I know that when the video was done on these with SMKW Case said this was going to be a whole series under the XR line and there will be several different pattern offerings from them in this XR Line. So yes Andrew we should see many different patterns of knifes in the XR Line. Thank you buddy for the video…. And I absolutely love the Red layer showing in you XX ….. don’t let that go Andrew at all !!!! It’s cool and unique looking. Blessings Andrew ❤️👍🙏
Wow I’m regretting right away not buying one of these I’m gonna have to get one now this is why I don’t watch as much as many videos as I could just because I stopped seeing things I want and I’m just trying to catch up on some of the videos of yours that I missed and this just so happens to be one and I already just ordered $500 worth of knives since Friday to today Sunday night at 6:53 Pigem and I spent almost $500 on knives this thing is really nice I’m really impressed with this one thank you for sharing this God bless you and your family
This one is limited so not sure its available anumore. They do have other wood ones a green wood. And shepherd hills has the brown micarta. SMKW has the green micarta. And there is black micarta with green liners. You will find one Shawn. If you need help let me know.
Yep… that’s a doozy Mr Baxter! Really nice. I love it! Great color combo! And that, is a beautiful Sodbuster collection. 👍👍 A most excellent video! Cheers, RW
I was intrigued when I saw the SMKW video introducing these and hinting that other models will be offered. The red and gray looks fantastic. It has me debating which to choose. Very cool knife. Thanks for sharing it with us.
Just got my first Sod Buster Jr. about a week or so ago and I am hooked. I'm thinking this one will be my next knife. I really like the persimmon orange too.
Very cool Shephard hill just released brown burlap micarta amd red G10 liners. Not sure if these black and red wood ones will come back in stock. Maybe but they said 1 of 400.
I found a Black/Red 1/400 model and expect it next week. Also preordered a Micarta Black from another seller. For the S35VN a very good price on this iconic pattern. Very timely review, reminded me to search 👍
Great video brother Andrew. Im really looking forward to getting one of these. Id definitely say case will come out with other patterns. Hey maybe they will throw some carbon steel blades in them things 😲 Now that would be straight fire. 👍👍
Great look at he new release. It does look to be as thick as the synthetic Sod Busters. According to the Case Rep and what I have heard, they actually have an entire different crop of craftsmen work on these their modern torqued together traditionals. This will definitely rival the GEC knives. You seem to have as much problems cutting paper on camera as I do!
I love this. I know EricasEDC is pissed about it, and I feel for her, but I still welcome this from Case. I hope to get my hands on one sooner than later.
I really want one but I don't care much for s35vn but I still want one. I really wish I knew if the s35vn was done really well or not. I really hope they do this run in both the Jr and the full sized sod I would really love one of each!
Thanks baxter, you do know I mean completely disassembling, like my Modern knives. Have not seen a complete break down. Tough to get these knives and don’t want to go somewhere I can’t get back to, so I usually Waite until I see the knife community do one🙈 Buy the way I watch your videos all the time, great❤️
@JuliannJamison Very cool Juliann! Im not gonna take mine completely apart unless i have to. Some slipjoints can be hard to put back together but it has been done on Jack wolfs so it is possible. Just depends on howmuch locktite they put on the screws. You may need extra!
@ thank you for your response, I feel you are correct and won’t take fully apart unless I have to. Time will tell how complicated the re-assembly is. I hope case makes covers to modify the knife; that will be very cool. Thanks Baxter see you in your next video. ✌️
@JuliannJamison just a heads up Shepard hills has there exclusive if you havent seen it. Brown burlap and Red liners. Glad i can help. And thank you so much for watching!👊💥🐯
Case has already done a full carbon fiber version of the trapper, the stockman and the sod buster before... so it's not a totally new idea... the bigger catch is that they have used torx... that's tne big change.
@@BaxtersBlades Yeah... so many companies I have noticed over the last year or two... especially those longer standing knives... will launch a new product based off older designs.... and then advertise them like wow... look what we did. But with that said... FYI... Case runs their S35VN very soft.
I do feel bad for the guy moding the sod busters... but if Case didn't make the knife first... they wouldn't have had something to mod. It's an ugly catch 22.

Thank you Steven! Very interesting! Im gonna hold onto this one.

Thank you David!
These looks great, thanks for showing it!
Thanks for checking it out Rando!!👊💥
Very cool Sodbuster and price is right for s35! 👍
For sure Doug! Thank you!
I was intrigued when I saw the SMKW video introducing these and hinting that other models will be offered. The red and gray looks fantastic. It has me debating which to choose. Very cool knife. Thanks for sharing it with us.
Thank you Mo! Like I said looking forward to the green micarta one!
Good looking soddy Andrew, I like it. Take care bud.🇺🇲👍
Thank you Steve!
Very cool Baxter! I have the other wooden one on order for a December delivery. You’re such a lucky tiger.
Thank you Chris!!
Great looking Soddy. Thanks for showing. Still leery of the Case "lottery."
Thank you David!
I just ordered this. Looking forward to receiving it. Love a Buster.
Very cool Party on Wayne!!
I love the S35VN, and the cutout nail nick… I ordered the Black Micarta one!
Very cool Randy! Bet thats gonna be really nice! Cannot wait to see the review!

Baxter, you got lucky - well assembled *and* sharp!👍 It sure looks good, but I think I’ll save up for one of the “traditionals” in bonestag.
Very cool Mike!
Get the Sowbelly. It's phenomenal
@@patrickmunneke8348 which one? I have 2 Case stockmans, 2 rosecraft and 2 RRs and a Marbles!
@BaxtersBlades The Sowbelly Case stockman.
If the RoseCraft had 3 blades i would have bought it. And the senator if it had a secondary.
@patrickmunneke8348 they are amazing I have 2. And my original sticking creek video i compare both. Stag is uploading now.
I found a Black/Red 1/400 model and expect it next week. Also preordered a Micarta Black from another seller.
For the S35VN a very good price on this iconic pattern.

Very cool! Your gonna love it!
Sweet looking knives Andrew
Thank you Jeff!!
@BaxtersBlades you are very welcome Andrew.
Very nice sodbuster! I think there's gonna be a bunch of new stuff. They didn't make that blue box for a few knives.
Very cool! Looking forward to seeing what else they will do! Thank you Mike!
I love it, but I’m a huge bone and stag fan, I wouldn’t want to have to choose between the three. Have a awesome day Andrew.👍🇨🇦🇺🇸🔪
Thank you David!!
Great video brother Andrew. Im really looking forward to getting one of these. Id definitely say case will come out with other patterns. Hey maybe they will throw some carbon steel blades in them things 😲 Now that would be straight fire. 👍👍

I agree! And thank you for the Info! They are making some really great stuff these days!
Great pick up , I’m a SV steel guy, you know it took me about a two years before I bought my first Soddy jr when I started collecting then…………
Took me a while to buy my first soddy also. Thank you JC!
I love this. I know EricasEDC is pissed about it, and I feel for her, but I still welcome this from Case. I hope to get my hands on one sooner than later.
Very cool! Yah i feel for them. Im sure they will still get orders though.
Let’s go Andrew !!!!!! ❤️👏🥳👍
Thank you Steven!!
Dude I gotta get one of those, I saw the SMKW version. I always use my Soddy and get blade wobble so hopefully the screw part will cure that. ❤
The green is gonna be cool! Thank you James!
That's on sweet Soddy!
135 years and free R and D from Utubers but their catching on😂😂
For sure Jon!!
I really want one but I don't care much for s35vn but I still want one. I really wish I knew if the s35vn was done really well or not. I really hope they do this run in both the Jr and the full sized sod I would really love one of each!
That would be cool but looks like they are all S35VN so far.
I really wish Case would make a locking sodbuster
Maybe someday. Or just get a roper tumbleweed
I wonder if the one you got was a pilot piece ?
Quit possible.
That’s nice. Is that hollow grind like the CV versions?
No. It feels like a flat grind.
@ that’s cool. But it has good cutting geometry right
@LuisGonzalez-gl4wc I will have to do more testing on this one. Just got it. But CV or CS hollow grind is probably sliceyer.
@@BaxtersBlades That’s good to know. Thanks
Can you disassemble the knife?
Yes you can if you have the right Torx tools. Bobs pocket knives re centered his blade. He has a short on that.
Thanks baxter, you do know I mean completely disassembling, like my Modern knives. Have not seen a complete break down. Tough to get these knives and don’t want to go somewhere I can’t get back to, so I usually Waite until I see the knife community do one🙈

they need to make one with a lock back and pocket clip
I have one! It is called a buck 112 slim pro!😁
They must have enough people who don't return them to let the crappy ones get out to people.
For sure they do.
Case has already done a full carbon fiber version of the trapper, the stockman and the sod buster before... so it's not a totally new idea... the bigger catch is that they have used torx... that's tne big change.
