Great film and really like the Enfield 350-something nice and simple about a smaller capacity bike. What’s that tent? Does it come with a chimney hole? Thanks for posting! Found it on another video of yours-pomoly 👍
Just one question. Having tried a portable camping BBQ years ago that was still too hot in the morning to pack away meaning it had to be cooled with water resulting in a ash sludge over everything packed around it,how long did it take the wood stove to be safe? Your camping style puts some of the Air BnB's I've used to shame
I reckon it took about an hour to 1.5 hour from when the fire went out to me packing it away, the chimney was a still a little warm but once I unravelled it it cooled very quickly. My particular stove is quite thin titanium so I imagine that helps it cool more quickly.
What about carrying capacity vs power up hills, too much contrast to the T120 or is the lighter bike better for country road maneuverability therefore a better bike for camping assuming the big horsepower difference? At any rate always enjoyable videos, thanks.
Glad you liked it Mike. I would say the T120 handles the weight a bit better, obviously there's loads of power and the weight of the bike makes it feel more stable with a load on it. The 350 is still very good, but I noticed it felt a bit more 'wobbly' and the weight of the camping gear definitely hindered the engine at the top range as I couldn't quite get to 70mph on the way home. On smaller roads though it's perfectly fine.
When I saw how much gear you had on the back of "Donkey" I was thinking, the bike is aptly named....and maybe you need a trailer 😂. Great video Matt, cheers.
