Came here because Pete Peppers mentioned this UA-cam channel on Severance. It’s just incredible to see how much thought and creative talent goes into the construction of what seems to be these simple (not!) sets. Fascinating. It’s a shame that the average person will not see this. Such detail. Such care.

The scene in the office building at the end of part one shows USM Haller furniture, which was only designed in 1963. Also the Marcel Breuer like furniture of Lazlo was avant garde in the 20s not in the 40s

great stuff! this film benefitted so much from the focus on practical set builds and locations and there was some real design restraint in what could have otherwise been an ungrounded cgi confection with none of the charm of the original. really seems like they had fun despite the time constraints.

this episode is amazing. the period town especially with the practical interiors looked super cool. and being able to shoot so close to the historical places. some of the recent interviews about period movies have been so cool like "the color purple". it would be so interesting to see one of these episodes with Rachael Ferrara and Katie Byron about "the curse" which has a contemporary settng
