😎🙌🏻
I learn for Yorkshire dales from a tv series. Very rough place (Amanda and Clive Owen ❤
Ah yes the Farm series 👍🏻 it’s a lovely part of the UK 😊
Rough, don’t say that to a Yorkshireman🤣.
I think he meant raw 😉
@@SeanandEmilymaybe tough
great ride guysi take it you were on A65
Yeah but only for the last part as we headed towards the Peak District 👍🏻
If you want to see some amazing routes it can be great to head off from the a roads. Mind you in Yorkshire you really have to be careful about fuel. Very limited number of petrol stations and they often have very short opening hours.
Enjoy your ride.
beautiful views looks not to bumpy lol
Yeah views were spectacular and you’re right not bumpy this time 😁 a fantastic motorcycle road! 😎👍🏻
That b Hawes with the bikers cafe. - Subscribed after viewing Wrynose trip :)
Camerawork etc is great - what drone (standard camera?) do u use?
Thanks very much, we use the DJI mini pro 4 -fantastic little drone 😎👍🏻
who takes these terrific drone shots while both of you are on the bike?
Emily does 😉 She flys the drone from the pillion seat as we ride along.
@@SeanandEmily that's brilliant , i wondered how you did it, or had another motorcyclist with you doing the drone stuff
Hehe no support team for us 😉 Not sure how Em managed to keep it so steady whilst pillioning up the Hardknott 😊
Yorkshire dales = Gods Own Country

We are wearing Touratech gear, this suit we show in detail in the first episode of the playlist:
ua-cam.com/video/HBi9llMO_zs/v-deo.htmlsi=VuorSu1uUAjQUN_l
english breakfast for me and king cole even tho tea has more caffine in it
Not tried that one, we are Yorkshire Tea loyalists 🤣 🫖
@SeanandEmily Did you talked to Adam?
Who’s Adam?
we drink coffee like yall drink tea here in america. tea here in america is sweet with sugar or non sweat. thats mostly it.
It's interesting the how different cultures drink different things. When I was in the states I was surprised by the amount of different coffee's to choose from (dripped) whereas in Europe coffee is mostly just a shot of Espresso.
@@SeanandEmily haha , yall probably cridged at tea drinkers here then. love yalls videos. could yall do a little mention of the fitting of yalls helmets. sizing, etc,,,,,
good job we like coffee too 😉
We did a prep video at the start of this playlist :

Yes you are right
