I’ve been obsessed with this game. I have 20 hours in so far. One of my biggest complaints is, I think that automatically taking IDs should be off by default because the whole point is for like Kira to be able to gaslight and help the investigation and gain trust of people to be able to cause chaos and create false alibis like how light did in the anime so I think having automatic ID on by default is kind of a bag fumble in my opinion because it makes the meta like weird where everybody views only the investigator that get to be confirmed from the L mission to clear people and then check everyone one by one and that’s only effective if ID automatic taking is on

It seems they didnt realize that the testimonys they recieve are actual evidence of activitys, not just ways to progress the investigation meters. the way they say notebook, does that mean ONLY the deathnote or does it also include investigators who open their regular notebook (NVM its says "BLACK" notebook)
Wish you guys were using the game chat. The proximity chat and ingame chat make it more entertaining. Plus you are missing out on unique events and interactions

not sure how you didn't figure out that it was biscuit it was really obvious. edit: you know what? i'm bored. i'm going to show you all the clear evidence where it should have been very obvious. let's start with the most blatant: at 15:58, a kira command card is used. pay close attention to the next minute, where biscuit is seen in and runs out of that building as soon as globku enters. soon after, a testimony is acquired saying someone was writing in a black notebook in the middle of the day. if you look at the time, which has been paused, it's at midday. but cigol was there earlier, so it could be him. however, he was there much earlier. therefore, the only one available as suspect would be biscuit. around 8:30, cigol and enderup chase globku around. you may think this is suspicious, but the fact he did not die soon after proves that both of them are safe. maybe cigol was a follower, though? seeing as the id wasn't stolen at the time of the meeting, however, that cannot be. he also takes a testimony after this, and avoids contact with globku. by the time of the first meeting, a good amount of people are cleared. this could just be a follower trying to remove suspicion from kira, though, so let's disregard all of that and only trust what we see. around 16:40, cigol, canny, and dom should be cleared of suspicion. a minute later, we get dunk's journal, and guess who's got a note on them? this really should've been enough.
after playing the game i enjoy it but i do wish they made L a little bit harder to get cause i’ve had too many Games end immediately cause L was the first to go from a lucky pick
@@dublethetruble4620 I do agree that L should be trying to keep themselves as safe as possible to avoid the investigation ending. however i do agree as well that having L die early on day 1 and the game ending without any way to prevent or combat it from the investigators feels extremely unfair, especially considering how Kira could bombrush a random investigator blatantly steal their id then write it in the deathnote, even if EVERYONE knows it does not matter. Here are a few ideas that could combat this. A) if L dies, then their is a final vote in place if investigators have majority. if they dont vote out kira that round then its game and kira wins B) If L dies D1, then Near/Real L will take over as the investigation just began and then if Near/Real L dies then it is game. Kira killing L D1 will instead of winning the game will drastically increase the new world order meter (by 33/50% ideally) so it still rewards them for getting L out immediately
@@bagseys I’ve played more of the game and I have way more of an understanding than I did before on how the game works. L is actually the one at a huge advantage already. Mainly with the voting system as he has priority. I’ve been in games where the last three people were L, Kira, and confirmed investigator. Unfortunately Kira and L voted for eachother, and investigator voted out L, when all he had to do was skip since Ls vote takes priority on a draw. Realistically if L told the investigator beforehand that he was L, they can vote out both Kira and his follower with just the two of them. All they have to do is keep everyone else away and wait for them to die. Kira killing actually puts him at a disadvantage that way. If Kira knows this, he can counter by prioritizing filling the meter, but even then if toggle automatic steal IDs is off then they can be found out sooner rather than later. Kira can Sabotage the confirm investigator thing, so that’s actually huge. Although L could honestly recklessly vote random people and them being killed only serves to help him. And what’s the likelihood that you manage to vote out Kira or his follower eventually? The odds are also 1/8, then what? Game over. Another way for Kira to win would be by gaslighting the other members to voting out who you think is L, if investigator vouches for him then the probability he is L increases and you can try stealing his ID but again if you play L right it’ll be very difficult without the coordination of you and Kira follower. In summary, I really don’t think L needs near or an extra life. There’s so much potential that people just haven’t really noticed yet.
I just love how this game took the concept of among us and said... "nah we can add more depth to this." If you really want to make it personal this game is a 1v1 of wits with L vs K
@@kevooo3619 most people don't use the tranceiver because of problems with voice chat in game, and the game is heavily based on among us and it's very, VERY fucking rare if anyone ever does use impostor communications in-game (not in-meetings). if crewmate can't communicate during meetings, then impostor shouldn't either. like in this game and how many people play it, most people would only communicate during meetings. i'd actually argue it's much easier to focus on gameplay if you're not talking out loud or paying attention to what other people are saying. just because it's in the game doesn't mean it's a good idea and that people SHOULD use it.
You can see Kira or Kira followers steal or write on the Death Note, because the surveillance cameras are set on places where Team Kira would usually write death notes to avoid suspicion.
Peak game. It’s underrated but it would be more popular if the game was released for mobile and Xbox. This is the best death note game we have gotten since all other games were just dialog games. I wish he got the actual characters and not the dolls but it’s alright. I still hope they will add Teru Mikami my fav character
A new style of amongus is a great I loved the old amongus videos, though I can barely understand what's going on other than the kira side is trying to steal IDs to get Kira kills.
I see great enjoyment from this game, however i feel the best way to play is without automatic stealing of Id. it should be an option. Mindgames is what make this game fantastic and cause a kira follower can be arrested and not eliminated if they dont have anything incriminating on them. it can allow for interesting plays. Also question for people in chat. Do you think that you should have the ability to return an ID to someone if you have the time to. maybe have it take a little longer but allow for you to not be incriminated in reports. or maybe you can only return a dead ID? Im still dont understand the fullest nature of the IDs
Voice chat is needed because it also allows team kira to communicate privately. And since this is also a console game typing would not be easy on console. It would take too long
Bro I saw someone using the death note but I’m banned from voice chat for a month so I couldn’t say anything but I told them trough the messages I saw him with the notebook and then I got voted and I was L so I died next game but I left before they scene played all the way trough if there gonna be dumb and not believe me then they can start all over again I rather be an investigator or Kira overall good game

I'm not sure if it's enabled, but there's an option so Kira and Follower don't have to swipe IDs every time they come into contact with someone.

You can change it in the settings but most lobbies will have default options so yeah

@@bagseys adding Near and Mello as special roles definitely makes sense as an extra life deal, especially in games with more followers

After playing for a while, there are some small points that are similar to Among Us, but this game has some systems that are unique to it
Does the surveillance camera button do anything useful?

it would be nice, but I assume the reason you can't is that the kill ability has no way of checking past possession of an ID so it doesn't quite work
There is a setting you can turn on that gives you a toggle for stealing IDs.
