What about input lag for gaming?
With airplay I found when it wouldn't play from my streaming app as well. However if I mirrored the phone from my pull down menu, I could get it to project that way. I suspect the airplay is a older standard or something. My biggest negative is don't lose the remote, there are no on projector controls.

How do you connect it to the wifi network? How do you type in the password for the wifi network?
I’m the setting, it has network settings. And you’ll need to enter the wifi password using the remote

@MikeDancy .. Hi Mike .. I just assumed you could connect a USB from the phone to the projector .. all i get is a no signal message ... do i have to connect my phone USB to a hdmi to push the signal out? ... thanks ...
From what I understand, it needs to be on the same wifi connection Depending on the phone I guess. I don’t have access to that project currently to test.
Hi - great presentation. My only problem is not being able to connect to iPhone. I go to WiFi on the Wimius, type in the code and it says FAILED every time. Works with HDMI, USB DVD. For external Bluetooth speakers, will only connect via headphone socket because again no Bluetooth even though manual describes how to connect.
Are both devices on the same wifi SSID channel? Did you read the manual? I might require some steps I stepped over.
peoples views are saying it goes up to 300 " inch screen size why the manual say 200" inch
Hey, Im a teacher who moves from class to class. Do you think this would be good for showing powerpoint presentations in classrooms where some light is coming in? Basically the rooms can only become about 70% dark.
It should be bright enough. As long as it’s projecting onto something bright like a screen or a white wall.

I just bought this projector and am struggling getting it to work. Do you need to be connected to a wifi network? I actually don’t have wifi in my apartment, I just use my cellular data to watch things 😅
The projector and the phone need to be on the same wifi network BUT you can get a cable that runs from the phone to hdmi which would push out a signal that way.

Any ideas on how to get around not being able to mirror Netflix from an IOS smartphone?
Perhaps use a browser instead of the app
does it make a lot of noise?
It’s not as loud as a big projector but it’s somewhat noticeable. You won’t find it overbearing though if it’s beside your laptop while you’re talking

I like this projector but it appears that Netflix is not streaming at all. 😢
You need to stream it from a computer
you need to connect a fire stick or chromecast.
