Ha ha, I feel like I'm looking in a mirror. This is EXACTLY how I learned it. No Pick, play in 1 position. Jordan Miller plays everything of the E string up and down the neck. Too inefficient for me.

Dear Friend, we share the same methodology :) I listen to the song a lot too. I mean "a lot". And then practice a lot. I love to spend time with bass guitar at home. Music instruments are more honest, more friendly than the humans indeed :v The Beaches are cool. The bass lines seems to be easy but a bit tricky actually. It is just a matter of time and patience. You will play it much better than I do, I'm sure. Anyway we all owe it to Brett, actually. Because he made a mess of the things as far as I understand. We all had Bretts in our lives and we all have been Bretts to others for sure. Frankly speaking, songs with familiar, real daily stories are more fun to practise for their bass lines I think :) Wishing you all the best. Greetings from Ankara İV :)
