Thanks for all the tips and guide to installing lights on my BX. A tip for soldiering connections: Interlace your fingers together as if you are about to pray, twist your fingers by counter-rotating your hands, apply heat and add soldier. Now you will forever be doing the lords work. Add heat shrink for a weather-free experience. Keep on Mike!
Good afternoon Mike, Princess Auto👍Great instructional video. At present I don't use my tractor after dark very much, but lots of good info, I enjoyed watching. Thanks for sharing, Ben
Hey thanks for commenting, and the kind words! I'd rather not snow blow in the dark but when it dumps here I like to keep on top of it. So it does require night work sometimes in the winter. Good cheap way to add lights without to much renovation to the tractor. Thanks again for watching! Cheers
Great install video Mike. I like your idea to add a plastic strip to protect the ROPS, I would have done the same 👍🏻. It will make a huge difference when blowing snow at night 👍🏻. Have a great weekend 🙋🏼♂🇨🇦
Nice instructional video, Mike. I just bought some LED lights for my tractor. I want to do the easiest install, too, but because I am no good at electrical work!!
⚠AWESOME tutorial Mike ! ⚠ So glad I found it ! I am happy you went through ALL the steps ! It was like I was there with you doing the install ! I even learned about those special plugs you used ! and thank you for giving us all the links to the stuff you used !! - P.S. I saw that a lot of the Vancouver area got hit with about a good foot of snow ! Hopefully you did too and you got to enjoy your Kubota doing a clean up !
Hello! Your channel is new to me as well. I’ll head over and subscribe. I’ll take a look at your videos this weekend. Thanks for the kind words on the lighting video. Making it super easy was my goal. I’m an electrician by trade and wanted to make sure anyone even without a meter could do this. Yes tons of snow here and will have an awesome snow blowing video next Saturday. Thanks for reaching out and commenting. Cheers, Mike.
Good morning and really appreciate you watching and commenting. I’d say other than the connection point to the tractors wiring everything is the same. The Rops wiring and soldering would be the same. If you have a look at your fuse panel do you have a fuse marked work light? If you do you just need to find where they left the factory wiring for connection. Cheers, Mike.
Came over to check out your BX. I will trade you my mirrors for your backhoe😂😂👍 I don’t know how I missed your channel I’m glad I found it now you got great content just subscribed 😁👍🚜💨🦃🍽
Hey thanks for the kind words. Yeah love the backhoe for sure. I’d bet it is my most used tool other than the snow blower in the winter. Have a great Thanksgiving weekend and thanks for subscribing! Cheers,Mike
Great video as far as I could watch. There is a very High Pitched Whining sound in the background and my 70 year old ears just couldn't take it. Sorry and I bet you didn't know it was even there
Hey thanks for having a look and letting me know. I can hear it if I turn up my volume really loud. I'll have to look into that and see what is causing the hum. Id bet its my LED lights in the shop but Ill have a look. Cheers.
Just finished looking into it...Unfortunately it would seem my Canon DSLR does not like the LED shop lights... Not to sure what I can do to fix this other than a new camera $$$

Ha Ha. Yeah I can tell by how clean your tractor and Garage are we both suffer from the same affliction...I am very picky. Have a good one

Haha. Well, admitting it is the first step. I’m an electrician by trade so I do have the advantage. Thanks for watching. Cheers and Happy New Year.

Great video, ty for the detailed video. I don’t have a BX , I have a B2301. I wonder if it’s similar on my tractor

As long as You had soldering iron out, just melt ends of cut off zip straps (nice and rounded).
Wow what a great idea! Thanks for sharing this information. I’ve never thought of that. Cheers, Mike.
