Then you do it all over again... music is such an underrated part of games and movies. People don't realize it. Name your fav all time overall movies. Top 5. I play the first two songs to put my grandson to sleep .......funny because his father would take naps to the same songs as well when he was a kid........KIngdom Hearts forever.....

Ahh... So many memories, I remember when I was younger me, my father, and my cousins would all hang out and play KH2, good times... Times that I can never have again sadly, so that first song hits me right in the feels, letting me know that I have grown up and that there is no way to turn back the clock and let me relive when everything was still simple and my family was able to smile... One of my favourites moments of all the saga, Axel it's the best character for me... I hope he can encounter Roxas in Kingdom hearts 3... He deserves to view one time more his friend at least
I remember, when I was a kid playing Kingdom Hearts 2 sometimes I’d just sit at the title screen for a while, entranced by Dearly Beloved. Then, I dived into the game of my childhood. Later, 358/2 days. The gameplay was dull but I got through it to see all those scenes on the clock tower. I never really had close companionship as a kid. Friends sure but I never really connected with someone. I envied the trio as they sat, eating sea salt ice cream and sharing their dreams with one another. I treasured that warmth. Then, Xion’s fight. I was scared to fight her, confused at why I had to and that theme...I felt the sorrow at my very core. I cried at her death scene. Later still, Birth by Sleep on my PSP. I remember trying so many dumb builds with the command system and the Ventus Vs Vanitas fight had me punching and kicking the air as I fought for my life. I’d always laugh when Ventus roasted Vanitas for having no friends. These games were my escape. My vast, wonderful escape from a turbulent childhood and while I feel the series has gone off course in later entries, I will treasure the memories it has given me for the rest of my life.
Kingdoms hearts 1 and 2 will forever be milestones in my life. The original versions music still brings to to tears, and I was 7 when I played the first one. I am now 25. Forever memories.
I know this is an old thread, and I don't know if you'll ever read this, but you need to. You will have friendship like that. You'll find them. It's funny how much I can roll my eyes at the story of Kingdom Hearts sometimes (especially with the most recent games) and yet when I listen to just the music, I also can't help but fall in love with the series again.

Kingdom Hearts music will always hold a special place in my heart. I don't care how old I get, I will always appreciate the talent Yoko Shimomura brings to the table. Yoko, thanks for making such amazing music. You really know how to pull at people's emotions.
just warning you all the games were released on separate consoles, the oldest being on the game boy advance, so I highly recommend getting a PS4 and getting the Kingdom hearts all in one package game, which I am pretty sure covers most of the games, if not then all of them
@@datjuiceboxxd4760 Actually, people who are new to KH but non-gamer don't need to play the game, just listen through the soundtrack SE given on store or just listen here. The Orchestra Soundtracks or the In-game ones. And watch the whole cutscenes.
@@shiibe1238 Lol I got into KH two years ago through gameplays (I had no PS4 for the bundle, hence watching all the playthroughs of it). It's weird that I got into a game I didn't even play myself. I have bought the bundle last year, but haven't had the time finishing it all. Maybe I'll pick it up again soon, who knows. One thing I do know is that KH has one of the best soundtracks out there, and that is what made me love the games even more.
Every time I see Sora's background story it always it me Imagine being on a island with your remote island and then in a blink of an eye they vanish and your alone with a key blade and memories of the good times 😭😭😭😭

I started to wonder why I even liked Kingdom Hearts in the first place. It's so weird, messy, and sometimes confusing. But all it takes is one listen to Kingdom Hearts II's Dearly Beloved, and it all comes flooding back.

I feel pain and misery for most of my days, but I try to smile and think of the times that life gave me a chance.. A chance for a new beginning... I let go of those chances and I regret that. I hope another chance comes back to me as I will move on from my miserable life into a better one, a life with smiling and laughing.. my dad and i played kingdom hearts i and ii together when i was little. by that i mean he did all the playing and i said "good job dad!" and "try again dad!" and "we did it dad!" as needed. i was a sensitive and over emotional kid, so some of these songs made me sniffle even back then. he would say "what's wrong kid?" and i would just say "the music is sad" and he would let me sit on his lap as he continued on. i prolly annoyed him to death now that i think about it. i was constantly asking who was who and what was happening, but he still let me watch. we haven't talked in a while. maybe i'll do that
If you think about it.. Roxas Story is the saddest story of all characters in KH. Xemnas told all members of Org XIII that they dont have hearts. But Roxas and all the others had feelings. He lost Xion and his memories and his friend Axel had to fight him. Axels friendship with Roxas goes so deep because Ventus met Lea 10 years before and became friends. My personal favorite character in KH is Riku becouse I love the character and whats behind that boy. How he actet in KH2 to protect Sora and wake him up was very emotional.. but Roxas is just another story of sadness. I hope we can play as a lot of Characters in KH3. It would be sad for me just play Sora if there are so many Characters with so great stories. Sora, Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Lea, Terra, Aqua, Ventus .. maybe Xion? I hope so much these Characters are also playable. I loved how Riku became a Keyblade Master after KH DDD. He is a very strong character and unique because he was able to shut down the darkness and locked it into his heart without being controlled by it anymore. Anyways.. KIngdom Hearts is the best series ever and I bet KH3 will be the best game we all ever played my friends!

I’ll be honest my birthday is April 3rd 2002 and kingdom hearts came out May 28 2002 sO this franchise has been in my life forever and I love it I was first introduced to the KH II timeline and it was amazing but now.....with things in my life that have happened every time I beat one of the games and going through the story’s building up with the one character you play as it’s kind of....heart breaking at the end...to hear that final music of your story being over...this game series messes with my feels but I love it. It shows how friends can be your greatest strength and that everyone is linked with each other and not everything is so far out of your reach even when it may seem lost....kingdom hearts you have been there for me when I needed you most. You will always have a warm place in my heart. May your heart be your guiding key. 💙
How many times has kingdom hearts made me cry-to many times I grew up with this stuff you know staying up till 5am playing it with your brother eating captain crunch and accidentally spilling some on the blanket as the morning breez and the cool fan hit the back of your neck while hugging a pillow and holding the remote-good times
The moment it played I started sobbing. So many memories, so much has changed. Wish time could turn back. We truly don’t know what we have until it’s gone, or that we are living the best days of our lives until those are just memories too. 😔
Great music to a great game. Sadly I don't have any happy memories cause I was the only one in my family and friends who like kingdom hearts. kingdom hearts help me in my darkest moments.
I'll never forget when I was 11 and put in KH2 for the first time and the title screen came on... And was just blown away by how beautiful it was. My brother, who is also now 11, played KH2 recently, and he had the exact same reaction as me to the intro. It's timeless.
I hear that and remember my childhood days. Life was so much easier, everything was lighter ... It's really bad to grow up. And to think it was what I wanted most when I was young...

So, I have been playing kingdom hearts since the end of the last year and honestly it has been more than a game to me. I sometimes hear people saying that this game has been their childhood and I think that's beautiful, but I'm almost an adult and even if that's the case, I feel that Kingdom Hearts is like a place I can go to remember that beautiful times of my childhood, which I wish could come back.
I thibk thats not because a literal game, but the memories behind it, playing kh after school, without any pressure of life. It was a beautifull and dreamy exprience.
This game is everything to me. The 20th anniversary just passed and it makes me sad. My father got the game the day it came out when I was 3. I used to watch him play it all the time until I was old enough to play it myself. My dad passed away 5 months ago and hearing this music makes me cry so hard I can’t breathe. He loved his game so much. I drew pictures for him. Bought him posters and the wallet he had when he passed. These songs release memories for me that can’t be released any other way. I miss him so much. Thank you for creating such wonderful heartfelt music. No other game could ever compare.
This fucking franchise is a huge part of my childhood and its music has rooted itself in the deepest parts of my happiest moments. Me and my brother clearing The World that Never Was, making my first save file for which I genuinely cared about. Those were happier times. I really want to relive those moments, those 2 hours of just sitting on our old couch and playing games together. I miss those times.

I'm crying (who isn't). Kingdom hearts is literally my childhood. i don't remember much, but i could never forget this. my childhood wasn't the best, but this game was like a red thread throughout it. There was a time that i didn't think about it, but whenever i saw something related i'd be so excited. i was also always drawn to keys, i liked collecting them and never really connected it to this. I used to play it with my sister- well, i'd watch. she always let me drive the gummi ship and she'd only let me play in that winnie the pooh world. I would admire the covers so often, and i still do. i recently got back into it, and i'm so happy i did,, even tho i'm crying now. kdh lofi pushed me through exams. dearly beloved would make me feel safe,,, while making me cry. to be honest, that's the only song i remember from then, which is probably why it's such a tear-jerker for me. i cherish memories and friends so much, which is kinda normal but i can't help but think this game affected me in that way... I hope everyone here is doing okay. If not, it'll be okay. Sora is doing his best defeating the heartless around you :)

i really feel so nostalgic, my first ever kingdom hearts series is kindgom hearts 2, that time ps3 is already a thing and i remember pick up persona 4 alongside kingdom hearts 2 for my ps2, i remember playing both of game on weekend, get scolded because entire day i spent to play that game at first i pickup kingdom hearts because they have donal duck, im big fan of donal duck at that time and i have all comic about donal duck and i more know about it than a mickey or goofy, ah.... im crying right now... so much happen this past years....
i know im late, even tho ive never played kingdom hearts ive always love that game i remmber watching all the cutsanes ive known the game since i was 8 now im 16 and i cherish kingdom hearta in my heart it was like a safe space for me since childhood but ive always felt sad that i havent had these friendships now im listing to this while pulling it all nighter to study for upcoming exams

just warning you all the games were released on separate consoles, the oldest being on the game boy advance, so I highly recommend getting a PS4 and getting the Kingdom hearts all in one package game, which I am pretty sure covers most of the games, if not then all of them

@@shiibe1238 Lol I got into KH two years ago through gameplays (I had no PS4 for the bundle, hence watching all the playthroughs of it). It's weird that I got into a game I didn't even play myself. I have bought the bundle last year, but haven't had the time finishing it all. Maybe I'll pick it up again soon, who knows. One thing I do know is that KH has one of the best soundtracks out there, and that is what made me love the games even more.

I started to wonder why I even liked Kingdom Hearts in the first place. It's so weird, messy, and sometimes confusing. But all it takes is one listen to Kingdom Hearts II's Dearly Beloved, and it all comes flooding back.

my dad and i played kingdom hearts i and ii together when i was little. by that i mean he did all the playing and i said "good job dad!" and "try again dad!" and "we did it dad!" as needed. i was a sensitive and over emotional kid, so some of these songs made me sniffle even back then. he would say "what's wrong kid?" and i would just say "the music is sad" and he would let me sit on his lap as he continued on. i prolly annoyed him to death now that i think about it. i was constantly asking who was who and what was happening, but he still let me watch. we haven't talked in a while. maybe i'll do that

If you think about it.. Roxas Story is the saddest story of all characters in KH.
Xemnas told all members of Org XIII that they dont have hearts. But Roxas and all the others had feelings.
He lost Xion and his memories and his friend Axel had to fight him.
Axels friendship with Roxas goes so deep because Ventus met Lea 10 years before and became friends.
My personal favorite character in KH is Riku becouse I love the character and whats behind that boy.
How he actet in KH2 to protect Sora and wake him up was very emotional.. but Roxas is just another story of sadness.
I hope we can play as a lot of Characters in KH3.
It would be sad for me just play Sora if there are so many Characters with so great stories.
Sora, Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Lea, Terra, Aqua, Ventus .. maybe Xion?
I hope so much these Characters are also playable.
I loved how Riku became a Keyblade Master after KH DDD. He is a very strong character and unique because he was able to shut down the darkness and locked it into his heart without being controlled by it anymore.
Anyways.. KIngdom Hearts is the best series ever and I bet KH3 will be the best game we all ever played my friends!

I’ll be honest my birthday is April 3rd 2002 and kingdom hearts came out May 28 2002 sO this franchise has been in my life forever and I love it I was first introduced to the KH II timeline and it was amazing but now.....with things in my life that have happened every time I beat one of the games and going through the story’s building up with the one character you play as it’s kind of....heart breaking at the end...to hear that final music of your story being over...this game series messes with my feels but I love it. It shows how friends can be your greatest strength and that everyone is linked with each other and not everything is so far out of your reach even when it may seem lost....kingdom hearts you have been there for me when I needed you most. You will always have a warm place in my heart. May your heart be your guiding key. 💙

I'll never forget when I was 11 and put in KH2 for the first time and the title screen came on... And was just blown away by how beautiful it was. My brother, who is also now 11, played KH2 recently, and he had the exact same reaction as me to the intro. It's timeless.

So, I have been playing kingdom hearts since the end of the last year and honestly it has been more than a game to me.
I sometimes hear people saying that this game has been their childhood and I think that's beautiful, but I'm almost an adult and even if that's the case, I feel that Kingdom Hearts is like a place I can go to remember that beautiful times of my childhood, which I wish could come back.

This game is everything to me. The 20th anniversary just passed and it makes me sad. My father got the game the day it came out when I was 3. I used to watch him play it all the time until I was old enough to play it myself. My dad passed away 5 months ago and hearing this music makes me cry so hard I can’t breathe. He loved his game so much. I drew pictures for him. Bought him posters and the wallet he had when he passed. These songs release memories for me that can’t be released any other way. I miss him so much. Thank you for creating such wonderful heartfelt music. No other game could ever compare.
I can’t think of two more iconic pieces of piano gaming music than Dearly Beloved and Aerith’s Theme.
This fucking franchise is a huge part of my childhood and its music has rooted itself in the deepest parts of my happiest moments. Me and my brother clearing The World that Never Was, making my first save file for which I genuinely cared about. Those were happier times. I really want to relive those moments, those 2 hours of just sitting on our old couch and playing games together.

I'm crying (who isn't). Kingdom hearts is literally my childhood. i don't remember much, but i could never forget this. my childhood wasn't the best, but this game was like a red thread throughout it. There was a time that i didn't think about it, but whenever i saw something related i'd be so excited. i was also always drawn to keys, i liked collecting them and never really connected it to this. I used to play it with my sister- well, i'd watch. she always let me drive the gummi ship and she'd only let me play in that winnie the pooh world. I would admire the covers so often, and i still do. i recently got back into it, and i'm so happy i did,, even tho i'm crying now. kdh lofi pushed me through exams. dearly beloved would make me feel safe,,, while making me cry. to be honest, that's the only song i remember from then, which is probably why it's such a tear-jerker for me.
i cherish memories and friends so much, which is kinda normal but i can't help but think this game affected me in that way...

at first i pickup kingdom hearts because they have donal duck, im big fan of donal duck at that time and i have all comic about donal duck and i more know about it than a mickey or goofy, ah.... im crying right now... so much happen this past years....

I came here looking for kh soundtracks after finishing the last game. I'm still processing everything even though it's the majority of what we've wanted all these years.
To those of you who disliked this, I hope you can grow the heart you clearly lack so you can truly enjoy the memories this series has left on so many people.
