Remember when swapping to euro headlights or taillights was actually a simple process? Ah, the good old days.
If VW gave us amber signals this would be a lot easier
Seriously. I think the last set I bought was for Mk4. I'm looking at Mk7.5 thinking its gotta be just as easy now... nope.

I installed on 2019 Mk7.5 R...
Harness install is easy...
Now I have rear fog light which stays on...
No rear running lights...
Turn signals work
Reverse lights work
Brake Lights work
Checked provided coding 3 times.
Problem solved months ago... Returned coding to factory... then recoded Euro lights...

I would highly advise a flexible snake vs removing and potentially breaking the hatch boot seals. It may be more difficult, but replacing those boots will be far worse. The previous owner on my mk7.5 broke the tabs on them while installing this harness and euro tails. The replacement job was so involved I opted to have custom 3d printed "inserts" made to glue in and "replace" the broken tabs.
lol yeah those seals are a pain. I couldn't get a snake to fit through due to already having my dashcam wiring in there and broke a tab. I just ended up just sealing the boot with silicone rather than deal with all that.
Does anyone know if this adapter would work with the NAR GTI mk7.5 car but fitted with the ROW lowline tail light (mk 7.5) housing as sold in Europe?

yup. It is setup to run rear fogs by default.

Hi Paul, I have done this mod, it's been maybe 2-3 months running these and my LEDs on the outer housings are lightly blinking only when I brake on both sides. Do you know if it's the wiring harness or the outer housing have gone bad?

The stock lights are different. You dont have amber or dynamic turn signals in them.

Yes you have to buy the tail lights to replace the existing MK7.5 tail lights, then the wire harnesses for them. Then OBDeleven with at least 100 credits available to get the dynamic turn signal app or I believe you can long code as well.
I’m happy with my MK7.5 LED tail lights the way they are, this video doesn’t do them any justice, in person and not on a camera they look really nice. It’s not worth the money or my time IMO. But to each there own.
