Thanx to arrangers, producers, conductor and executors! This is how I originally heard it in my head when I was 12 and started to listen to KC. Remarkable effort from the clarinet and surprising effort from the harpist.
Listen once more the original piece, and you'll find out orchestral arrangements... Yes played with distorted instruments with a rock/jazz mood... In the end, invaluable modern music... :-)
As a composer: Fripp's not to be under-estimated. KCrim performed a potent version of this on tour last year: Beautifully, Jakko captured Wetton's emotional impact; the audience was over-whelmed and thrilled..
I love how Fripp allows Jacko and other band mates to take their own paths with the music and not ape the past. Jacko's and the drummers' take on "indiscipline" is to be seen.
Ooof, how to add too much sugar to the mix, killed by the leaden beats. It's a minor melody in most respects made good by the album setting and the abrasive energy of the original instrumentation and scorching playout. Burt Bacharach would have booted this out of bed.
FYI: Robert Fripp just Shared this video on his personal FB account yesterday.
Thank's Burak!
King crimson is perfectly built for strings and woodwind
maybe because it has both?

Belo trabalho! Tão pouco conhecido no Brasil!!! Grande homenagem!
King Crimson é incrível. E a orquestra perfeita. Parabéns 👏.

Nice! One of my favorite tunes, though incredibly sad (RIP John Wetton).
OMG! Who would have thought that a hard-edged classic like this could have turned into this beautiful piece? Wonderful interpretation!
Listen once more the original piece, and you'll find out orchestral arrangements... Yes played with distorted instruments with a rock/jazz mood... In the end, invaluable modern music... :-)
@@antoniobattisti1988 I agree, it's an orchestral piece at its heart, like many of Crimson's arrangements.
@@linkinparkrulz2275 Absolutely! 😀
One of my favourite KC pieces. Amazing transcription, interpretation, and improvisation - Bravo!

Performance de lujo, muchas gracias amigos!
Beautiful ! And the instrumentation/orchestration brings to mind the LIZARD and ISLANDS King Crimson era, too.

This is amazing version...What a beautifull orchestration WOW...
They got a thousand clips of "free bird" on you tube but I can't find one studio version of this song. Aaarrgh.
Thank Fripp for that.
joeminutes11 This version is fucking great tho
Pssst archive.org/details/KING_CRIMSON_RED
The other songs can be found here too.
Try finding a Beatles song. Same thing. A bunch of weird covers or alternate versions, on and on...
Pat O'Boyle That’s right. Fripp gets a lot of King Crimson stuff taken off UA-cam.

Saludos
Awesome arrangement! Arranjo incrível! Muito Obrigado!
R.I.P. John Wetton
SIMPLESMENTE MARAVILHOSO!
geil - endlich hat jemand da mal kapiert, welches Potential hinter diesem Stueck liegt, Bravo!
simply beautiful
Precioso!!
A real tribute!
Wonderful!! this tribute is beautiful, thanks to post this
Espetacular! Isso tem que chegar ao Robert Fripp
Robert Fripp, un génie ? ... oui.
Wetton penned original tune, augmented by bruford and fripp- but the core song and melody was his
Al 100%
Fantástico! Excelente trabalho!
What a Masterpiece! Thank you so much for this !
Beautiful. I patticularly like the harp.
simplesmente perfeito ❤
Genial versión orquestal del gran clásico del supergrupo KING CRIMSON. 🎹🎸🎹
Me leva às lágrimas...
Orgulho do meu RJ!
6 star "cover". the earth moved.
São BR's? Aaaaa que orgulho!! :)
Splendid.
Best use of Clairinet! ever.

This is awesome. Beautiful.
Thanks. Beautiful music is beautiful:)
Wow!!!
Nice version.
Beautiful \m/
incredible :) thank you so much
Esplêndido!
Wondrous!!!
very nice ,,,bravo
Extraordinario!
EL RED IMPACTO AL MUNDO PROGRESIVO MUY BIEN LOS MUCHACHOS
UMA ORQUESTRA BRASILEIRA TOCANDO FALLEN ANGEL TO SONHANDO???
sensacional!!!
Good Job !
Very nice. Though the drums are far too soft in my opinion.
Respects.
Beautiful 🤪
Sublime
I honestly would have left out the drums. A classical set of percussions would do. Nice effort anyway!
Contengo las làgrimas.
this is amazing.
Maravilha !!!
Una delicia , a mis sentidos
Beautiful!
Though that drummer......wtf...
really, I was not in a good day,
but, only who kicks loses goal...
That's actually Bill Bruford, you cant recognize him with new glasses. Same drumming style though.
He got the following message: Beat. Beat. Beat.
Gorgeous!
always so awkward when they have a traditional drumming over orchestra
WOW
Wonderfu-l--l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l
Pleasant enough but lacks the drama and dynamic of the original
Or am I stating the obvious
wow
bravissimi
Not the best arrangement possible I'd say
I say nay.
your opinion is irrelevant

This is objectively the worst take I have ever seen
Awful, Bill Brufords beautiful percussion has been completely ignored, shitfull cafe music.
bruh, it's called orchestral.
