Can You Beat Dead Rising 3 Without Driving Any Cars?

- Dead rising 3 is a game with a MASSIVE map that wants you to drive around fake Los Angeles and see the sights, what if we didn't do that?
Instead Nick never got his license and is not allowed to drive cars. This means I have to travel the whole map while completing the main story and also beating every boss in the game on foot. There is a LOT of running involved.
For a few notes before you ask
-You need to enter cars a couple of times for main objectives, this is fine since we got out immediately.
-There are exactly 2 spots that force a car usage, this is allowed otherwise we cannot beat the game. These are letting Gary into the Morgue and driving the Fuel Car to Rhonda.
Yes we actual manage to do everything else somehow

lol, I know you address it shortly into the video anyway, glad you're excited for it too - i'm not sure if you hear later on or whatever but I think most people were mad because they didn't appear to bring back TJ Rotolo for Frank, which was slightly odd because they used him for the Resi 2 remake

Call me greedy but I hope we get more than the DR1 remaster. I remember capcom did a survey a while back where you could vote on which franchise you want to return. I think they underestimate dead rising's popularity

Entire run invalidated by mecha dragon. Mechas are vehicles just ask Gundam fans. Seriously though this run seems a thousand times easier than the no weapons run.

Finally... FINALLY! We can see the long awaited "you can carry the casket," and it's even better than I imagined. Also, I've seen like... three streams of DR3 by you? And NEVER noticed the goofy music that plays while you craft...
I fell asleep while watching this and I vaguely remember my dream. Ecdycis starred in this dream as Snake Pliskin and he had to escape from LA but instead of it being a prison island it was a zombie island. The part I really remember was when Ecdycis Pliskin and the president were arguing if Ec could drive a helicopter or not to get them out of here. Ec eventually exclaimed it's a fucking helicopter not a car, get in! As they flew off into the sunset together.

I have an idea for a challenge but am not sure how possible wlot would be the "Lazy Nick, whatever protag" challenge where Nick (or whoever) can't do a majority of the damage and must either use vehicles or weapons that fight for them (for dead Rising 3 specifically= you need certain stats to use some of the bigger/heavier weapons just an additional idea for additional challenge) it would allow the bear weapons to have more use (and the cat as well XD but it's just an idea) love these recent videos 😃👍 keep up the content ❤❤❤
I know the reaper is easier to get early, but you should try farming with the elemental staff sometime. It's equally as broken in ice mode. I honestly kept forgetting that cars existed and just didn't notice 'cause I was just strolling through the streets after utterly obliterating end game zombie crowds with it.

I know this game caught a lot of slack on release but it’s genuinely been my second favourite, after DR1 of course.
I always found the idea of a more grounded DR really interesting, it’s a shame that the team couldn’t really expand on it and we got the mess that is DR4.
At least the remaster is gonna slap, can’t wait

Speaking of Dead Rising 3 and driving. I wish there was a mod to clear up the roads a bit, cause it feels like they want you to drive yet don't in areas.

Not sure if this was covered during the stream, I didn't see it during this vid, but I could've missed it. You don't use blenders in this game to combine food items, in the level up screen, at the top where you can unlock the easy blueprints, that's what I call em, if you spend an Attribute Point on the apple with the plus on it, that unlocks food combining, just pick up two food items/drinks, and combine them like you would a Combo Weapon! That simple!
