- I FINALLY AM MOVING INTO MY NYC STUDIO APARTMENT. this is my final episode of moving in nyc &. i am so grateful for all the support i have gotten over the course of this series. i can't wait to decorate and furnish my new studio apartment and share all of that with you in the coming months. watch this whole video to see the movers, some of my furniture, a bathroom tour, and how my first weekend in my apartment went. also a recap of my empty apartment tour if you missed it ;)

I absolutely adore the way you set up your bathroom! Your apartment is so adorable, and I wish you nothing but the best of luck with your new apartment. Can I just see the view whenever you read this. A long long long time ago when I was young and had energy I lived right across the river in North Bergen, New Jersey. I had the best view of the city and then I would take a little bus into the city and I went to John J University. Unfortunately, I got very sick with multiple autoimmune illnesses, Lyme, Bartonella, neuropathies, and I also became very ill with mental health due to the inflammation that my brain had endured during my very serious flare of Lupus and Lyme disease. My Depression, Anxiety and Panic attacks never went away and I had to move back in with my Mom. I never finished graduate school in forensic psychology and I have never been stable enough either mentally or physically to live in NYC on my own, which was where I was headed.
Oh Gosh, I’m sorry I got off on a tangent but watching your videos let’s me live healthy and happy Vicariously through you!!! Thank you for making me smile today because it was psychically a very hard day!!! Always follow your dreams honey🪩🩰 🎶😄

Such a great place ! The fireplace gives it such a cozy homey feel. Just throwing an idea out to you….how would it work to put your bed parallel to the windows or even headboard between the windows then your bureau on the wall next to the fireplace?
yes i love the fireplace! i like that set up idea! i probably will use it at some point i LOVE rearranging my room every few months so I will probably end up organizing it like that at some point😂
Your boyfriend is very patient...should be a keeper!... he's drilling and working away in your apt. and you're there talking to your camera!!...lol!!...cute apt. Looks like you'll have fun decorating and getting situated...things seemed to go relatively smooth with your move and moving is always chaotic even if you plan the move well. Best of luck settling in!!...stay safe!!

Order a “Door Security Bar” from Amazon.
Also, ask your Super to check your radiator. It should not be making that noise. The stove and light are important. Make sure your landlord gets things done in a timely fashion. You gave him rent + security up front and the exchange includes a fully working stove and track lighting among other things. Best wishes in your new place...😉

I'm in the thick of apartment hunting right now and it's so aggresive and brokers don't seems to be that helpful because there's so much interest. I can't believe they built a closet for you!
it is sooo aggressive right now, i just happened to get SUPER lucky with a random broker i found online who was so helpful. hopefully it gets better for you soon!
Turn the bath mat in front of the bathroom sink lengthwise it will look better

Heyyy I really like your personality and your video is good but one thing I think you could do to improve is maybe make a little montage if the things you are doing, like you spoke a lot about what you were going to do, but didn’t show us if that makes sense. I understand since you are still pretty new filming in public can be awkward or embarrassing but even just a couple clips of the boba you got, or the Açai bowl, or at target putting a couple items in your cart or basket, or even just a couple of cool clips from your walks or while the subway. I hope this helps and I’m definitely going to subscribe to follow your progress as you get more views
are the floors super loud or is the speaker just really picking the noise up?
when i first moved in they were VERY loud but as i have added furniture it has gotten a lot better! hopefully after i add a rug that will fix the last of it!

i know 😅 i put some rugs down but tbh it hasn't gotten much better and definitely starting to get on my nerves hahah i need to figure out how to fix it

i saved up to plan for my move, but i also was working full time throughout the process!
First and foremost you need curtains,people across the way can look in if they have magnifying glass its even easier to peep,thats my biggest fear..get curtains

Is it worth paying for brokers fee?
i would say it is worth paying a brokers fee if you are planning on being in the apartment for a few years. if you are planning on only spending a year there sometimes it doesn't seem worth it. that is what a real estate agent told me once!
Hi great journey! Vlogging tip is to look at us in lieu of yourself in the camera - its a little distracting that it looks like you are looking past us - otherwise your vlogs are great and i’m sure you will grow a bunch!
