    This all looks great just after it has been covered, but what about after doing some offroading in the rain and the mud? No-one seems to have done a proper "after" test. Shiny and new when sprayed.

      How is the Lanoguard holding up for you after 7 months?
      I’ve just about to apply it to my 1973 Ford Granada…

    • @arthurbond2957
      @arthurbond2957 2 роки тому

      @@TheColv hi David the lanoguard is holding up very well, I did my car while up on axle stands and still was able to do a good job, sprayed everything, rubber and plastics too, my car had an MOT last week and I was able to get a good look at the underside while up on the lift, there is no rust coloured metal anywhere, you would easily see any misses when it’s cured , it looks almost black and has a smooth feel to it, infact the reason why I bought Lanoguard in the first place was I had an MOT advisory on a rusted rear subframe, I gave the subframe a light wire brushing before application, I took my car to the same testing station last week and the same mechanic did the test, the subframe was on my mind while he was he was doing the test, the car passed with no advisories, don’t get on your paint work it doesn’t wash off , I’ve splashes on my cills,
      So David go ahead it does a great job and I’m sure Lanoguard will still be in good shape after the winter but I’ve enough to do the whole job again next Easter, the only criticism would be the filter, it kept blocking so removed it and had no trouble after that, I hope this helps David good luck

    Interesting how Lanoguard compared to Waxoyl, it was great been able to see both products applied to almost the same vehicles, Lanoguard wins in my opinion the finish it leaves is superb compared to Waxoyl, I know you used eye protection but my advice is to also wear a mask and some gloves while spraying this product, awesome video buddy...

    You have used Linseed Oil on your other jeep to preserve the "patina" - why don't you use Linseed Oil on the underside of your vehicles?
    Linseed oil is natural and polymerizes to form a hermetically-sealed hard coating...

    s casNot a useful test as it needs to be evaluated 6 months down the line! When it's first sprayed on anything will look good. It's the durability that is critical, and nine of these types of products are cheap. Bring this car back in 6 months and let's see how it has fared.

    ⚠️1 year down the line is what matters.
    What is looks like when spraying on is totally irrelevant !
    I've tried them all.
    Underseal peels off and is heavy.
    Granville Spray chain grease is the cheapest and long lasting.
    Just top up the rusty edges every year.
    £6 per can.
    3 cans required initially then just 1 can per year at MOT to top up.
