I purchased the 2019 Street Glide Special and once I upgraded the rear suspension with Ohlins remote reservoir shocks in 13 inches, it is a wonderful bike for local and touring applications. Up to this, I had ridden Ultra Classics for 20 years. I rode a BMW in years past with full Windjammer fairing and loved it. I test rode a Road Glide but did not like the fixed fairing. I will go back to a Street Glide or Limited for my next ride, if there is one. At 70, I am not sure how many years I have left on two wheels.
As a Street Glide owner I agree with many of the comments raised, particularly the distance between the rider and the Road Glide fairing, and the storage. When I was trading up from a softail I was convinced the Road Glide would be the bike for me. The dealer had a Street Glide Special demonstrator which I rode, immediately loved, and bought with a good deal. Then I spent months wondering if I made the right choice until I was lent a Road Glide for a long weekend tour. After 1,200 kms I absolutely hated it!. The whole fairing and cockpit layout, and seating position was not for me. The ride never inspired the same confidence in the bends, and the whole feel of the steering made me think of a boat!. Sorry Road Glide owners!. I also like the weight of the bat fairing when riding on twisty roads as it gets the front end of the bike down quickly, and when you add a good suspension the Street Glide has a great riding character. A lot of my club mates are changing from Street Glides to Road Glides, and I agree that it may be a better choice for long distance riding if you carry a passenger, but I will not be seduced by the „dark side”.!.

roadglides are best for the interstate because the fairing is frame mounted not fork mounted they don't have the wind pushing the forks around like a street glide

I recently started watching your videos. I’m hooked. I send your vids to my riding buddies and I don’t send much of anything to other people but you’re the exception because your content is awesome. Case in point for this video: my wife rides an RGS and I ride a SGST. We both have a 131 on them. I’ve ridden both extensively and like the SG more for city riding and RG more for long distance riding especially on the interstate. I live in Arizona and speed limit here is 75 and I can cruise much higher speeds very comfortably on both but the RG wins out. Btw, I’m taking the push up challenge!
Only difference between the Street Glide and Road Glide are the fairings. Frams are the same engine specs are the same. I live in the States in Az and I see chicks on Road Glides more often than I see them on Street Glides. I personally Own a 2019 Street Glide. I love the bat wing fairing and would'nt have it any other way.
Good Stuff!! I have a Street glide and my wife rides a 1200 iron. We are in the market for an upgrade to a street glide standard. That's right. A his and hers BAT WING... A legendary look that is truly a classic from HD. Plain n simple
I currently have a SG and a RG, and I prefer the RG for the following reasons: 1) It took me 3 years and 4 windshields and fairing wings to finally get rid of the severe buffeting on the SG. Too much air comes up from below the SG fairing. The RG was buffeting free from day one. 2) The stock dual LED headlights are WAY better than anything on a SG. So wide a beam that it makes turning the headlight on the SG irrelevant. 3) Have you tried adjusting the bars on a SG? Step one - remove the fairing - seriously? You can adjust the RG bars in 5 minutes, or install T-bars, or many other styles. Just way more bar options for the RG. 4) Actual storage in the fairing on the RG.
All very valid points. I like a little air behind the fairing because summer here is very hot. I don't need to adjust the handle bars I have them as close to the fairing as possible.
not sure about the newer ones, but on my '15 SGS - i can adjust the bars in about 5 minutes too. That being said, its a one off thing - set and forget. I do agree about the buffeting though, being about 190cm i cop a heap of wind to the face. Looking at the Klockwerks 10" flare, i think it will nail it once and for all. SG or RG - lets just ride :)
Each to our own we all have own preference,I happy whatever bike people ride,I ride Sport Glide it suits my style being a shorter rider and is multi style bike
First year of the actual Street Glide model was 2006 prior to that it was all under the Electra Glide Model. I bought one in 2007 and rode it for 12 years before buying my Road Glide. I prefer the look of the Street Glide but I think the Road Glide handles better on the road more comfortable on long hauls which I do a lot. Now it's probably not fair to compare a 2019 Road Glide to a 2007 Street Glide there have been many changes to the touring chassis and drive train between 2007 and 2019. I wouldn't turn either one down!!
It all started as a standard FLH in 1969...the first year of the batwing faring. The fixed fairing first appeared as OEM on a Harley Davisdon FLT was 1979 or 1980...which was also the first year of the square backbone frame. I've had both and prefer the batwing over the fixed fairing because of the blind spot created by the fixed fairing.
I Ride both RG and SG but prefer the instrument panel set up on the Street Glide and I like the extra weight on the handlebars…..I like the weight, positive input and feedback of the handlebar mounted fairing. You mention the Rearview Mirror placement as well….I have 12” KST handlebars and tried using the under mounted handlebar setup for the rear view mirrors , I found the rear view mirrors unusable so I mounted them on top of the handlebars at that point……Much better although not as streamlined……But, the rear view is much better now…..Lastly, I prefer the look of the Batwing fairing.
They are both great bikes. Have a look at this video on the RG www.oldnotdead.club/articles/riding-the-road-glide-st-131-stage-4-harley-davidson-road-glide-st
I have a Street Glide and brother in law has a Road Glide. Same motor, 114. He gets much better gas mileage. We rode together for 700 miles. He would get around 50 miles per tank more than me. But I love my Street Glide.
@@OldNotDead-Club The Road Glide is actually heavier than the Street Glide. He actually told the Harley-Davidson deal we bought the bikes from. They said the Road Glide is more arrow dynamic. Plus my brother in law has about 50 pounds on me.
I felt the exact same about the RG fairing feeling weird and far away .. it felt heavy when standing it up… little weird at low speed .. Day I got it I rode to Harley 120th thing .. or rather a large party that was in Milwaukee. By the time I got home I was buzzing. Ever time I ride my RG it feels special. 5600 miles in 2 months in. Still as giddy as the first day.
I went in to test ride the RG ST and the SG ST. Went in thinking I wanted a grey RG ST after the test ride I was leaving with a vivid black 2022 StreetGlide ST! 🤘
I have a 2001 Screaming Eagle Road Glide with the 95 vs 88 CU In engine which I further customized. I bought the bike when it has 20K miles and I bought it as I wanted something that stood out which it does. Its a great riding bike with plenty of power. As an engineer I just felt the frame mounted fairing was a better design than a handle bar fairing. There is no wind buffering. At the time I purchased the bike (which was about 15 years ago) almost every bike magazine featured customized Road Glides. You either like the looks or don't but there is a reason the Honda Gold Wing has a frame mounted fairing.
Yeah it's very popular since the race series started. Try this video where I ride a RG www.oldnotdead.club/articles/riding-the-road-glide-st-131-stage-4-harley-davidson-road-glide-st
The Street Glide was first introduced in 2006. It was Willie G design and answer to those who purchased an Electra glide and shaved off fenders and guards. The idea was "less is best". Reason why there are (or were) no bagger crash bars or emblems on the fenders. No giant passing light bars and turn signals and stuff like that. Then there are those who purchase a Street Glide and put that stuff back on. Smh. I have an 06 Street Glide. And I've kept it in the less is best design. I did do some Suttle things such as pianted inner fairing, and a front chrome kit. But i left the small tucket turn signals. Single head light and so on. Good day.
I ride an XL1200L with a quick-detach windshield. The physical weight is very little, since it isn't a fairing, but just the plexiglass and the mounting straps and hardware. I almost always ride with it, since I also have a leather windshield bag. so that my my insurance papers and registration are with the bike if I take off the saddlebags. There is a NOTICEABLE difference in flick-ability without the windshield at any speed past probably 2nd gear. The downforce of the wind going into the forks vs going into the rider's torso makes the bike feel like its 100 pounds heavier. I bought the bike used with the windshield already installed and was amazed at how much sportier the bike handled without the wind serving to keep the bike going in a straight line. I hate how the Road Glide looks, but I have to assume that the handling difference must be there, compared to the Street Glide with the force of the wind acting on the steering, compared to the RG. But I'd much prefer the SG, since the RG is as ugly as sin.
I think the fairing spoilers that are exclusive to the road glide helps the side look significantly. I wasn't at all a fan of the road glide pretty Rushmore but with the re release in 2015 it's much easier to look at but flhxs all the way!
Thanks, they do look better now. Have you seen this video (more on the RG) www.oldnotdead.club/articles/riding-the-road-glide-st-131-stage-4-harley-davidson-road-glide-st
@Old Not Dead Spot on review! The ST should come with the screamin eagle reservoir shocks in my opinion. I hope you can get on a bike with the new 135 and see how it compares to the 131. I'm still a twin cam fan. I love my 2015 and I feel they make as much power or more per ci. I digress. Keep going ride safe
It's just a sign of the times as well as how many people you know own a black street glide I personally know about 5 and I got a red road glide to be different from them. Had they all owned blue street glides I would have gotten a white street glide.

@@OldNotDead-Club I'm 75. Done the first 3, Iron Butt Association challenges, at 73 and 74. Just to show myself I could. Now, I just want a comfortable long ride.
I met someone with a road glide and he made a good point. It's a weight on the front end removed. So cornering is so much easier (I know because I own a ultra). And on a long trip with a strong crosswind for hours. Your not fighting the front end to stay straight.
I rode one in the video below (different take on it) I didn't find that there was enough difference in weight to worry about it... www.oldnotdead.club/articles/riding-the-road-glide-st-131-stage-4-harley-davidson-road-glide-st
Love the old school batwing, grew up in the 70's and 80's and a Harley back then either had a batwing or just glass (Electra Glide or Road King). Bought my high school dream bike last June, 2022 XL883N. Looking to get a Grand American Touring bike for the 120th Anniversary. Kind of back and forth between an Electra Glide Standard or a Road King Special. I don't care for all the extra electronics for unnecessary extra maintenance failure potential, my Cardo and smart phone cover all the bases there on anything I ride. It will be down to which one I like riding better. I like the idea of a detachable wind screen and a 114 engine all blacked out, but I like the batwing and mag wheels too. Just waiting to see some 2023's to test ride and hopefully I can snag something for $25k or less.
I like the looks of the SG fairing; just seems to naturally flow with traditional HD styling. I normally prefer fixed fairings on other bikes but to me the RG is an eyesore; it looks like they used the body shell of ED-209 from Robocop as a fairing. Of course the bulbous look of the RG fairing could be brought in check with a painted stipe or a two-tone paint job (like the 2023 Indian Pursuit). Both the SG & RG are a "girl's bike", and both are a "man's bike" (unless it's painted pink); it depends on the rider who owns it.
I have a 21 Street Bob, but I want a touring bike to go on road trips. So I want a ROAD glide. I don't want to sell my Street Bob because it's an excellent around-town sprinter. But if my financial situation couldn't hold a Street Bob and a Road Glide, I'd buy a Street Glide for the best of both worlds. I rode both SG and the RG, and I like the RG better. So be it if that makes me a little girl on a hog.
It all boils down to personal preference 🤷♂ Me, I've got a 2012 RG...picked it up in Nov 2011 and to date I've put ~80K miles on. I've ridden Street Glides and Electras as well; I don't mind them, if someone said "Here have a Street Glide" it's not like I'd turn it down. But, I do prefer my RG...I find low speed maneuvering is easier without the weight of the fairing on the bars, I find visibility is a bit better, I find it's a tad more stable at speed especially when passing big rigs...but all of these are little things, and the differences between the two is pretty small. I say, ride what you ride, enjoy the ride, ride fast don't die lol.
I agree with you - minor differences only. Have you seen this video where I ride a RG? www.oldnotdead.club/articles/riding-the-road-glide-st-131-stage-4-harley-davidson-road-glide-st
@@OldNotDead-Club I watched it shortly after I wrote that comment lol. That 131 looked sick. I'm still running the 103, but I've got 80k miles on so I'm looking at getting the motor rebuilt as either a 110 or maybe a 117 😈
Hey, as you said there are many "warriors" which is better. I had an Electra from 2006 and now I have a Road Glide from 2019. There is nothing to argue about the appearance and taste, and it's an individual matter. It's a bit like whiskey, when you're very young it doesn't taste good but you get used to it over time. I think it matures the same way to Road Glide. I didn't like it at first, but it has a hint of a modern Harley look. As for driving, it's easier for me to maneuver at slow speeds because I don't carry the fairing on the steering wheel, I also don't have gusts of wind that are transferred to the "steering wheel". And besides, everyone drives what they like :-) Although, as I read the latest market research on the sale of Road Glide in 2022, there may soon be no more Street Glide (Electra) production, Road Glide is so popular. And besides, we are all motorcyclists and there is no need to divide yourself even more into supporters of one or the other model. Let's enjoy the ride and the joy of every kilometer (with us) or mile (with you). Regards

I ride a 2020 FLHXS, Denim River Rock Grey. I agree with you...the lines of the SG are far superior. To me, the Shark Nose (Road Glide) looks like an after thought. I find the Street Glide to be sexy. LOL!
I bought my Roadglide in the midst of Covid Pandemic 😷 there was no way I wanted anything to do with Bats after that so Shark nose it was, also I don’t have a pension card yet so there was only one option! 😂
74,000 kms on my 2018 FLTRU, rode the SG before I bought this. the RG handles way better in the wind and seems lighter at slow speeds, RG for me anyday.
I like them both but wouldn't buy either of them. I prefer the ground clearance and lean angle of my limited. I'm 6 foot and would only have the lower Streetglide or Roadglide if I was short. I like both fairings but my preference is the batwing fairing
The new road glide has a new fairing has been upgraded and looks better! A fairing that’s not attached to the forks and bars are supposed to be easier to steer and handle!
I solved the dilemma where I have the looks of the batwing styling, with the superior function of a fixed fairing. And the fairing is not so far away like the Roadglide....2017 Kawasaki Voyager. 46,000 miles and running strong!
That’s part of the reason I went with the street glide. I’m 5’7 and the infotainment system is too far away on the Roadglide. Also you have to look down to monitor your speed. Just too much going on. Lol
In California my dealer said the Road Glide out sells the Street Glides 2 to 1. I've had 4 Street Glides and no Road Glide. I'm going to get one just to see how much difference there is in the long run.
Thanks for the video, both are great bikes I have ridden both the street glides gauges / speedometer and tach are just in the right place and on the road glide not so much for me at least but then again I ride a Road King a real man’s bike no bells and whistles😂😂😂😂😂
Batwings just look sexier and mean. It seems like everyone has an RG now with T-Bars. I love seeing the RARE batwing with a motocross look to it. Also, batwings are a proven easier slow-maneuvering riding bike for city-dwellers. Hence, why cops and professional trainers use them to train advance classes- easier to maneuver.
Well VERY soon while I still can I'm going to do a cross country trip or better said a complete loop around the US and plan on taking my time doing it. I have test ridden both the street glide and the road glide. For what I am going to do the road glide is better for me simply because the extra storage space. I agree that not being able to reach ahead easily the gauges and gps etc is a downfall to me anyway makes it a bit awkward. But realistically since almost of the miles I will be putting on will be highway miles the need to continuously be reaching for the dash (Sort of speak) wont be that big of a deal. All my road bikes in the past the fairing moved with the turn and after years of riding I sort of used it as a rough gauge in my turning if that makes any sense. The road glide has a different feel in turning to me anyway but I will get settled to it in a short time. I plan on being gone for at least six months so the bigger the better just cruising that's it.
Thanks for you input here is another video that I made on the RG www.oldnotdead.club/articles/riding-the-road-glide-st-131-stage-4-harley-davidson-road-glide-st
I got my first Road Glide in 2008, long before Road Glides were "cool". In fact, at the time they weren't cool at all LOL. It definitely grew on me. and, eventually I put 109,000 miles on it before passing it to my son last year. In the interim, having developed a preference for Road Glides over batwing bikes, I bought a 2015 Road Glide Special new. My intention was to leave it "stock". Consequently I found myself riding the '08 and continuing to rack up miles on it as it is modded from one end to the other and was more comfortable, rode better and had a lot more power with its hot 107. Well two years ago the '15 became, lets just say, unstock. So I started riding it preferentially and passed the '08 to my son. So that's it then. End of story.
Does the Road Glide give you any more protection and wind coverage than the Batwing fairing on the Street Glide! Just because Harley showed that in a promotional photo doesn’t mean it’s so! Now that Harley is woke they can’t show or say that anymore. I may be wrong but I think the Road glide has the bigger front tire! Dam only men can have a big front tire right? Don’t tell that to the butch lady down the street who rides a Road glide or maybe that’s it! Lol Nice videos really enjoy them just discovered your channel! Keep up the good work and information!

Thank you for explaining the differences between both motorbikes. However, can anyone explain what makes a bike for girls and what for guys? Why could guys feel judged if they are riding a Road Glade? Are the "guy bikes' better than the "girl ones"? I believe that any gender can ride any bike; everything depends on your skills and preferences. That concept that the "masculine" energy is such, such and such, while the "feminine" is the opposite, has created significant confusion about us as human beings. Therefore, is there a war between two different motorcycles? Is this serious? There are more exciting things to fight for. Honestly, this subject is vane, sexist and ...
@@OldNotDead-Club I love everything else about it... the look, the comfort. Not the funnest bike I've ever had, but I can put 6 or 7 hundred miles in a day and not be crippled when I get off 👍
I like the the road glide better for me because I am tail and the faring is further away from me. The street glide is to close. And the road glide special looks better. White and all blacked out.
I wouldn’t consider either a “girls” bike. They are both just bikes. I have had both and currently have a RG. I prefer the RG at slow speed, “parking lot”. Same other then that.
I know it's an old video but who cares. Ride what makes you happy. When I'm on the Electra I don't really give two farts what "you" (general term) thinks how I look or what you think of my bike. I got it for me and my wife, we love it and that's all I care about. I never really felt riding was supposed to be about what you look like but how it makes you feel. Personally I've never had a frown on my face when I ride. Can't say I've seen anyone else either, they all seem to smile, even scooters. Except sportsters...no one likes a sportster j/k the wife loves em and wants one soon
The bat wing, is a timeless HD classic, the Road Glide is a trend (now) bike. I ride an Ultra Limited, its outstanding better through the corner, suspension is pure comfort, better rain protection. Honestly once you go to a touring frame, you cant go back to a fatty or softy if you want to eat up kms.
I’m just kidding. I own a Sportster, so any excuse for a comeback. But saying that, I also have a Road King which I love to death, but my Sporty has more balls.

I like Harleys but you need to do some upgrades which are not cheap to match the Indian Pursuit. It has better performing suspension, a lot more power, the tech on the Pursuit is very advanced compared to the Harleys and at the moment probably better than any other bike on the market.
I couldn’t decide so I bought both! I love my Street Glide but my Road Glide handles great! But I think if I had to say I think the Road Glide is more catered to a male rider!!!
Out of all the touring bikes … when I see a female rider she is usually on a SG special. One the other day was on hwy and was riding the piss out of it. So I loved seeing that.
Road Glide 100%. I have clocked hundreds of miles on both and in my opinion the Road Glide is a superior bike. Better handling, 60 lb less weight on the triple tree bearings since the fairing is attached to the bikes frame, less wind buffeting on the fairing, much more maneuverable in cornering.

I live in Arizona and speed limit here is 75 and I can cruise much higher speeds very comfortably on both but the RG wins out. Btw, I’m taking the push up challenge!
Thank you, that's really appreciated. Love the 131, I have a friend with a 131 RG and another with a 128 both awesome.
Thanks, I love it too
Good Stuff!! I have a Street glide and my wife rides a 1200 iron. We are in the market for an upgrade to a street glide standard. That's right. A his and hers BAT WING... A legendary look that is truly a classic from HD. Plain n simple
Well done and I'm sure your wife will love it!
@@OldNotDead-Club No doubt! And thank you...
but, but, you let your wife ride a mans bike??? (joking!!)
I currently have a SG and a RG, and I prefer the RG for the following reasons:
1) It took me 3 years and 4 windshields and fairing wings to finally get rid of the severe buffeting on the SG.
I have an 08 EGC. Wind buffering was marginal at worst. Harleys windsplitter windshield cured all.
Each to our own we all have own preference,I happy whatever bike people ride,I ride Sport Glide it suits my style being a shorter rider and is multi style bike
The sports glide is a fine bike, love the baby batwing
I’ll stick with my Street Glide love it!!
Yeah they are awesome
First year of the actual Street Glide model was 2006 prior to that it was all under the Electra Glide Model. I bought one in 2007 and rode it for 12 years before buying my Road Glide. I prefer the look of the Street Glide but I think the Road Glide handles better on the road more comfortable on long hauls which I do a lot. Now it's probably not fair to compare a 2019 Road Glide to a 2007 Street Glide there have been many changes to the touring chassis and drive train between 2007 and 2019. I wouldn't turn either one down!!
Yes i agree - thanks for the comment
It all started as a standard FLH in 1969...the first year of the batwing faring. The fixed fairing first appeared as OEM on a Harley Davisdon FLT was 1979 or 1980...which was also the first year of the square backbone frame. I've had both and prefer the batwing over the fixed fairing because of the blind spot created by the fixed fairing.
Thanks for watching and for your input
The tour glide is the only shark nose I acknowledge 😂
Road glide shark fin looks like a romulan space craft from a 1968 Star Trek episode. Batwing looks like a Harley.
lol YES
A Romulan bird of war is much more stylish and good looking! Lol
I love the street glide and have a 2015 SG! Like the looks and like that the fairing is closer! With a suspension upgrade, legends, it rocks!
I love the Highlander clip in there lol. But I don’t think either bike is a man or a woman’s bike.
Thanks and you are 100% correct
Have a look at this video on the RG

I have a Street Glide and brother in law has a Road Glide. Same motor, 114. He gets much better gas mileage. We rode together for 700 miles. He would get around 50 miles per tank more than me. But I love my Street Glide.
Thanks - that's interesting to hear. Is there a weight difference between the two of you and luggage?
Way to go, awesome bike
I went in to test ride the RG ST and the SG ST. Went in thinking I wanted a grey RG ST after the test ride I was leaving with a vivid black 2022 StreetGlide ST! 🤘
Good decision -- long live the street glide!
I have a 2017 street glide and i love it.. also riding is riding no matter what you own, have fun and ride safe
You are correct - go the street glide!
Try this video where I ride a RG

I am on my second Heritage and find it a great all-purpose motorcycle but it seems to be marketed more and more as a women's motorcycle.
The heritage is an awesome bike
Good day.
Thank you for the extra information
SG !!! But check out my other more recent video on the 131 RG

@@stephendehart lol, don't blame you at all - that's a great run. You are a legend riding at 75!

The road king special is awesome - just depends on how far and fast you plan to ride
Great point about the rider who owns it
I have a 21 Street Bob, but I want a touring bike to go on road trips.
Thanks for your input - see my apology video featuring the RG
I love my Street glide 2022 , good review
Cheers
Thank you - they are awesome!

@@OldNotDead-Club I watched it shortly after I wrote that comment lol. That 131 looked sick. I'm still running the 103, but I've got 80k miles on so I'm looking at getting the motor rebuilt as either a 110 or maybe a 117 😈
@@Garrett1986 You will love it - that will be awesome
Regards

74,000 kms on my 2018 FLTRU, rode the SG before I bought this. the RG handles way better in the wind and seems lighter at slow speeds, RG for me anyday.
Thanks, that's a popular choice. Here is my other take on the RG...
ua-cam.com/video/bTBt_PZrnmc/v-deo.html
I like them both but wouldn't buy either of them. I prefer the ground clearance and lean angle of my limited. I'm 6 foot and would only have the lower Streetglide or Roadglide if I was short. I like both fairings but my preference is the batwing fairing
Thanks love the limited too
I like the gages line up better... very easy to see..less wind on your chest.. I love the street glides better ..
Same here!
The new road glide has a new fairing has been upgraded and looks better! A fairing that’s not attached to the forks and bars are supposed to be easier to steer and handle!
I find the Syreet Glide easier to ride but theybare pretty much the same
I solved the dilemma where I have the looks of the batwing styling, with the superior function of a fixed fairing. And the fairing is not so far away like the Roadglide....2017 Kawasaki Voyager. 46,000 miles and running strong!
Lol, I guess i cant argue with that - I've had a few Kawasaki's and they have been awesome. I

That’s part of the reason I went with the street glide. I’m 5’7 and the infotainment system is too far away on the Roadglide. Also you have to look down to monitor your speed. Just too much going on. Lol
You are spot on, its too far away for taller people too
In California my dealer said the Road Glide out sells the Street Glides 2 to 1. I've had 4 Street Glides and no Road Glide. I'm going to get one just to see how much difference there is in the long run.
I have heard the same - they are getting more and more popular. I guess its their turn as The SG was like this before.
Thanks for the video, both are great bikes I have ridden both the street glides gauges / speedometer and tach are just in the right place and on the road glide not so much for me at least but then again I ride a Road King a real man’s bike no bells and whistles😂😂😂😂😂

They are actually comfortable. It's just the whole package is a little wrong for me - but many love them
@@OldNotDead-Club
Yes, had both and it REALLY bugged me
Batwings just look sexier and mean.
Agree completely, thanks for the comment
Thanks for you input here is another video that I made on the RG
www.oldnotdead.club/articles/riding-the-road-glide-st-131-stage-4-harley-davidson-road-glide-st

@@OldNotDead-Club yeuh, hotter than hell here in Texas too
Street Glide riders identify as they thems lol
JK M8

Loving your vids
Lol, thanks. Check out my latest.. identify as a woman video, for a laugh
I have had both and prefer the Road Glide. The street glide started in 2006 as a model. The road glide was 1995
Thanks - where did you get the info? That doesn't seem right?
@@OldNotDead-Club facts. You can look it up online. The street glide started out as a electra glide standard and became the street glide in 06
@@HDR20 thanks, lol I thought I did.
Hey mate - I’ve just bought a 2019 Ultra Glide - what does it make me?😂
@@nelsonpollard302 you are a legend and can supervise the war bewteen RG and Sg's
Dyna Wide Glides r fantastic for Mountains.
Yes they are a lot of fun, I've owned one in the past
After test riding both the Street and Road Glide I bought the Indian Pursuit.
lol, why
I like Harleys but you need to do some upgrades which are not cheap to match the Indian Pursuit. It has better performing suspension, a lot more power, the tech on the Pursuit is very advanced compared to the Harleys and at the moment probably better than any other bike on the market.
@@Peter-wc4kr ok, thanks
I couldn’t decide so I bought both! I love my Street Glide but my Road Glide handles great! But I think if I had to say I think the Road Glide is more catered to a male rider!!!
lol, and the arguing continues
Out of all the touring bikes … when I see a female rider she is usually on a SG special. One the other day was on hwy and was riding the piss out of it. So I loved seeing that.
Thanks for watching
Well fuck, now I have to sell my RG.
Lol, no don't watch the end first - you will change your mind
@@OldNotDead-Club , all good, I won't be rushing out to sell it. Apart from the shit seat, handlebars & suspension, it's awesome😅
@@DCV65 lol
I like street glide best my self
Awesome bike
Road Glide 100%. I have clocked hundreds of miles on both and in my opinion the Road Glide is a superior bike. Better handling, 60 lb less weight on the triple tree bearings since the fairing is attached to the bikes frame, less wind buffeting on the fairing, much more maneuverable in cornering.
Thanks, I like them both and don't find any disadvantage on the SG
Same ole blacked out street glides same ole blacked out road glides. Be different, folks.
lol Harley's should be black
So I can't hear his audio, is anyone else having the same issue?
Apologies, this is fixed in my newer video. Depends on the device you are listening on, you may not have both audio channels
