You are 🎉the man

Thank you so much!!!
Welcome
I cant find the egr valve, could you pointo location?
Thanks
Some of these dosent have it. Is ur throttle electric? If it is then it don’t have egr valve
At what Miles should this be replaced? I think mine is going bad. When I turn on the AC it starts to shake and make a noise
Well I would say 60k miles but people go more than that but ur shake could be bad engine mount that is what my accord doing I have bad side mount and rear
@@RBTheMechanic Very true, I have 160k on mines and its honestly a part that I almost forgot about until recently because of the noise when I turn on the AC So I am pushing my luck. Oh I see, the engine mount is connected to the water pump? I will have to take a closer look at that. Thanks for the response.
You have a video from the bottom pov? I have a 2012 accord se. I want to change the water pump and alternator. So I don’t know if I want to go from the bottom or top side.
I would go up top I done it from bottom don’t need to take out the extras if u go from bottom
@@RBTheMechanic alright sounds good, what’s the difference between a remanufactured alternator and a new one I guess? And how do you know how many amps you have to get? I’ve noticed that my tail lights(led) and side markers(led) are getting burnt out and they are less than 5 months old. Some of them don’t want to turn on they sort of just flicker, then they stay on.
When you change the water pump do you change the thermostat too?
@@TR1CKSHOTS31 ok well I use remy brand alternators they been good to be and are rebuilt also the company give me lifetime warrnty but rebuilt they change few components inside that are common Dalits like brushes and diode and no I didn’t change thermostat the flickering leds are bad light u can rebuild the light or replace the whole thing I have same issue on my accord
@@RBTheMechanic wait you can rebuild the led, How do you do that? And ok I’ll have to look that brand up and see how much them rebuilt alternator are, thanks. I’ve been watching some of your videos to fix up my car. Good info. Keep it up
@@TR1CKSHOTS31 u have to take it apart and buy new led bulbs and wider just the led bulbs are bad but problem doing this is hell of time consuming when u brake open the light it will never go back togather solid and water might go in and then it’s starts alll over replace the whole assembly u might not want to take that rout just replace the whole thing from start
Take the motor mount out the way and lift up the engine a little bit,,,,
U can do that but no need to
Would that be a reason why the belt keeps popping off my belt popped off 4 times
It could be anything that if off I would check to see if there’s any play in the idler and tensnor pully or movement in pump also there’s should t be any leaks on the belt
@@RBTheMechanic he told me theres play in the water pump which is causing it to slip im just asking around see if that might be true im tired of having to buy belts just kinda scared at this point when i drive now. i just really want to make sure that its really the water pump because my car is not heating up or anything its just rippin my belts off. n thank you so much for responding back this is my first time even asking anyone a question so i really appreciate your time n response back to me.
@@daisylaureano5999 that could be the reason it will tilt the belt
@@RBTheMechanic thank you so much
@@daisylaureano5999 welcome!! Glad to help!
Do you need to replace the thermostat on these? 🤔
Yes every car need thermostat at certain point I did thermostat on my accord at 70k miles I don’t drive much it’s 2004 accord I got 80k miles so far on it
@@RBTheMechanic Very true, was just just thinking about this since I will be replacing my water pump next week. Makes sense to do them both at the same time. 160k on it now so I am looking to do some preventive maintenance and start replacing certain parts. Brought the car with 30k and I haven't really had any major issues yet besides this current noise when I turn on the ac. I should probably check my AC clutch fan or bearing to?
@@RBTheMechanic Oh wow, only 80k? Nice!!
@@danjones3402 yeah my first car I keep it good I’m not guy that like to drive lot stay local
@@danjones3402 u can spin the clutch when belt is off see how bearing feels but usully those brake down that’s when u replace it
There was no need to replace the tensioner just the pulley
If it’s not bad yup
How much for a job like this cause I called places and they said $600 😮
That’s fair job price for both parts alone are like $300
Get yourself A Milwaukee cordless inpack
you talk to much and you can do it from the bottom thats a lie
Ok thanks u sure can do it from bottom if u got a lift
ive done it
