strange thing is that people believe in some Jewish folklore fairytales as if that was true but do not believe in the similar stories from ancient Greece or Scandinavia? Why? What makes you think that the yahweh tales are more real than ones about almighty Odin? I find it amusing that grown up people believe in one myth and discard all other myths even though, some of the Greek or Egyptian tales make much more sense. It is even worse - they believe in that one specific fairy tale not because they chose to do so but because their parents told them so and brainwashed them in their childhood. I've been a fairly thorough atheist for my entire adult life, which is a long time BTW, and I've told my wife something similar when she asked me about it, I would say "asking me to believe in God is like me asking u to all of a sudden, for no reason and with no evidence of its existence, just spontaneously start believing in the tooth fairy." First, the various teachings in these Ancient writings have symbolic meaning. You will find Eternal truths in these accounts. Each person will receive a different message when the writings are meditated upon. The message is designed for the believer. Each message has 3 levels of meaning 1) literal, 2 symbolic and 3) the "hidden manna" meant for the believer only. The sweetness of the hidden words, given under the Seal of Silence. The Old Testament must be received wholly through the 3 levels of appreciation noted above. Only fools judge the Holy Scriptures based upon surface translations. And our ability to dissect and understand the Ancient texts is a surface glimmer only, of a deep Christal current of time.

Was waiting for somebody from Western world commenting on the Bible / Jahve issues - the exact same conclusions were done by russian scientist Andrey Sklyarov some 10 years ago in a book. He said that Jahve had some psychological problems, potentially caused by rivalry with other “gods” who were on the side of humanity’s further develoment. If at least two distant people draw the same conclusions from this then there should be some truth to this.

There was a good Yahweh and a bad yahweh. Bad yahweh was an impersonator god. These bad actions are pretty easy to pick out if you judge actions by Jesus' teachings. He clarifies everything. The God of Jesus is the real God & I don't know if Jesus actually ever named 'Yahweh', at all. He only referred to 'Abba', meaning His Father and the ruler of us and all the 'gods'.

Very compelling except for his take on Jesus. When Jesus was taken in front of the temple leaders they called him the son of god. He responded so you say. He was a chosen son of God and said all who feel bad about their mistakes(sins) are welcome. You need to forgive yourself. God/Jesus doesn’t do it for you. Free will.
