I know im randomly asking but does someone know a way to log back into an Instagram account? I stupidly forgot my password. I love any tricks you can offer me!
This episode is really heartwarming. I often discuss asset allocation and "irrational" behaviour with friends as they are betting hard on something like tesla, bitcoin or even some unnkown altcoins so thanks for opening my eyes a bit on that. Hopefully I won´t be too judgemental or strict with some non perfect rational bevahiour in the future as it can bring some thrill and satisfaction to individuals and as long as it´s not a threat to their (economic) wellbeing...
This was an amazing episode! Would love to hear more from you both on the human capital aspect. As well as some insight on how you are personally think about human capital and your time management etc. Great work as always!
Hey Ben and Cameron! First of all, congratulations for the very nice and useful job you guys produce. It have been helping me a lot! I'm looking for a podcast where you guys comment about the Momentum factor, but I didn't find any. If there is one, can you please tell me what EP. it is? (if the youtubers know, please let me know, thanks!) I wish you a lot of success! Ivan
Personal opinion: censoring the guests felt more awkward than simply keeping their words unedited. It's something I've only seen done in American media and I hope it doesn't spread further. People sometimes swear, it's not a big deal.
Ben and I have no issue also, however it was recommended to bleep them as there is a risk of having our podcast banned in certain jurisdictions globally.
I couldn't keep listening to the sanctimonious rage against sensible investing. Leave it to a couple of American rich people to advocate throwing money to the wind. I'll take rational reminders over that kind of bravado any day.
@@BradleySpahn I'm actually an American, just not full of myself like these guests. I was a landed immigrant in Canada once upon a time, but I didn't have sense enough to stay there.
Big fan of the Pod, but I thought Josh Brown and Portnoy came off sooooo insufferable. Really disliked the fake NY tough guy act they decided to put on and I don't understand why they would be arguing against evidence based portfolio construction. Obviously being able to stick with a financial plan is the most important thing, but Financial advisors have a fiduciary duty to tell clients when they are investing sub optimally ie; sitting on too much cash. I thought Ben did a great job pushing back on Josh Brown in regards to investing based on values, investing and charity should be two separate things!
Why play the "thrilling," losing strategy of blackjack with 40-48% odds, when you can play perfect basic strategy and count cards to get 52%? All of our irrational, emotional human behaviour certainly makes life interesting. Would a 100% rational, artificial intelligence operated world that makes life better for everyone be worth the cost of making it that much less interesting?
Keep an eye out at around 1:05:15 - we had a special guest appearance from one of our biggest fans!

That last sentence is crucial. Some of my friends are 100% in cryptocurrency.

Any podcast about 5 factor investing.
Hi Ben, would be great to play the book game and write down your essay on how you invest your money ... looking forward
Great book!! Loved it!
The headphones look a lot better than the earbuds.
Furthermore, I think it's yet again a thoroughly enjoyable episode. Keep up the great work.
