Happened to me once with a game Tomato played, called ADACA. He was such utter dogshit at it that I was physically unwell from rage after getting through the VOD. Recently picked up a copy of it off Steam and beat the entire campaign in a single sitting. The Zone Patrol mode was really fun too, but that took me a lot longer.

I'm broke af at the moment, but the fact that they even bothered to include a "tinnitus effect" option for those awful, high-pitched 'dazed' sound effects makes me wanna support the game on that merit alone. Wish more devs would consider how overwhelming (or outright painful) those kinds of intense auditory effects can actually be

Wow, Vinny plays Ion Fur... Oh wait.
It's a little painful seeing Vinny miss obvious secrets, but I also had a bit of a problem differentiating cracked breakable walls from the wall cracks caused by kicking enemies into walls. Also, from inputting the System Shock code a few times, an easter egg email gets sent to the PDA, which Vinny didn't read.
Well the shotgun has an upgrade which makes cracked walls more visible. No idea how obvious does it make them though since I haven't the upgrade yet.

Fun fact, in a really early build of the game there was a bug that made it possible to flush yourself down the toilet
The lead dev contemplated making a secret level out of it but decided not to (don’t remember the reason)

oh dang I didn't realize this was out yet. I've been waiting for awhile and this looks to be everything I would want in a cyberpunk boomer shooter
My favorite thing about Selaco so far is how extensive the gameplay options are. There's a lot of replayability there between the difficulty options themselves and all the mutators. (Hardcore Scarcity on higher difficulty settings is just hellish.)
Been doing rifle start, and have been running into some pretty big ammo issues because it all gets zeroed out (especially AR ammo). Also when the game decides to yoink your weapons is a little random. Usually on revisit?
Game is absolutely sick tho
Evil Dead 2013 is probably my favorite straight-horror Evil Dead so I'm VERY excited to see Alvarez's take on Alien.

This game feels a bit like Cultic but with a futuristic theme, see a lot of potential going forward with this one.
To me it's more FEAR meets Blood. But Blood was also the primary inspiration for Cultic, so it's easy to see where the overlap in opinion comes from lol

Selaco is so far looking like my GOTY, only if a full v1.0 game comes out this year that's somehow mindblowing will it not be.
Multifunction Meter MK.II would help Melpy with those secrets & upgrades, he was right that it does something, but lost it early.
I'm expecting to see in the patch notes soon that they added coiled shit. If not, we must petition the dev to make this happen.

Great game, good to have some FPS that is not another arena shooter clone.
This is what I think would be the "perfect" or "dream" version of the original Star Wars trilogy: You could go through yourself and pick and choose which special edition changes you want and which ones you don't want, to make your own customized version for you to watch, in the way that you prefer it. So you could watch it with none of the changes (like they originally were in the theater) or you could add in some of the changes that you do like, and leave out all the ones you do not like. Obviously, I don't see any way that could ever possibly happen though, unless Disney gives us a whole lot of freedom over it (which they most certainly would not).
Much like the Bible, future generations will have different versions of Star Wars curated by scholars and historians.

Might be my GOTY. Music is great level design are nice and upgrade mechanics is cool. Dont get me wrong i like the old school shooters but in my opinion this is the perfect design what shooters should be.

I think Selaco is a bit different than Gloomwood in that "chapter one" of Selaco is the length of the full campaigns of some other shooters.

I've seen a lot of people on the hype train and noped it. But I'll watch Vin play it. He doesn't sugar coat shit.
Alien Isolation is great but it's kinda crusty on the edges with bugs and the end of it barring the last like 15-30 minutes or so is just padded out with 2-3hrs of running around backtracking getting hassled by androids and dudes with guns.
In which Vinny gets lost because he was busy talking about 60-year-old music.
