My sister has owned 3 outbacks 2010-2014, every single one of them burn a gargantuan amount of oil, and they all throw a code for a catalytic converter, she’s never buying one again these things are junk.
Those were a few bad years for the oil consumption. Otherwise Subaru sells great here in Alaska because of the AWD. I miss my 13' Impreza Sport Hatch. The reason Subaru sells good is safety. My wife should be dead after getting in accident in my Impreza, but instead walked away. Bruised but alive.

You know, I'm genuinely surprised why Subaru sells so well. I'd personally take a Kia or a Hyundai over a Subaru 🤷♂️
