What a great video I enjoy watching your videos keep making great videos I like your videos a lot keep making great videos I like your videos keep making great videos
If you review earlier walk through on this property you would have heard that the foundations had failed on a major part of the house, plus being empty for so long there was water damage and as you can see during the demo that the level of insulation is minimal. That combined with the windows and doors being very out of date for energy requirements etc. The homeowners did the most cost effective thing to demolish and build a new property that will have the best return, especially given the significant price reduction on valuation to get the property after being empty for so long.
The room with "Foundation Damage" was a two level day porch that would have been originally open (likely screened) and at some point it was finished off to be a part of the house. The lean in the floor and the trim was all done so that any water ingress drained off the open porch. Crazy how this would be condemned for an assessment that is so inaccurate.
Unfortunately many people prefer new things rather than old or reusable things. Also some jurisdictions don’t allow people to reuse things from a building that’s gonna be demolished.

I thought the walls were going to be quite thick but they were just crappy cheap plywood on a wooden frame!
In some parts, windows in their frames along with other fittings and fixtures would have been carefully removed for future re-use.
More fun to destroy 😂

Those windows look newer than my twenty five year old window.
If I had a job like that I would never be board! Cool!
Imagine waking up heading to the kitchen then seeing an excavator rip through your living room
That was extremely fun to watch man.
Why was a perfectly good house like that torn down? Is it for redevelopment?
This is so much better with audio.
