Cassian Andor was first introduced in ROGUE ONE: A STAR WARS STORY, now Disney+ brings ANDOR, giving the backstory to Cassian becoming a revolutionary and part of the rebellion. Set Decorator Rebecca Alleway SDSA discusses the series and bringing the STAR WARS history book to life, as the events of ANDOR predate ROGUE ONE and A NEW HOPE by five years. Along with Production Designer Luke Hull, Alleway created extensive worlds not seen before and those anchored in the STAR WARS cannon. Rosemary Brandenburg SDSA talks with Alleway about how each element has a real world counterpart, the enormous amount of “ïn camera” brick and mortar sets including home interiors, the city of Ferrix and that the STAR WARS universe has an antique shop!

Denise Gough (Dedra) says that she would open a cupboard that wasn't supposed to be filmed - and there would be authentic Star Wars crockery inside!
This level of attention to detail makes the actors' lives much easier .. and it shows. The actors were ALL fantastic.

This so much. A nerd is too caught up nostalgia, you need someone who will take the setting and do new and interesting things with it, rather than making empty copies of what came before.
