Steve and Bradford, thank you for this tribute to Monica. She was the Matriarch of the Quartemaine family and she was a wonderful actress and she was wonderful off screen as well. I always missed her when she was not on the GH screen, but I really miss her now that she is gone. I will always remember Monica and the value that she brought to GH! Leslie RIP! 😇

I re watched when Jason's mom was murdered and the Quartermaines were funny as all get out. Even though there was a murder, the hijinks this family had was so hilarious. Lots of laughs. The Quartermains also manufactured the condoms that Jason used when having sex with Liz after seeing Sam having sex with Rick her moms husband and the condom didn't work and so Jason did not sue the company. That was so hilarious to see Jason's face when he found that out. Priceless. I don't think Sam used a condom though. Ick. I cannot remember if Jason talked to Monica about that or not. How do you have that conversation with your family members???????

My condolences to Leslie's family, friends, fans, and especially her G.H. extended family. I know how much it hurts losing someone so amazing. I just lost my father to pancreatic cancer. She was the matriarch of G.H. that has now left us. Its going to be hard not seeing her on G.H. with the loveable Quartermaine family. I remember watching her as a kid in the early 80s because of my mom who got me hooked to ABC soaps. She's now reunited with her sister, costars, and her her love for animals she cared for. You are no longer in pain, sweet Leslie. Hugs and prayers to the G.H. family (Steve and Bradford)
i am heartbroken.. I remember the hay day of the Quartermaine’s .. in the 80’s when i literally ran home from school to watched GH .. Edward, Lila, Alan and Monica .. Back when writers knew how to write a soapy mess and still keep families together .. Edward and Lila were epic ..nothing could destroy that couple .. Alan and Monica .. no matter how many times they strayed they always found their way back to each other.. The writers respected the characters and the fans .. somewhere along the way the writers lost that.. RIP Leslie dear .. you were a Queen ..

Love Leslie!! She is class! As far as GH, I adore Monica and Jason's relationship. Especially because I've been watching since before Jason (and AJ) were born. I remember distinctly Susan was in NYC delivering Jason (not Drew) and there was no Heather around to steal a twin that never existed because she was stuck back in Port Charles at Kelly's Diner because there was a blizzard ala Cassadine's who tried deep freezing the world. But back to Jason and Monica, she despised the child because "it" (that's what she called Jason) was a product of Alan's affair with Susan. Susan got murdered and Susan's Aunt Alice was raising baby Jason until aunt Alice left to go take care of Stephen Lars in Nevada with Jeff Webber. Alan bought Jason to live in the Q mansion and eventually, Monica fell in love with Jason. Pretty sure she loved him more than she loved AJ! Thank you for this! I miss both Leslie Charleson and Stuart Damon immensely!
Spot on except Alice Grant actually had an aneurysm in the Quartermaine living room soon after Alan decided to grant her custody of baby Jason. I remember rewatching those episodes on your channel years ago!! Those eps originally aired during the heyday in the early 80's when we would all rush home from school to watch GH! What a time!

Leslie was the first soap star I ever met. I was a teen growing up in the 1980s. There used to be monthly fan club restaurants at a restaurant called La Maganette in NYC. There would be a lot of actors from the NY soaps, but they'd often fly in a big star from one of the California soaps as the main attraction. Leslie was so nice and kind to her fans.

Yeah I remember seeing him go up the thing to kill him he had his gun in his hand I remember watching GH and seeing Alan and I'm thinking he looks like the guy who played in Cinderella but it didn't really dawn until I did a search on Google and it really was him and I thought wow my Allen quartermain is the one who played in Cinderella God he's got a voice I loved him and Monica together they were the greatest and now they're both gone I love them both they were the perfect couple I love their fights I love their makeups they were just like everybody else that had that's married that has an argument thinks they're going to get divorced and then they get back together they had what I call the right relationship they were perfect together May they rest in peace

Enjoyed watching Alan & Monica ,Edward & Lila back in the 80s &?90s . Now they are all gone .Wow was I ever stunned then just so saddened by the news of Leslie Charleson’a passing this past sudden at age 79 . A It’s really heartbreaking so many GH veterans passing every year it seems . So many memories . Rest in Peace Leslie you were and are one of the best . Up with Stuart (Alan) now . Gone but definitely never forgotten 😢❤🕊️🙋♀️💐🌺🌹

Leslie was the first soap star I ever met. I was a teen growing up in the 1980s. There used to be monthly fan club restaurants at a restaurant called La Maganette in NYC. There would be a lot of actors from the NY soaps, but they'd often fly in a big star from one of the California soaps as the main attraction. Leslie was so nice and kind to her fans.

Yeah I remember seeing him go up the thing to kill him he had his gun in his hand I remember watching GH and seeing Alan and I'm thinking he looks like the guy who played in Cinderella but it didn't really dawn until I did a search on Google and it really was him and I thought wow my Allen quartermain is the one who played in Cinderella God he's got a voice I loved him and Monica together they were the greatest and now they're both gone I love them both they were the perfect couple I love their fights I love their makeups they were just like everybody else that had that's married that has an argument thinks they're going to get divorced and then they get back together they had what I call the right relationship they were perfect together May they rest in peace
