For me, that dodgy trem arm is a deal breaker for me, especially at that price. My Charvel So Cal was less than half the price and has a genuine Floyd Rose and tapped Seymour Duncan p/ups. Okay, so it didn't come with a hardcase, but I bought a Tourtech for £60, and the price still came in at less than half the price.
The trem has a little screw on it that tightens the bar he just doesn't know
looks like a hamer/ibanez love child. 25 years later though. not bringing much to the table, electric guitar making is a pretty conservative world
Hi Henning, there is a small set screw at the back to tighten the tremolo arm. My Gotoh 1996T has it, you can check if that helps keep the arm in place. Cheers!
I was thinking; Come on Henning, you should know by now! Check for the adjustment screw, you've missed this before, and have been corrected before. ;-)
Thanks Vanessa ....well done! In a couple of years you can let that old guy sitting beside you move out of the way and you can do the introduction demo. Just try not to make him look to incompetent! be nice. LOL
Mensch! The Gotoh 1996T has a little hex screw on the back of the arm bushing to adjust the drag and avoid the "play", biggest advantage over the OFR, which always has play no matter how tight you screw it (what she said). Same system as on the Wilkinson 2 point trem...made...by...G...h hahaha. The internal screwing thingy in the arm is just there so your arm doesn't fly off if (when) you go verrueckt on the wiggly stick. Beautiful axe, and Vola finally started doing contoured neck heels vs the F-style shitbrick. :D

I didn’t know Vola came in this price range. To save up and get a quality instrument, this would be it! Great review with a guest. Killer guitar, this brand absolutely rocks.
Vanessa seems very nice and plays great. But I miss KIANA. Was there some kind of conflict between Henning and Kiana? Or, more likely I am sure, did their paths simply diverge and they went their separate ways in good spirits? Just curious is all - and hope Kiana is doing well wherever the Guitar Girl road takes her. :) Always thought these Volas were interesting but honestly, nothing compelling enough for me to choose them over Ibanez...sure the included hard case is nice but I'm not buying guitars for the cases :P :)
Kiana started a new job and training and got too busy and there is also a considerable distance to where she lives now. We are still great friends!

The trem arm wobbling around is annoying but it can be easily fixed by cutting a small piece off of an ear plug rolling it up and shoving it into the hole.
after watching a few of your videos, i'll give you a humble opinion. either your guitars are note properly set up, or you are pressing the notes to hard weith your fingers, speacially in the lighter strings, and many notes you play on those strings sound out of tune. hope this does not offend you.
Good show, but why aren't you and Vanessa six feet apart? Love the guitar but too bright in tone as you mentioned. The color is awesome and I would call it tangerine at least on my computer.

Vola is making great looking & quality instruments... i love this Luna :) I had the chance to hear & see Pierre Danel & Quentin Godet from 'Kadinja', these guitars (and guitarists) are absolute BEAST ! very nice review !
