- i got the keys and finally saw my FULLY RENOVATED STUDIO APARTMENT (don't worry there is an empty apartment tour). in this moving in nyc vlog, i did a countdown to move in and filmed moving prep each day- like packing, my ikea trip (and tj maxx & home goods & more) and everything getting ready to move. finally i am moving into my apartment and so excited!

Super pretty apartment with lots of charm! (One thing I noticed...Super Important!! ask your landlord about this...the plug in the bathroom above the sink needs to be a special one: All outlets must be GFCIs (ground-fault circuit interrupters), to protect from electrocution. GFCI outlets prevent electrical shocks by tripping and disconnecting the circuit power if they sense an imbalance in current flow-something that can be caused by, among other things, the presence of water. It has a little red button in the middle of it) and yours is right above the sink! Looking forward to watching your other vlogs.

The new place is super cute! Most people shy away from studios but I think they are perfect for one person. My daughter's last studio was 600 sq ft with an in-unit washer and dryer. It was perfect. I haven't seen the new place yet because she moved back to Cali *sad face* but I will when I visit.

I've watched a few of your videos and I love your content. I lived in NYC for 14 years. You seem very self motivated. I'm sorry to say this but I don't get a good feeling about your boyfriend in this video (as well as other videos). It seems like he undermines you. Perhaps by now, you are no longer together. How can you move out knowing u leaving ur aging parents behind seems so selfish to me- i think instead of moving out like westerners maybe actually learn to cook and clean in your own house. trust me you will get more satsifaction staying with family and learning to do hosuehold chores no need to move out. Also you will learn to adjust and compromise which is very important for indian girls nowadays
