      Cant wait to get them finished :) working atm on the Car Chassie racing build of a audi 80 from 1994, sadly i have to push the truck cab, sadly nothing went as planed this summer so got nothing done more than planing stuff and after checking out how really big it is "its a sleeper cab" i have a issue with that it dsnt go in to my garage in the basement so i need to rent a digger to flatten out the ground a bit to get it in " my garage in the house is below ground", so i decited to get the racing rig going first, its winter here now :)
      But were going to start getting videos of both building projects as they come along here in the comming months.
      Im sry that it takes along time but free time is hard to comeby these days :D

    Very impressive to say the least. You have a lot to work with and a lot to do. My hat off to your wife. She must be one heck of a great person and spouse. There are a lot more expensive hobbies than this that you could be doing. So in a way. She is lucky you are not into Nitrous Harley Racing for real. Love the content and explanations. Also subbing to see how the build comes along. Really hoping you show a lot of content on your journey to full truck setup. You must have some mad electric skills also. Great job my man. Love that you got your Father into this hobby also. Good for you.

    Ive given up on trying to get ETS2 to run on more than 3 screens as the interface I feel like I need a degree in programming and dont have the time to sit and learn. So ets or ats is just out of the picture as I would love to come home from work and sit in a nice 4 - 6 screen setup without having to spend months configuring it.

    I drove semi's for 17 years and had to quit because of vertigo. The only thing I would have done different was mounted the wheel upside down. Would feel funny for me to drive it like a car. I am going to be building a semi pit myself actual size with four TV's. Overall though a great setup.

    • @piggehdeluxe
      @piggehdeluxe  10 місяців тому +2

      Thats suck that you had to stop trucking, y feel the same i drive trucks irl and i dont like the car seat position and wheel, but it works, driving cars in truck position would be awful, thats why i need to get the truck cab going asap.
      Gonna go four 43" tvs for the truckcab rig.
      Thanks man

      Hold up, what do you mean the wheel upside down? This is not how they are in trucks?

    • @ComdrStew
      @ComdrStew 10 місяців тому

      @@IamAW If you mount your wheel upside down with the wheel coming up at a 45 degree angle, that is more like a semi wheel. It would tilt toward the dash at 75 degrees and could tilt down to 45 degrees. I use to tilt mine up and I had a steering wheel desk that had hooks on the top of it. I could then do my logbook or even eat a meal on it. Go to google and look up Big Rig Truck Steering Wheel Desk.

    • @ivanwallace3296
      @ivanwallace3296 10 місяців тому

    either viewing angle or most likely the panels need to be calibrated

    • @piggehdeluxe
      @piggehdeluxe  10 місяців тому

      They are not the same panels, the middle OLED is a new 2022 CS OLED and the 2 side OLEDs are older 2019 C9 OLEDS so i got some difference there you cant get them to match cause of they dont use the same panel, if i remember right the c7 c8 c9 cx use the same panels, and the oleds have pixel shifting enabled so they are constantly moving the picture so you cant get them to perfect line each other.

      Tnx man, just google philips hue lights
      www.ebay.com/p/20059692070?iid=185943568548&rt=nc
      They run with there own software "philips hue" or you can use simhub and i recommend running them with simhub there software is 100 times better, it scans the screen and copy the colors on your screen, or you can pick a specific place on your screen you want it to copy, thats what im doing, telling the software to copy the dashboard.
      There are cheaper DIY ways but i have not tryed them so dont know how they work.

      I was going to go with aluminum rods but for the sake of not having to fabricate i gone with copper water pipe rute, copper is way easier to work with without tools and there was a size that matched my shifter almost perfect so i just expanded thepipe abit with a hammer and a rod to expant the pipes inner diameter to fit on the shifter and i took the hammer and hammerd it on lightly and it works great.
      On the aux shifter i drilled a hole on the shift knobb and hammerd it on.

      i have tryed had a lot of pedals, not to many expensive once, but the last pair i had was fanatec v3, and the simjack pedals are cheap but they feel amazing, but in the truck rig im using the trucks own pedals and in the racing rig im gonna use the cars pedals.
