I ended up grabbing the Double Indemnity 4k and Sullivan's Travels, both movies I've seen and really enjoyed. I also got The Lady Eve, and A Face In the Crowd, which have been on my list for quite awhile, and are first watches for me.
Just placed my order. I think I did pretty good this time. The titles I chose: Being There Punch Drunk Love Thief All That Jazz Klute Medium Cool Walker Fassbinder's BRD Trilogy box set
Glad to see the sale finally arrived. I took the opportunity to clear a lot of titles from my wish list: Repo Man (4K), Risky Business (4K), A Man Escaped, Christ Stopped at Eboli, The Ascent, Short Cuts, The Last Wave, Naked and Kes.
James, thanks for the update. I ordered (1) Eric Rohmer’s Tales of the Four Seasons box set, (2) The Marseille Trilogy box set, (3) It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World (Blu Ray), and (4) Perfect Days (4K UHD/Blu Ray combo). I had my eyes on Happiness (4K/Blu Ray combo), but it's showing Out of Stock (Blu Ray is out of stock as well) in Criterion website.
@20thand21stMovies I've not seen EO all the way but I've seen bits and pieces of it on the criterion channel live feed and it seems pretty entertaining. Can't really go wrong with a movie where the main character is donkey 😂😂😂
I got Not A Pretty Picture, I Walked with a Zombie / The Seventh Victim: Produced by Val Lewton 4K and Three Revolutionary Films by Ousmane Sembène. That earned me the $50 certificate which I'll use for the next flash sale. Gearing for for the November B&N sale now 🙂 Will there be a Gummo review coming up 😅
I didn't get my email $10 gift card this year. Not sure why. But I just placed my order and with that I'm now over 600 titles. Never wanted that many, but I can't help myself. I picked up The Long Good Friday, Mother, Real Life, the Val Lewton films, Happiness, and Repo Man on 4K.
I definitely want Sweet Smell of Success
That’s a really good one, Dylan!

Nice pickups! I haven’t picked up the Rohmer box set yet or the Marseilles Trilogy. Let us know what you think of those when you see them. Enjoy!

Awesome. Enjoy, Lilann! Perfect Days is so good. I haven’t yet seen EO so would love to hear your thoughts on it.
