How do you hang ducks on your duck strap? From the head or Feet?
Multiple packs of batteries, head lamps, a multi tool, and gun oil are on the top of my list for my blind bag!

Have for the most part always hung them by the heads on my bird strap.
Those "cheap" headlights are perfect for the reasons you stated. I have one in each of my blind bags.
Ie use the Ultimate Gun Sling here in the PNW. The rubber sling grips nicely and doesn't slip when you're wet. The 2 strap feature is excellent for setting decoys. You don't have to worry about dropping your shotgun when bending over.

Im a feet up guy. I’ve got a homemade paracord strap with a carabiner clip I use 👍🏾
The red also preserves your night vision, which is why I use it when i can.

I usually just throw my birds in my decoy bag.
I saw a guy selling a bird stringers $250 each made of paracord and it had a tag on it.
A few days ago I received a Kansas gamebird magazine that had a story about a guide that was busted by the feds for not having his birds tagged ???
Do you guys tag your birds? Are they tagged in your freezer, and is there a limit to how many birds you can have in your freezer ?
