I feel like Pitties often have crazy personalities because they are such people-pleasers (and intelligent), so if they do something a bit mad and you laugh, they will remember it makes you laugh and do it over and over again.

I'm just saying, that coat is classic Catahoula. And Catahoula are more likely to have blue eyes, even though boxes and pits occasionally have them.

Having pets is completely worldly thing. God doesn't have anything to do with it. Dogs are scavengers and dirty stray dogs to Him.

Sometimes there's a severe injury, illness or death and many (if not most) family members won't take in that person's dog. Some people don't have anyone to take their dog in an emergency. Then there are those hateful, so-called humans, that won't even bother taking the pet to a rescue and just dump dogs.
I'm so glad Margot found a great person and home!
That's right. You should always organise a safe place or friend/family who can take in your pets in case of emergencies. I live on my own, and due to illness, have organised this as sometimes I'll have to go to hospital for emergency, but ultimately I know I can leave this life early, so I've made sure that in these cases whether it's short or permanent that there are people who I trust to do right by my babies. Knowing that they will be cared for is a huge relief.
@@m6666 The sad truth is that even though many people make arrangements for the care of their pets in the event of an emergency or death, many family members say they'll take the pets, then end up dropping them at a rescue, at a kill shelter or dumping them. I've seen videos of pets being rescued after being taken to a kill-shelter or being dumped. It's the saddest thing to dogs that have been in a loving home and then are confused and afraid because they don't know what's happening. ☹️
@rose.g. I understand that, my brother isn't particularly keen on animals, but when I first got sick my neighbours helped look after them. They had a large dog and so did I, but they were an older couple and found it too difficult, so 🤔 called my brother who travelled 2 hours to come and pick up my girl and put her in boarding kennels. He also went to my house every 2nd or 3rd day to look after my cats and the neighbours did the other days. I've since moved however and have 2 smaller dogs (the other girl passed away), I've shared phone numbers between my brother and a couple of really good animal loving friends, and between them I know that my wishes for my babies will be followed. My brother actually asked me once if I was leaving everything to my dogs so someone could care for them for the rest of their lives. I'm not doing that, I have someone who will take the dogs and someone else who will take the cats and I wholeheartedly trust these people knowing how they look after their own pets. You have to be careful as to who you ask to take on such duties otherwise like you said your pets could end up at a shelter or worse.

Confession: I thought I had no idea what this was 'til I just looked it up😁... & watched a short video showing dogs plunging into the water to some groovy music!😀 They seem to love it! And I then recalled seeing it on tv once in the UK a few years ago.😊
@@T-hs2qm Quite the variety of dogs that take a liking to the dock dogs competitions. Not only the retriever breeds, but literally any dog that likes to chase a thrown object and go splashing into water for fun!

This dog is beautiful inside and outside! Her coloring, spots,and different color eyes -she is absolutely gorgeous! Inside she is a real love bug and so eager to please! She finally has someone who really loves her and who she loves back just as much! She is so cute! One thing l have learned about animals is that they love to entertain. If you laugh or show amazement at a certain behavior, it will be repeated and expanded upon. Small children will do the same. This lovely girl takes it to new levels. She is a person. She will do her own thing but it takes nothing away from the love she feels for her mom.

She is gorgeous and she's just like my girl nessie who's a blue/Grey 80% American staffordshire terrier 20% apbt. Their personalities all seem to be the happiest and sweetest and craziest in a good way. Their are no strangers to nessie and she wants to kiss everyone, even going into the vet her whole body wiggles and she's so excited to say hi to everyone. Whoever abandoned her didn't deserve her and I'm glad you and her found each other.

Margot is such a wonderful pup! It would be awesome to be her hooman. Having a walking companion like that would be fantastic; I'd take her on walks and hikes everywhere. And best of all, she is like a living, breathing, warm and cuddly weighted blanket! One of the pitties I have dog-sat for is just like that. He has to have his head on your lap or be laying right next to you or preferably, on top of you.
