Thank's for making this video, you have no idea how your information helps other's. I'm watching this video at school (community college) You were my teacher today! Thank You.
Great video, there are so many options for this stuff. On thing to consider talking about in the future is box adapters. I didn’t know they there a thing until recently.
I appreciate the education.. I only had seen a few of these between Lowe’s and Home Depot .. I will be utilizing some form of conduit on a ceiling lamp project. Wiring from behind basement wall through to the kitchen. I wanted conduit to hide the wires.
Thank you! Great info. Gave me some ideas on how to fix a whirl=pool tub that is in our house. The electric to it is horrible. Going to use one of your suggested conduit types to fix. Don't know why anyone would give you a thumbs down on this. Thanks Again. - Michael St. Louis-St. Peters, MO 10-5-19
You said EMT stand for electrical metal conduit but I think you meant to say EMT stands for electrical metallic tubing which is a type of conduit. Don’t worry we all mess up sometimes. Good video😃
Thank you for the video. I cannot figure out how to connect 1 1/2-inch conduit to 1 inch conduit body using a reducer or a reducer busing. I am wondering if you have an example that you can share.
The silver compression connector wasn’t rain tight. That was just a normal compression connector there was no rubber gasket. And rain tights are either blue or black
Thanks for the info . Do you have a video on how to run a cable underground from my utility closet(breaker box) to an existing shed About 20 feet from my house .
What is the best conduit for 3 independent circuits in the same conduit ? Indoor, I will need a jonction box to output one of the 3 circuits. The two others go in the same direction. One will be an indoor outlet the other one will be an outdoor outlet. 2 x 15 amps + 1 x 20 amps or 1 x 15 amps + 2 x 20 amps
Can you please show how to connect conduit adapter on the box? Why don’t we make hole in the box and directly attach the pvc conduit. What’s the problem? Thanks
Best practice is NEVER use POS due cast fittings especially garbage made in India. If you happen to have a die cast set screw fitting tight and move conduit some fitting will often egg shape &/ crack. Seldom use the what you called a tight 90degree fitting especially if using solid wires. Better off using a LB condulets with cover . Must use expansion fitting on all PVC maybe over 10' long where exposed to different temperatures such as outdoors. A 100' run of PVC ran in a 100 degree temperature spread ( O in winter to 100degrres in summer ) will expand or contract 4". In industrial & commercial work most electricians will never use 1)2" EMT but rather a lot stronger 3/4".
I am trying to hook up a transfer switch for a generator but having problem making a bent to the 6/3 wire to run it to the transfer switch once I have it through the wall. Help, please.
Good lookin out, fam. I'd love to see how some of these typically fit into an electrical box. IE: a 10 gauge needs a 1 inch conduit, a 14 gauge can do 1/2 inch, etc. A demo on connecting them up.
Exactly what I was looking for. It has been a long time since I worked with wiring, and there are lots of new fittings/technology. In the way of a constructive comment, I'd suggest that your videos would be well served by working off of an outline, rather than just winging it. You obviously know your material, but the presentation comes across as a little slap-dash and non-comprehensive. Knowing the main points you want to make about each item you discuss would make a big difference. Another technique issue: have your camera person do the zooming as the objects that are pushed at the camera go out of focus. Overall, good video - I'll look for more.
FYI...National Electrical Code does NOT allow for rigid coupling to be used as a 'from-to' or transition from one type of raceway to another. 300.15 states: "Fittings and connectors shall be used only with the specific wiring methods for which they are designed and listed." Rigid couplings are listed and approved for use on RMC ONLY. There are many U.L. listed fittings for transitioning from one type of raceway/cable to another.
I need to run my non metallic for 200' and longest they come is 100' lengths. How would I tie the two non metallic piece together? Gorilla tape and electric over it? LOL
Never purchase or use die cast electrical fittings made in lack of quality control India. Pure garbage. Have them egg shape & crack. I only use the 90 degree fitting as a last resort. Way better using a LB condulet especially if have a lot of wires. Should mention that you must use an expansion fitting when running lengths of PVC. A few inspectors on my northern climate now want them on PVC that feeds underground to a low mounted meter socket. Cases where after PVC pulled out of female adapters that.wire pulled out of meter terminals.
What I liked most about this video is that it was pure information, no hype, no selling and the intro was amazing.
You have helped far more than one person, and I'm certainly one of those people. Thanks, you've given us great information.
Bro you caught my attention within 30 seconds, genuine guy helping others this info is basic but essential
Today I learnt from you, greetings from the desert of Saudi Arabia.
Straight to the point rundown of various conduits. Thanks for providing all of this info.

Much appreciated! Excellent overview and answered a lot of questions in a short period of time!
This was very helpful, especially part about transitions from pvc to emt.
Huge help!!!! Thank you so much!! Just saved illiterate me from buying totally the wrong connectors... Now I’ll go buy the right ones. Thank you!! 😅🙏🏼
Great video, there are so many options for this stuff. On thing to consider talking about in the future is box adapters. I didn’t know they there a thing until recently.
Thank you! Trying to cut costs on some electrical work on my home by running most of the conduit myself ahead of time, this was very informative
I appreciate the education.. I only had seen a few of these between Lowe’s and Home Depot .. I will be utilizing some form of conduit on a ceiling lamp project. Wiring from behind basement wall through to the kitchen. I wanted conduit to hide the wires.
The best part of the video is at the beginning where you talked about why you make these videos.
Hi. Thank you, I enjoyed your video. The waterproof fittings were what I was interested in.
It is all induction.....Search for transformers on youtube, lots of videos with explanantions.
You are a natural, the video really helped me understand connectors! Keep making your videos bud!
Thank you for taking the time to make this video. Nice explanation

Great video. You quickly cleared up a potentially confusing topic.
Thank you for the valuable information 👍
Thanks
, hi from Denver, Co . I am a fellow Texan.
Thank you! We are VERY interested in this kind of stuff!
YOU ARE SPECIAL...YOU helped me~!......Thank you!
Great info. Helped me with my project. Thanks
Thanks, I learned what I needed.
Good stuff and informative. Thank you.
Always appreciate electrical information.
Good information on conduits. Thx!
You said EMT stand for electrical metal conduit but I think you meant to say EMT stands for electrical metallic tubing which is a type of conduit. Don’t worry we all mess up sometimes. Good video😃
Appreciate the video I'm in the field so I watch for that reason
When I paint outside, I wear a straw hat to keep the sun outta my eyes. Also I like fall season and squirrel hunting.

Thanks so much. I really enjoy your videos. I love working with electronics and electric when my health allows.
Much appreciate it for the help for us apprentices thank you!
yes i would like more videos like this one
Thank you! Great video!
Very good video on fittings.Do they make a off set fitting to connect to the a metal box to use if you don't have a conduit bender? Thanks.
Yes! Offset fittings are made in zinc and malleable from 1/2” to 4”
You've helped me!
thank you, very interested and educational
Nice video. How would you join the flexible conduit? I plan to use this outside under pavers
I was wondering when and where do you use the different types of conduit? Indoor, outdoor, garage, shed etc...
Thanks, very helpful.
Thanks for making this video
So how do you go from PVC next to a wall to make the connection to a junction box?
You are special!

Thakns so much for the informative video
Good video.
Thank you.
sweet dude thanks for the vid! i'm starting conduit bending in electrical trade school
Very informative thanks
hi im building a kennel with 1 inch conduit 8x8x8 do they make a bracket that fits in the xy and z axis? for the corners
You should do a video showing how to transition from PVC to EMT. And 3/4 EMT to 1/2 emt
Can you please show how to connect conduit adapter on the box? Why don’t we make hole in the box and directly attach the pvc conduit. What’s the problem? Thanks
great job, thanks
Nice job, thank you
Local 134 chiming in .. EMT ALL DAY BABY

Can I use schedule 40 pvc in an EV charger in a garage? Thanks
Good to know
Does that 90 fitting come on plastic
Thanks for the info.
Emt = Electrical Metallic Tubing
with the flexible PVC can i use a standard fitting and glue it together?
I'm pretty sure you can use PVC couplings same size that flex PVC is.

Quick question sir, will pvc hold up in the Texas sun if I run it along the outside of the house?
Can you give me any advice on preparing for my sptitude test for ibew test I'm 19
Are old connectors lead?
Thanks for shearing 😀
Thank you
Do they make sharp 90’ bends in conduit pvc?
The box does it for you.
Julie is behind the camera! I recognize her voice!!!
keep them coming :D
good job thanks
Can you show a video how transformers work! High voltage and low voltage?
Thanks!!
Thank you!
Thanks bro🙏🏽

If you're going to include a pulling ell, then you should talk about LBs, SLBs, LLs, & LRs & ''Type C' condulet.
Thanks
Thanks.
good stuff, thnx
I need to run my non metallic for 200' and longest they come is 100' lengths. How would I tie the two non metallic piece together? Gorilla tape and electric over it? LOL
I don’t mean to be rude. Emt does not stand for electrical metallic conduit but it stands for electrical metallic tubing.
Really? You wouldn’t consider tubing conduit? 😂
terrible camera work, but good explanation
The camera is floating... or you are, probably, on a ship and the ship is in an ocean with stormy weather.
Great video sir! If you want some free electrical fittings, please send me a direct message.

Please speak louder for your next video thanks
I don't care what the name is show me how they work. This video was useless
I didn’t learn shit.
